Great Food & Service with Friendly Ambience. The staff greats You and seats You fairly quickly depending on how busy they are obviously. Waters are brought to table and beverage orders are taken, to which I usually order coffee and they have flavored creamer as well as regular and half and half. My family loves coming here and the food never disappoints even tho I always have the same thing, Steak & Eggs

This place is a cozy cafe style Mexican inspired sandwich/burger/brunch spot. Serrano burger: B+ Had pastrami and Serrano peppers on it for a little bit of heat. I liked it a lot. Pastrami on burgers is a trend that I think needs more love! Not a big fan of the crinkle cut fries but they're okay.

Perfect poached eggs the whites were totally done and the yolks were not! Bacon was nice and crispy and the French toast was delicious.

I had to go to IKEA for storage bins and I was hungry. I saw this place on Yelp and decided to try it out! My birthday last week moved me into the Senior category! So I opted for the French toast, bacon and egg combo. It was under $10! I ordered my eggs poached and they were poached too perfection! The bacon I asked for crispy and it was perfectly crispy. The French toast was also delicious. It came with coffee too! If I'm out in West Sac again I'll be sure to stop by and eat! You should try the place. It's really good. There's lots of beautiful succulents. I sat outside and enjoyed those.

Serrano's is solid fare but their prices have gone up recently. =( But I'm glad we have them as an option in West Sac.

Phenomenal. Amazing. And more! Great service and the best chicken fried steak with biscuits and gravy I've ever had ...seriously and literally!! And while I consider this a luxury, it was super cool that the food arrived within 10 minutes!!

We were served right away however our experience wasn't what we had hoped it would be. We were in the area and saw this place had a 4.4 star rating which is the only reason why we came here to eat. Let me start off by saying I will never eat here again or recommend it to anybody and here is the reason why: 1. The club sandwich meat was sub par + dry 2. The breakfast was over cooked & very dry 3. We had to ask for napkins + silverware after our food arrived 4. See picture glass of water Inside the restaurant, music was playing while the television mounted about 10 feet on the wall was playing the Dr. Phil show. There is outside dining, which look very inviting however, the whole food experience left a bad taste in my mouth no pun intended.

Best kept secret in West Sacramento! This place is absolutely amazing. The service is phenomenal and the food is incredible. I love their prices and can't say enough about how clean the restaurant is or how attentive the staff always are. I usually order the special with two eggs over easy, hash browns, sausage, and biscuits and gravy, it never disappoints. My husband loves their French toast. The coffee is always fresh and hot, too. I truly enjoy coming here with my loved ones. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and enjoyable every time. I recommend it to everyone! Just a heads up, your waitress won't bring the bill to the table; you'll walk up to the register to pay. We can't get enough of this place. It's definitely my favorite!

Always looking for a good breakfast burrito in town. If look on Serrano's Cafe, you won't see one on their menu, but you can actually request to change their omelet into a burrito! My man picked up two Miss n Browns as breakfast burritos. They had hash browns, mixed with ham, bacon, eggs, cheese, and sausage. They are thick and big! Definitely will fill you up. Really no complaints about it. It goes great with some hot sauce. I wouldn't mind coming here for dine in and trying their other options!

My Pop was craving a Reuben so I tasked him with finding a lunch spot for us. Yelp led him to Serrano's Cafe. We were hungry and left satisfied. We arrived at the restaurant an hour before closing. We sat outside since I brought my pup. The restaurant is a casual, hole-in-the-wall spot, not the cleanest though. Inside had some tables and outside had a few as well. We were one of the few customers, our waitress was sweet and did a good job juggling parties. Our food came out relatively fast. I love eggs and hash browns. So I enjoyed the Spice It Up Scrambled Eggs, No Cheese. The scramble wasn't spicy and I have a low spice tolerance. Good variety of ingredients and a hefty portion (took half to-go). It was comforting and did the job, but could've used more seasoning! The hash browns were thick and crispy. My Pop enjoyed his sandwich even though they were out of certain ingredients. Wanting a no-frills brunch or lunch spot? Serrano's Cafe is a great option in West Sacramento. They're located in a shopping plaza that has ample parking.

