Came by to try this place since my friend really loves it here. They have live music most days except Sundays and Mondays, so it was pretty quiet while we sat inside on a Monday. Can't remember my servers name but she was probably one of the best servers I've ever had! She really took the time to explain the menu, talking about how fresh the ingredients were and how everything is made in house. They do change up the menu, like tacos served only on Tuesday's. We shared the Thai chicken skewers to start. Very good! Our server really talked up the pastas since the sauces are excellent. So we had to order the Alfredo with shrimp and shared the pepperoni pizza with pesto on the side. The pizza wasn't greasy at all and you could tell the pepp and the pesto were made fresh. Even the Alfredo had such a nice creamy flavor. The menu didn't appeal to me when I first tried it years ago but after having someone explain it, I really appreciated the effort they put into their food. I recently discovered this little gem off Brownsboro Rd and have been twice now for brunch. This most recent visit was with a group of girlfriends around 1:30 on a Sunday and was surprised it was still pretty busy. Mikayla was our server and even though she was busy and had some needy tables she was awesome and very attentive. We started with drinks ... the espresso martinis were had .... as well a a few apps. The baked brie (bourbon maple syrup, red wine, pear jam, Crostini) was absolutely phenomenal. I mean hands down one of the best bries I've had to date. We also got the calamari and it was good but there was nothing special about it. They have a wood burning pizza oven, which the best way to cook a pizza, so I had to ordered a pizza and got the pepperoni and it was absolutely delicious! Next time I wasn't to try the breakfast pizza! But I also want to go back for dinner and try some other menu items that I see featured on insta. read more

So we went to Noosh Nosh today for lunch. We'd never been there before and we have to say we will definitely be back! Service was very good, with the server helping my wife by moving a chair so she could sit at the table in her wheelchair and making sure we had plenty of drinks. She ordered the vegan pizza with gluten free crust and I ordered the Thai chicken skewers with peanut sauce. Those who know anything about gluten free pizza know that the crust is unforgiving when it comes to cook times. This was a great pizza. My wife absolutely loved it and so did I. The chicken skewers were cooked and well seasoned and the peanut sauce was delicious! The ambiance was really laid back, with two flat screens showing some of the Women's basketball tournaments going on in the country. It's a very simple layout for the restaurant and I think it works for them. I will note that the only concern I had was that to get to a ramp for my wife's wheelchair required us to go six stores away then back each way. Probably need to work on getting more handicap accessible ramp spots. read more

Wife and I sat at the bar for dinner on our regular Thursday date night, where we pick a different place every week. Tonight's special was Lasagna with garlic bread which she got, and I had a Chicken Tikka Pizza. Not a big fan of Indian food but wanted to try something different. Pizza was fresh, cheesy, great flavor and the scratch-made crust is fantastic. She said the lasagna was maybe the best she's ever had. We really enjoyed the visit for a late Saturday lunch. Several of our party of 5 ordered fish and chips and raved about the quality and quantity of their dish and boxed 1/2 to take home. I ordered the Cobb salad with the addition of blackened chicken, as it does not come with the protein ingredient as a standard. There are also options to add salmon or shrimp, which sounds like an interesting twist. My salad was fresh and delicious with the expected blue cheese, bacon, hard boiled egg, and avocado on a bed of crunchy chopped romaine. Service was great and food orders were all fulfilled quickly. Seating is comfortable. Noise level was mild while we were there in the early afternoon and large screen TVs were tuned in to football broadcasts. I follow the DateListLou Instagram page for date and dining ideas and they did a video recently raving about this restaurant. I'm glad u saved the video because this place is AMAZING. There were so many things on the menu that I wanted to try but after our waiter described the steak special, I had to order it. This was a ribeye on a balsamic glaze topped with chimichurri sauce with roasted carrots and cauliflower on the side. I loved every bite. Our waiter was friendly and attentive and we felt very welcomed. I loved the casual vibes with the affordable prices with top notch food. I'll definitely be back to try more dishes! read more

