My ten year old nephew picked tonight's restaurant which was Bubba's 33. Come to find out this is his favorite place to go. So to draw the picture, we arrived on a Saturday night at 6:00 and there must have been 50 people waiting outside the door, my friends had put in for a table at 5:30 and had a 35 minute wait. My wife had the Bacon Guacamole Burger, loved the meat and guacamole along with the other ingredients but wasn't impressed with the bun. I had the 8 oz seasoned salmon, which was good and I choose two sides. Fire fries, which are spicy cajun like fries and steamed broccoli. The beer options were nice and the Stella on draft was cold. This really is a burger/streak place and I'm one of those rare people that's allergic to all red meat so my options are a little limited. Sports fans will find no shortage of televisions.....on any wall. Service was excellent, the place is large and all of the talk about this eatery being loud are TRUE. Really this place is loud. I had never heard of Bubba's 33 until last weekend. My dad wanted to take the family out to eat and he worked in Clarksville and had never been here, but did research on the place at work. He had signed us up for the MVIP (but we couldn't actually make a reservation). He called ahead and said we would have a party of nine. We get to the restaurant, he tells us that they're splitting us up because they don't have a table to accommodate all of us...fine. We still had to wait about 20 minutes once we arrived. We get seated in two booths across from each other. It's a sports bar so there's music and conversation, but it's a little loud. The chicken sandwich was okay (hard to cut), but the side salad was AMAZING! Word of warning, tread carefully with dessert. Stay away from the Turtle Mud Pie was REALLY hard to cut into and eat! The manager said it was her least favorite dessert on the menu. Overall, I would say I'd go back, but it wouldn't be the first place I would mention to people. read more

Great experience here for the whole family! Our server Bri was amazing! My daughter had the kids pizza & it was better than any chain delivery pizza, the dough was noticeably fresh! I would go back & order a large version any day! My wife had a steak that was delicious & my son had a burger that was fabulous. I had a grilled chicken salad that was just ok but I would not order it again. Fortunately I was able taste everything else on the table & we will be back. We have family in town and figured we will try them out. We had 8 in party 4 adult and 4 kids. They set up at separate booths. Place not setup for party over 5 I guess or just didn't offer it. Waiter was terrible and didn't check in. Brought food for adult table but failed to bring kids table for over 5 minutes. We had to ask a passing waitress to please check on it. We so 3 different waitress for refills and got different items. Waited 15 minutes to get check after done. They came incorrect and couldn't find waiter again. So ask another waitress for help. Food was so salty. Everything but the salad. Kids even commented that was overly salty. Very disappointed in local place being so bad. Service was horrible other then waitress that tried to help. I came with a group of 7 for dinner, and despite being very busy, we were seated quickly. This is where the positive experience ended. After placing our orders, the appetizers and drinks came fairly quickly, but we had to wait for quite a bit, and then when it came, only 4 of 7 of us got our food, and my pizza was burnt. The server who brought our food did not acknowledge that half our party was missing their food, and it took almost 10 minutes before our waiter came and we explained what was wrong, and then it was another 10 minutes before the manager and waitress informed us that the orders were never put in. We then had to wait for another another 15 minutes for the food to come out. Then, despite me saying I didn't want a replacement pizza, they brought one anyway. I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed this place. I really try to avoid large corporate chains nowadays, but there was a lot of hype about this place and I wanted to give it a fair chance. It's very kid-friendly, tons of people were bringing their kids here. Also, TVs surround the walls with every major sport that is currently on. I don't have kids and I'm not a sports person whatsoever, so I guess you could say the atmosphere wasn't tailored towards me, but I knew what I was getting into. First I was impressed by the service. When the server asked if it was our first time here and we said yes, she spent a little extra time explaining the menu and everyone seemed extra friendly. I think the receipt even said something like "use extra care" or something. The only thing that worries me is that will the service be the same once you say it's not your first time? Second of course, was the food. It was better than I expected. The burger I got was just really juicy and flavorful. Mine didn't have the 33% bacon ground in (Blackened Bleu Burger) but had bacon on it. So, I'm still curious about the 33% bacon burgers. The fries were thin, shoestring-style which is fine but I thought they were extremely salty. I was brushing salt off of them before eating them. Cane with a group of about 15 people, they were called ahead of time to place our reservation. We had to sit at two tables back to back so we