Full house at early lunch (11'sh) on Tuesday says it all. But still managed to get massive burrito for what others charge doubl, so easy to see why they're so popula.

There's a nice little park outside where you can sit outside and enjoy your lunch as well
    Thomas B.

We sat outside in the parklet. Our server was very, very nice. She had explained all the options to us on the menu and I went for the Reuben sandwich because they make their own in-house pastrami. Can't get better than that. It was moist and tasty just like it should be sliced nice and thin. Service was pretty fast and always with a smile. And the omelette that my daughter ordered was gorgeous. I would recommend eating here. And the price is very reasonable for what you get.

Pull up and this place looks like your childhood friend's house that grew up, got a little money, found peace and turned into a café . Super cozy, cool vibe and honestly just has personality to it. Walked in and instantly greeted by Elena and let me tell you... Elena wasn't taking orders she was basically an offensive coordinator drawing up plays for breakfast lol . I told her it was my first time and she goes "I got you." That's all I needed to hear. She hooked me up with the Berry Blossom Milk Tea, Ultra Violet iced coffee, blueberry muffin and the breakfast burrito with bacon and avocado. Now the drinks? Solid. That Ultra Violet coffee had lavender, caramel and honey all entering the chat at once like they were forming the Avengers . Somehow it worked. Then came the burrito... now listen... at first I'm sitting there like "alright everybody calm down it's just a breakfast burrito." WRONG. This thing came out throwing hands immediately eggs, potatoes, bacon, avocado all packed into this perfectly toasted tortilla. Then the salsa showed up like a surprise guest star and took the whole thing to another level. I almost looked around for somebody's grandma in the back yelling "make sure that boy leaves full!" Sat outside watching the A's game, drinking coffee, enjoying the breeze and honestly it was the perfect Sunday reset. Steve my brother... you absolutely crushed this recommendation

Unfortunately, the service didn't match my expectations. After waiting in line, the woman at the register finished helping the customer ahead of me, then walked away without acknowledging me. I stood there for a bit until a young man noticed and kindly stepped in to take my order. I really appreciated his attentiveness and friendliness. While waiting for my two hibiscus lychee green teas, I noticed some confusion behind the counter. The employee preparing the drinks couldn't find the green tea and had to keep asking the same woman for help. She eventually took over, but the drinks didn't taste right. There was no green tea flavor, or lychee only hibiscus (I'm not saying she didn't add it, it didn't taste like it.) Honestly, the bigger issue for me was the lack of customer service. The previous location I used to visit always felt welcoming, so this was disappointing. A simple acknowledgment like "I'll be right with you" would have gone a long way. That said, I DO want to give credit to the employee who stepped in and helped me--he was polite and attentive. As for the woman with short hair, I hope she works on her customer service approach. I may come back to try the ice cream since I think it's Gunther's and that's always a safe tasty choice, but I likely won't be ordering the iced teas again. March 18,2026 @6:58ish pm

The bread they used on the ham and cheese sandwich was really tasty and it really made the sandwich. The croissant I got ....the walnut croissant super tasty and probably one of the better croissants I've had in a while. The ratatouille which I didn't think would be a good for breakfast was super tasty. Super rich, but really nice. What I didn't like: it is straight up criminal that the two slices of bread were extra with that ratatouille. you absolutely need that for dipping. Go ahead and include it in the price, but there is no way in hell that should be extra. Ham was only half warmed but that's OK... It was fine and part of me is happy that someone didn't have to stick their finger inside my sandwich.

I ordered their date orange latte ($7), the twice hojicha ($7.50), and their simple avocado toast ($9). I had heard hojicha is a less grassy, more earthy/toasty version of matcha so I was excited to give it a try and see if I liked it more than matcha. Good news! Hojicha, at least the twice hojicha from Offbeat was delicious. I enjoyed the taste of tea and the aftertaste that matcha usually has for me wasn't there. I would 100% order this again. The date orange latte (iced) was also delicious and the flavors were perfect for our warm weather. The simple avocado toast had a thick piece of fresh baked bread with a generous layer of avocado on top. I don't frequently order avocado toast but it paired well with the drinks and is a great meal to start the day. I can see why this is a favorite for so many people and now that I've finally been in, I'll be back for more!