I stopped in for a pre-rehearsal meal and drink (or two). Traffic is crazy these days, especially near this spot with the VA hospital construction and highway projects...so I, having the ability and time, took a different way to Noosh Nosh and got there early, while my dining companion got caught in all of it and ended up being a little late. Not a big deal for us. But it seemed that the staff did not want to serve me more than an initial water before she arrived. Even when I told then I planned on getting a drink while I waited. But getting anyone to return to the table, let alone look at me to get their attention to call them over...a surprising struggle. And the place was empty! It wasn't like they couldn't see me. To say the least, I was frustrated and a bit cranky about it. Eventually, I also had to order for both myself and my friend before she got there because traffic made our time become crunched...and again, I struggled with getting a server to acknowledge me and come over. I ordered for us and the food was delivered moments before my friend arrived. I got the goat cheese dip appetizer and it was fine. I had hoped for more cheese so it would be more of a spready-dip than a soggy tomato wetness with little bits of cheese. But it was fine. My first cocktail, a lavender lemon drop was really good. The sugar rim was minimal enough to seem pointless except to make your glass and fingers a little sticky...but I get the concept for it. Service was, slow, uninformed, and incompetent. Food was bad. Fish and chips - the fish was mushy. Homemade chips were stale and old. Manager never came to the table, even when the staff said there were issues. Not looking for a free lunch, just trying to help them return to the quality before the place was sold. I have heard a lot about this place. This time I finally get to stop by since they are doing pizza week. Before I order pizza. I was curious and looking over the menu. Second time visitor here , first time was amazing , Second time was even better and there was a year gap between the two times i've been and both have been outstanding! Service is great,very attentive,refill on drinks are good. Now the food... I think I could honestly eat a gazillion of those little chicken kabobs covered in the peanut butter sauce and I paired it with a half Cesar salad (sub kale for romaine lettuce) and my taste buds were so happy . I was meeting some friends for a Saturday morning breakfast. There were 4 of us. Honestly not sure what to say. It was underwhelming. The menu is not detailed. Options are few. I ordered eggs Benedict and so did my friend. I said "no runny whites. It's ok if the yolk cooks a little, just don't want the whites runny". It came out hard boiled. Not exactly what i was expecting. The problem was that my friends came out exactly the same way. She did not order anything specific. So we had to send that back and we were finished when her breakfast got remade. The hollandaise tasted strongly of vinegar. The house potatoes were fried leftover baked potatoes. We made a reservation for two for a birthday celebration, when we arrived right at our reservation time we were informed that a table was not ready. We decided to go to the bar for a drink. We waited for maybe 10-15 minutes and were seated (not a big deal) we decided to get an appetizer to start and a pizza for dinner. The appetizer and dinner arrived within 5 minutes of each other. Louisville sets a high bar for any restaurant competing in the comfort food space. So many great choices in a city known for its hospitality can result in some unheralded gems. Noosh nosh might be that sort of place, tucked in a suburban strip mall, with funky decor, a dineresque counter and a huge wood fired pizza oven in the center of what might have been a cafeteria at one time is warm and charming. The menu is a small book- usually a red flag for me (is hard to do many things well at once in the restaurant biz)---is a little odd that other reviews claim their menu is small or limited--but is clear their focus is breakfast/brunch/comfort food lunch. Our server was a delight- she was personable and charming with time for small talk, an authentic promotion of the best of the menu. One nice touch was she made sure to note that there are lots of options for customizing or optimizing your order. I ended up ordering a pizza special (I didn't come there to order a pizza, but was sold on the description). The pizza menu is, unconventional- I had a special artichoke with chicken peppers and a pesto sauce on a surpisingly light and crisp wood fired crust. Louisville has lots of great pizza options and I don't really go for pizza for lunch but this was perfect- and half left over for 10 lousy bucks. In a city with an embarrassment of dining options was glad to find this hidden gem with absolutely stellar service. read more

Walked in and was pleasantly surprised to be welcomed by some live music and a practically empty restaurant. Met up with a couple friends to check out Noosh Nosh. Neither of them had been and it's been a while since I've been there. All I remembered was that their pizza was great. So upon my recommendation we ordered a pizza and a salad. The salad was fine, typical cesaer, nothing to write home about. The pizza was also fine, very cheesy and decent pepperonis. My favorite thing was probably my mocktail, Jill, a strawberry rhubarb ginger soda drink. Anyway I won't be running back but I am interested in trying breakfast. read more

Placed a delivery order through the Noosh Nosh website. Received a notice that it was delivered a short time later, but it was not there. I called store right away to see if they could contact the driver or get a photo of the delivery on porch, but he said he could do neither. He said to go online and ask for a refund through the website. I tried, but my email confirmation said to contact the store if any problems with order. I called the store back and was asked if I had contacted Door Dash, I stated once again I placed the order through the Noosh Nosh website. He said he would try to give me a refund, but if it didn't show up to call store next day. Would have been better off placing order through door dash bc could have atleast been refunded right away. read more

First time in for lunch, and I was looking forward to it. Went to sit at the bar since I was solo, and was promptly ignored while the bartender made coffee drinks and talked to an employee who was not working. After 5 minutes I went back to the hostess stand and asked a server if I could sit at a table. She took me to one, I ordered a beverage, and she waited for him to serve another table and he still didn't pour my drink, another 5 minutes. I left. Feel for the server but that bartender isn't good for business. Met a co-worker friend here for dinner just after 5 p.m. She had never eaten here nor ever tried Brie and found it to be absolutely heavenly! We shared the Brie, the Brussel Sprouts, and then the waiter encouraged the lasagna special of the night. He also said they have a real Italian chef, so yep, add on the lasagna and salad to share! I was expecting above normal lasagna but oh my foodie goodness... you all... get here the next time it's lasagna special night. Apparently this is the Thursday special! Drop your other plans, this IS a food lover event in itself! We appreciated that they plated 1/2 for us and brought ours each in its own warm clay bowl and salad bowl. The amount of perfectly gooey melted cheese and homemade sauce drew us in immediately. Then the warm crispy yet chewy and perfectly seasoned homemade focaccia bread slice, I've told 5 people about this just in the short time since I drove home! The shared portions were more than plentiful servings and just absolute wow level from first bite to the last. Top notch service also! Cute restaurant, in a strip mall with plenty of parking. Service was ok, nothing stellar but the food was outstanding. I went here because I read they had good vegan options, which were well marked on the menu, which they do, I just wish there were more of them. My cousin who is vegan ordered a Bloody Mary and even asked about the garnish and they brought something out with bacon and salami so beware and if you have dietary restrictions be very specific. We tried the black bean cakes which were phenomenal, also the tomato soup which was $8 for a small portion but delicious. The mocktails on the menu were a nice surprise and very tasty.