didnt even see half our party. Even then it would have only sat about 10 comfortably so all the kids were sitting on laps. The food was just meh. I didn't hate or love my food. Overpriced for what it was and honestly would never order again. I tried some of the food that the other people had, also just okay. Maybe I haven't found the thing I love there yet, but I can say I'm not sure what the hype of this place is. It was loud, like we couldn't really talk to the people at our table loud. Habanero Heat! We typically eat at the bar because the service is extremely fast there. My husband and I usually split the Chicken Tender dinner that comes with two sides and it is more than enough for us. The beers are Ice Cold! My husband enjoyed the pizza more than me. The menu can't even tell you exactly what the "33" in Bubba's 33 is, but my guess is it's the number of TVs here. THEY ARE EVERYWHERE. Which is great, if that's what you're here for. I heard rave reviews about the burgers and how they were made with bacon in the patty, so that was a top priority for me. Unfortunately, my burger tasted a little charred (I ordered it medium), so it didn't seem to have much flavor aside from "burned". The Bubba's sauce was really good but the fries and the onion rings were the winners of the meal. And that's great! Except this is a burger place and I really wanted a good burger. The pizza lacks sauce and flavor. Basically, cheese toppings and a chewy thin crust. If you want pizza, go to a pizza place and pass on Bubbas. First visit from some "Out of Towners" on Easter Sunday and we had a blast!!! While business was slow they wait staff passed the time playing Tag. It was fun watching and then being included in the fun! Oliver (Justin) was one of the best servers to be had! The burgers were good but the fries were my favorite part!!! We were shopping across the River and needed some dinner. Bubba's 33 was close by so we decided to give it a try. It was crazy busy but open seating in the bar allowed us to find a seat pretty quickly. We sat down and ordered drinks and viewed the menu. I ended up choosing the Bacon Chicken Mac-N-Cheese and my friend chose the Chicken Nachos. When the food arrived, we were pleasantly surprised at the size of the entrees. I was hungry but not that hungry! The flavor and temperature of my food was hot and yummy. Her nachos were piled high and she dug right in and didn't stop till all gone. I had to take half of mine to go and looked forward to eating the rest for lunch/dinner the next day. This isn't my first time to Bubba's 33 and won't be my last, Lord willing and the creek don't rise. Whoever I am with at Bubba's agrees the food is FABULOUS. I have tried many, if not most, of the items they offer. On this occasion I went with chicken tenders, tater tots, cole slaw and a half order of onion rings which I shared with the other half of my party. My friend had the Espresso marinated steak, broccoli and cole slaw. That steak though!!! It looked like the BEST steak I ever saw with the grill marks and just glistening and daring me to try it. My friend asked me if I wanted a bite and I said, yes, just give me a little taste. WOW!!! My next visit to Bubba's will be the Espresso marinated steak. It is unbelievably gooood. Everything I ordered was perfect as it always is. I especially want to mention the onion rings. These are some of the absolute BEST. Some places serve onion rings, but not so good. Bubba's rings are arguably an award winner. The chicken tenders are perfect texture and taste with very nice sauces if you like that. Their Cole slaw is one of the best I have had anywhere and who doesn't like tater tots. I had a delicious lemonade or tea this time which I think was mango flavored. The manager, Tabitha, knew my friend pretty well and asked if I ever tried the candied bacon. I told her I haven't but heard it is like crack. She brought me a sample which was just enough to agree what I heard. It is VERY thick sliced bacon with a coating of something you want more of. Bubba's has my strongest 5 rating as it is a place you will want to come back to till you have sampled ALL their items. I have previously dined on burgers, pizza, shrimp and potatoes, ALL of which were highest quality. Bubba's is in the same family as Texas Roadhouse and you will notice they both are moving a great deal of people every day and night. There is a lot of seating and a lot of workers to take care of the crowd. You don't have a packed restaurant night after night for years without doing what is great. Give Bubba's 33 a try. I come here at least 2 times week and have never had problems with drinks. This bartender Kennedy is the worst bartender east of the Mississippi. She messed up 2 of their signature brunch drinks as well as a margarita. My drinks and others I saw were 3/4 of the way filled up. Since I have arrived here I have seen over 10 drinks get sent back other than mine. She isn't even pouring the beers correctly. She also is digging her fingers into garnishes and fruits for the drinks with no gloves on nor was she washing her hands. Also she is more worried about her phone than the quality of drinks or the uncleanliness of things she touched after touching her phone. Probably will never come up for brunch again and I suggest if you do come for brunch don't order any drinks if she is behind the bar. Bring Josh back for brunch. read more
