First .. this was my third visit .. First was OK .. second was better third disaster. I had gotten a gel manicure and pedicure. First the tech started taking off my polish with the grinder (not wrapped foil and acetone as usual) I complained and said you are killing my nails you are going to make them super soft, she objected and said .. no .. real hard after ... Then she cuts my nails with a cuticle cutter .. I said what are you doing .. she shrugged her hands at me. At this point she can see I am very unhappy and she kept going. The pedicure was soooo bizarre that there isn't enough space to write about it. when I went to pay, manger owner said how was everything I said TERRRIBLE she said ok next time I will give you someone else... what ??!!! Very disappointing. Unfriendly and not welcoming to prospective customers . Manicure instruments were taken from a drawer seemingly not properly sterilized . One coat of polish as opposed to two that is offered in all other salons. Less than 24 hours later , polish is peeling off. The service seemed to be an imposition for the technician . Since I started getting acrylics I've been trying different nail salons and they always seemed to fall of in a week and would look beyond worn down. This place has by far been my best experience, just went in for my first fill in. All the other places I went to I wouldn't have been able to do a fill in as all my nails fell off by than. Well, I'm only giving it 3 stars thanks to the threading lady. She did a great job, and I'm gonna return. The place itself is very new and clean. I did mani and pedi today, and honestly it has been done unprofessionally. The nails came out cut unevenly with rough edges. I have fine nails, and the guy used rough coarse files damaging the nails. Gel nail polishing was done even worse. They did not apply primer or bond before applying base coat. Also they held my fingers in foil with polish remover for around 40 min. They are felling so irritated right now. The previous red color was left uncovered by the new mint color. It was fixed though after I asked for it. The color layer was applied to far from the cuticle. The top coat was applied unevenly with some gaps. Gel polish dripped on the sides of some nails. The guy removed excessive gel polish with his nail, this is so unprofessional. They have a decent collection of gel polish colors though. 1 day update. It chipped already read more

I went here for the first time and Sam did my nails. He was amazing and did truly quality work. I went there a 2nd time had a girl on the end of sams row was there for 2 hours her wiping off her work and restarting to receive uneven, poorly shaped nails. The 1st day after having them the thumb tip was broken off while I was at work and only noticed when the nail scratched up against me. The day after that while turning the key in my ignition to start my car, my middle finger nail broke in half along with my real nail which is pretty long already. After being in pain for a few days not having time to get them repaired due to me working, I called to make sure I could come in to get them repaired. The owner answered and told me that they do not guarantee nails and that they charge $3-$5 for each nail you want to get fixed he also assured me that no other salon would fix broken nails for free either, otherwise they would all go out of business because of people breaking off their nails and going to get them repaired... I called Snappy nail salon as I've gone there along with a friend of mine to get our broken nails repaired when one breaks for free. Do yourself a favor and don't go here, if you do go to sam otherwise your better off at Any of the other 6 nail salons on the Hillsboro and Powerline intersection. read more

This salon by far is the cleanest and most professional salon I have been to. I felt extremely safe. They have shields at each station and everyone wears a mask. My nails look fantastic. Nice place and nice workers but paid 45 for the luxury pedicure (most expensive one) and barely had my calluses scrubbed with the pumice. The orange scrub and the aloe scrub were nice but I didn't even receive a lotion massage after the vitamin mask. I went in for a gel manicure and then Nail Tech got a little file happy and filed my nails way too short and I was not happy so at that moment I asked to have tips put on and use nexgen. He seemed to get really agitated and got up from the table and another Nail Tech said she would fix it. The reason why it's getting two stars is because the nail job came out OK. But when it came time to paying instead of paying the $30 that I originally anticipated for my gel manicure, i assumed already Id be paying maybe $10 more for the nexgen. But to my surprise I was now charged $50. when I asked why I was told it because I got a $10 manicure by the guy before hand. Usually with a manicure you get a massage a hot towel and a complete filing and cuticle cut, this was not the case the manicure stopped as soon as he filed way too far and would not stop filing. So instead of including the work that had already been started and finishing the job I got charged for a service and a half and not by choice. I guess I'm not going to come back to this place anymore since they wanted to take advantage of the situation instead of acknowledging that the prior Nail Tech messed up and fixing the problem. Went in today and Nancy was my nail tech. Nancy did not change her gloves after working with her prior client, Nancy used dirty tools for my service. I made a request to use nail forms instead of nail tips for my service and Nancy didn't have nail forms, and I told her it was fine to go ahead and use tips. The entire time Nancy did my nails she talked about how nail forms take too long, nail forms aren't less harsh on the nail, nail forms are the same as tips, nail form aren't done anywhere anymore etc. Nancy's comments very very annoying as well as her lack of sanitary measures. Nancy did make several attempts to stop during the service and ensure that the acrylic thickness, shape and color/coats were to my liking and that was appreciated. Over all the experience was less than satisfactory and although my nails came out decent I will not be returning as I do not with to compromise sanitation for cosmetology. read more

