What a great mom and pop. They've got everything, friendly service, and the best sandwiches. We come here all the time.

Holy sandwich, what a place! Yummy sammies, friendly service, friendly customers and amaaaaazing…read moreprices. If you live in the Bay Area, these prices will make you look at the check twice! We stopped here on our way from Yuba River. It was time for a quick lunch and we had skipped breakfast. The area is nothing to write home about. Very industrial, busy, working folks grabbing a bite during their lunch break. We were lucky and got a table inside, were able to quickly order and the food came fast. Enormous portions, very good quality and made with love!

It's open seating and we opted to sit outside, we didn't realize our table (as were all of them) dirty but our waitress noticed and offered to clean to clean it- mind you we were already seated. Another waitress comes by and wipes every bit of crumbs and dirt right onto my lap, irritating. I wiped my lap very obvious and she apologized. My bf ordered a fanta when we were asked about drinks and given about 10 mins to look over the menu. I ordered the Munga Munga (i believe that's the spelling) in burrito form and informed the waitress no feta as I have a dairy allergy. I saw her write it down. My bf again asked for the fanta and she said yes of course. We waited maybe 10-15 mins and out food was out. My bf still didn't have his fanta lol and my burrito came w feta- able to see bc they cut the burrito in half. I noticed right away and they took it back to remake. At this time my bfs fanta comes. Less than 10 mins later I get my refire. This particular omelette was supposed tp have Louisiana hot link sausage but it must've been cut very fine bc I could barely see any meat and there wasn't any flavor to it at all. I added some tobasco and pepper but I'm thinking I should've added salt too. Cool. I ate maybe half of half the burrito and a few bites of hash browns (that also had no flavor) and was ready to go. Less than 4 hrs later I had awful cramps and diarrhea. It's clear they don't take allergies seriously here. My bf ordered chicken fried steak and he said it was delicious tho. Me personally, I'm good on coming back. Food thrown out, they likely cook eggs in butter or mix egg beaters w milk.

Hi. Thank you for my…read moredelicious lunch today,( 05/05/2026) it was really good. Everyone was so nice, I appreciate this. I literally stepped to the glass of the front door and I was greeted with happy cheerful" Hello" and a smile. I knew from that moment I was going have a good meal. I am very picky at times with my food and I am glad I picked Beach Hut deli of West Sacramento for my hungry stomach. I forgot to ask when I ordered my sandwich if the staff if they had a Ceaser dressing. " No not quite, but I can make you one, as a matter of fact;I can whip something up special for you" she says. This is something that made feel special.Thank you,for preparing my meal I enjoyed it. I appreciate your skills on handcraffting such a beautiful pretty sandwich and the sauce was phenomenal! I will be back....soon. Best regards, Walina

And Beach Hut Deli is one of those locations that's been doing it right for years. I've been coming here since around 2016, maybe even earlier, and that alone should say something. Places don't stay in your rotation that long unless they're doing things right. The sandwiches have always been solid. Fresh bread, quality ingredients, and they actually load them up. It's not skimpy, it's done the way it should be. Every time I go back, it tastes the same, and that consistency is what keeps you coming. The vibe is what you expect. Laid back, beach style, easy going. It's a place you can walk into and just relax, whether you're grabbing something quick or hanging out for a bit. What I respect most is that it hasn't changed. Same quality, same feel, same reason you keep going back. In a time where a lot of places fall off, this one hasn't. If you've been going here for years, you already get it. If you haven't, you'll understand after the first visit. Still one of my go to spots after all this time.

Go get a great sandwich and Italian sides right now! So good!…read more First time and I loved it. The place is old school but super delicious! Simple place. We all loved what we ordered. Fresh and fast. I want to try all those deserts. Sandwiches made with great crusty sub bread! I had the best dill potato salad. They had lots of food you could take to go and many customers pre ordered food. Lots of food for you to cook yourself at home. I just wish they had pasta dishes there to eat. Pasta dishes were fresh pasta and fresh marinara but they did not cook it there. Was in a deli case for you to cook at home. Wide variety of desserts and sides. I'll try the canolli next time. Good flavor, good aioli.

They have sandwiches and salads and a case full of italian goodies like cannoli and sausages. The staff was very friendly. I ordered the hot pastrami sandwich that came with chips. Sandwich was big on a fresh made roll with a ton of thinly sliced pastrami. Also had fresh veggies and an aioli. I think my only complaint was that basically all the sandwiches had 2 to 3 sauces so its a bit much and messy. I omitted the italian dressing on my sando because im allergic to olive oil but im sure it was good. I also think the wait was a little long for the sandwich, not terrible but for a place that only makes sandwiches it was a little slow. It was busy so I will definitely give them that. I would like to go back and try another sandwich or two. Worth the stop in, just not a lot of places to sit so get it to go!

My to-go order is the Hornet on a Dutch crunch roll with everything on it except mustard. Make it a combo with chips and a drink, and you'll have an incredible lunch. The ambiance is different from other sandwich spots in midtown. The chairs and tables are older and worn, and it's small inside, but it's also inside an old house that was converted into a restaurant. That alone makes this place unique. People hang out inside or outside with friends and enjoy the vibes. There's a real sense of community that the Sandwich Spot brings along with uniquely crafted sandwiches. All of the sandwiches are named after people or landmarks in Sacramento. The staff are all friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and will help you with recommendations if you're not sure which sandwich to get. It honestly feels like you're in the company of good friends. The staff joke around and seem to enjoy their job and working together. You won't be disappointed by trying the Sandwich Spot during your next lunch break or on the weekend, hanging out with a friend.

The restaurant is in a really cool old Victorian house, and the staff were super friendly. The interior was clean and looked like a nice place to dine in, but I ended up taking my order to go. I ordered the #19 with turkey, prosciutto, avocado, and swiss on a dutch crunch roll. The bread had just gone into the oven, so we had to wait about 10 minutes, but I can't complain because it was baked fresh to order. Overall, I thought the sandwich was very good, but honestly not quite as amazing as people online had made it out to be. It was definitely good, but I don't know if I'd be dying to go back when I think Ike's, Mr. Pickle's, Corti Bros, and maybe even Nugget or Sprouts make more interesting sandwiches. To me, those places use slightly higher quality ingredients as well, though maybe I just didn't order the best sandwich here. Overall, it was a good sandwich and a good experience. My expectations were probably just a little too high. I wouldn't be dying to come back but also wouldn't say no if someone wanted to go there for lunch.
