    Frosting lump

Stopped in to try Bruster's ice cream for the 1st time today. Ordered a kids cup, as I was just tasting to try the shop out.. I was handed the tiniest scoop of ice cream that I'd ever seen! I ordered birthday cake ice cream. The actual ice cream part of it was good but about 30% of my scoop was a LARGE lump of frosting, and not ice cream at all. I wish my 1st experience here was a better one....

The Best ice cream!! the only downside is you never know if they'll have your favorite flavor when you go since it's always different.

There is plenty of parking in the plaza and tables both inside and out where you can enjoy your treat! We tried the cinnamon toast crunch and butterfinger, and both were exactly what you would expect! They have quite a few flavors to pick from, so I will definitely need to go check out some of the others. Prices are very reasonable with a small at $4, medium at $6 or a pint at $10. They also have a loyalty card and punch a hole for every order. Once you fill the card, you get to spin the wheel and win a prize, anything from free ice cream, t-shirt, hat, or even a stuffed puppy (Hank). Unfortunately, Hank was not there today, but just another reason to go back! The employees behind the counter were friendly and were cleaning and picking up between customers, keeping the place tidy. It's definitely a place to go and check out!

My sons wanted to go to SweetFrog but i told them lets go try some real ice cream. I got the coffee caramel, my daughter got cookie dough (she said its REAL cookie dough and was delicious), my oldest son got cookies & cream (fun fact, it takes 44 Oreos to make a batch), my youngest son got vanilla (he took a bite and told him wow you did a good job, it's delicious!). Before we left my youngest told him "you do a really good job with your ice creams, thank you"! There is also a freezer of pints (cash only) if you want to bring some home to enjoy! If you love ice cream and like to support local like my family does, please stop in to Hanks Carolina Creamery! Check out his merch too while youre there!

Restrooms: The men's has a blue painted door while the women's has a pink door. Very cute! There are stalls and there is a changing table. Parking: Plenty of parking spaces The good stuff: They offer the options of getting a milkshake. Fill your cup with whatever flavor your heart desire then take it to the register to have it blended. No toppings added to qualify as a milkshake pricing. They have repeats of vanilla but it's a small difference (non-fat, country vanilla and regular vanilla) Pretty wide variety of flavors. My favorite is the country vanilla, banana, coconut, pineapple. My daughter's is the sweet stuff, such as cotton candy, cake etc. Wide range of toppings, anywhere from candies to fruits and jellies. They offer brownies, peeps, cookies, syrups etc. Price is pretty reasonable. I've usually piled up and spend anywhere from $3-7. Depends on how much toppings and yogurt you fill your cup with. They offer merchandise tees which are super adorable. It's a Christian chain dessert bar.

I love that they have a sugar-free option in their ice cream menu, the only part I would've preferred was that they had more than just that single option (for sugar-free selections). That said I have no complaints, everybody here was very pleasant and welcoming and professional, and the product itself was high quality for sure. I would love to give this place five full stars but I'll hold off until they have a few more sugar-free options for folks. I mean it though it's only the fact that they had just one choice of sugar free ice cream, that is the ONLY downside. But I can tell they're on the way up so the next time I go out there I hope to update this review with a fifth star!! That said, I will say we got two desserts here one was the strawberry shortcake. It tasted absolutely phenomenal, very fresh. I wouldn't be surprised if that was homemade ice cream, and it could've been more than a few hours old shortcake. The second dessert we tried was the peach cobbler with the butter, pecan, sugar-free ice cream, I could not tell that it was sugar-free, some of the best sugar-free ice cream I've ever had, And the dessert itself once again tasted extremely fresh. I made the statement after it was all over, that I can absolutely tell (from my experience today at Peaches n Cream) when something is fresh and when it's not. They really know how to do it.

Their ice cream is always delicious. On this trip, since it was strawberry season, I chose strawberry shortcake with fresh strawberries and a scoop of homemade strawberry ice cream. It was outstanding and the service was good! The five stars is for its ice cream... The Berry Patch has about any produce item that you can think of. They have it... but in my opinion, it is overpriced! Today, they had seeded watermelons from Florida for $17.99, Athena cantaloupes that looked past prime for 4.99, and local strawberries for $8.00 a quart.

I originally discovered the Berry Patch on Social and saved it on maps, knowing that at some point we'd make it! Well that day was today! When we pulled up the parking lot was quite full and the lines were long, but they moved relatively quickly, which we were thankful for. They have a lot of flavors to choose from, including options with a slice of pie or cobbler that are sweet and honestly delicious. If you're into ice cream this a place definitely worth adding to your bucket list, as you try multiple flavors on each visit and never have the same one twice. Seating is somewhat limited on a busy day, but they do have numerous chairs and a outdoor picnic area. It was fun to see adults and kids alike both enjoying a wide variety of flavors. They of course have several portion sizes available ranging from kids cups to a quart size cups and some that appear even larger if you're looking to indulge! Overall, if you're traveling off the beaten path and need a break, the Berry Patch is a great stop, especially when it's hot to grab a delicious ice cream from a super unique giant berry building! Guten Appetit!

A Sourdough Lover's Dream (Family-Friendly!)…read more If you are looking for a pizza experience that stands out from the crowd, you have to check this place out. From the first bite to the last scoop of dessert, everything was top-tier--and it is incredibly **family-friendly**. The star of the show is definitely the **sourdough crust**. It's a total game-changer--perfectly chewy with that signature tangy depth you can only get from a natural starter. It was cooked to perfection, providing a sturdy base for the toppings while remaining light and airy. It's easily some of the most delicious pizza I've had in a long time. Make sure you save room for dessert! They serve a variety of ice cream flavors that are incredibly rich and creamy. It's clear they use high-quality ingredients because the texture is velvety and the flavors are bold. It's the perfect way to cool down and treat yourself after a savory meal. One of the best parts about this spot is how welcoming it is for parents. They have dedicated play areas for children, featuring different sections to keep the little ones entertained. I'll Be Back to enjoy the unique sourdough crust which adds a layer of flavor you won't find at a standard pizzeria. The staff went above and beyond. They were attentive, friendly, and handled the busy atmosphere with ease.Between the play areas and the creamy ice cream, it's a paradise for kids.

The place itself is cute inside with board games for kids to keep them entertained. The outside is cute inside pictures, but was less appealing in person. The play area was not as safe and rather grimey. The bathrooms could also use a heavy cleaning (and we were there rather early in the day on a Saturday). The pizza was a bit to be desired unfortunately. We came with friends after a t-ball game. They order slices and we order two pies. We knew they would get theirs first, but it was quickly clear they forgot all about our order because tables that came in after us got theirs first pies first. When we got ours they were burnt to a crisp on the bottom. They were also both so greasy that it's almost all you could taste, rather than the cheese or pepperoni. Would return for ice cream, and pass on the other food in the future.