It took them 30 minutes to start my mani pedi even though I had an appointment. Plan accordingly if you have a busy schedule. The woman rushed. Literally rushed. Through everything. Even forgot to file the nails on one hand. My nails look no different then when I walked in. I had no idea what I was even paying for. I got my brows done too. They had uneven lines and a lot of loose hairs left. I paid $40 for the three services. They took $5 off for having me wait at the beginning. Some people seem to love this place. However. I LOVE BT Nails. I moved here from Denver a year ago and have searched all over trying to find a nail salon like the 1 I went to in Denver. I do Nex Gen which surprisingly is not all that popular here or if they claim to do them, it's not to the calibre or price point I was accustomed to. That was until I found BT Nails. They are phenomenal and exactly what I have come to expect except at a cost that's less than what a lot of other salons I tried here and in Deerfield charged. I was able to get a full set of Nex Gen, a perfect pedicure, eyebrow wax AND tint for less than what I was being charged for nails/pedicure only at the last place I tried. And my eyebrows turned out amazing. It was my first time trying the tinting and I was nervous but it was super quick, painless and looked so good even my husband who usually never notices anything, commented all day after I got home about how great I looked!! Horrible nail salon! The place is cold and poorly lit. After scheduling an appointment and receiving a confirmation text, they acted like they did not expect me when I arrived. I bounced around to three different stations before I was waited on. I Went here based on Yelp reviews. Very Disappointing! The nail tech hardly spoke english so it was difficult communicating with her. It's annoying to have them all keep pushing me to get gel/next gen nails, which I did not want. The manicure and pedicure was sloppy at best. The Polish was unevenly applied and specked outside the nail bed, staining my skin and cuticle area. Once it dried, there were bumps on the polish. Her filing technique was pathetic and very rough, my skin was sanded leaving brush marks. I could have done a better job myself. Oh, and heads up, if you want to leave a tip you will have to pay cash or use Venmo or Apple Pay as you cannot include it with your service charge. At first I was excited to try a new place, staff was great, service was great.. but after just a day after service my polish on my hands and feet started to change color from a nice dark pink to a mild yellow. I thought at first maybe It was something I did since the change was gradually and on my hands first. But when I saw it happening on my toes there was no way I could have caused the issue I called the salon and explained what was happening. I was asked to come in and they would fix it for me. I waited over an hour to be seen even though I called ahead of time and the place was not very busy. While I was treated nicely on the first day, that day It felt like I was a bother. I had Nexgen done on my nails and the top coat was all bumpy and not shinny. the nail tech said she was having a bad day. I was nice about it. I guess it was the manager that took over and applied a new top coat. I was in the salon for 2 and a half hours. It was late and the manager rushed thru this. When I got home and really looked at my nails, they were not shinny and to the touch very rough. This is not the way to have a client leave your salon. I called and spoke to the manager and he asked me to come back in. At this point I had no desire to go back. I asked for a refund and was told that they do not GUARANTEE their work. I have never heard of such a thing from a nail salon. The guy got very nasty and was yelling. I would never set foot in this place again. The girl was nice but I had to show her what I was talking about for my top coat. If I would have not said anything she would have let me walk out like that. Turns out I did anyway. read more
