First time at Bubba's the other night on a Saturday, and I was actually pleasantly surprised. Lots of parking (lots of peeps in the parking lot), and we were sat in a booth right away. The décor is bright, almost neon and full of flat screen TVs. Comfy, high energy, laid back yet professional -- I like the vibe. Our EXCELLENT waitress (honestly best one I've had the pleasure of meeting in the last year+), Rachel, was incredibly fast, friendly and gave us a great introduction to Bubba's. She even offered to change channels for us if we wanted to watch a specific game, but we ended up getting sucked in by ChiveTV. She told us her faves and recommended burgers, the Baco Avo Sandwich, wings or pizza. Since I had just had pizza recently, we decided to share a Bacon Guac Burger (oooomg so good -- double patty too), 12 wings (parm garlic + mild -- would def try the hot next time, but both were flavorful and we ate them so fast!), Cajun fries (that came with the burger -- fresh, crispy string fries, yes!) and a side salad with a delish basil lemon vinaigrette. I highly recommend all of these items. We cleaned up quick, nothing to take home. A little pricey, but I would definitely come back. If I could, I would ask for Rachel every time. In the post COVID-19 world, it's important that you call the restaurant to her to find out their protocol. As mentioned in a previous review, you need to call ahead and make a reservation for seating. If you don't you're gonna be waiting a while. Also, please remember to wear a mask before you're seated. You can take it off once you get to the table. But before that you need to wear one. I called the restaurant less than an hour before we wanted to be there. We were able to get a 6 PM table. We waited only a few minutes to get seated. We were given three options when we called to make a reservation to either sit indoors, outdoors, or the first available. I selected the first available and got a table at my desired time. Our waiter was fantastic he was really friendly and helpful. He suggested some great drinks that we both really enjoyed. Our food was very good. My friend had Stromboli and I had a salmon salad. The salmon was dry and a little overcooked. However, the rest of the salad was fine. The waiter was able to get me a small dessert at the end. And I really appreciated that. Based on the hospitality and the service, I would recommend this place. I will definitely be back. read more

We saw a special on Facebook for Memorial Day where you could order a burger kit to grill at home- this ended up being magical- the bacon burgers on fresh yummy buns were truly delicious! We thought it was such a fun idea during the pandemic. We also ordered their steaks and baked potatoes to grill at home and they were good too! We decided to visit and order to go to try them again, but ended up really disappointed. The service was great and the staff seemed to be having fun with the ordering table and pick up spots. They even asked us if we wanted to check our order to make sure it was correct before we drove away which I really appreciated. But the food (burgers especially) was incredibly soggy and just no where as good as when we had made it for ourselves at home- we were really surprised. We had heard good things about the fried pickles but even when we tried them in the parking lot (instead of waiting until we got home) they were very soggy and falling apart. The best part of the meal were the garlic knots! We won't order to go again- we'll try dining in or ordering a kit to grill at home if they offer it again. read more

The manager there Katie is a very short and blunt person. She is impossible to deal with and I have seen her personally lashing out on employees and in turn making employees very tense and uncomfortable. The Employees make Bubbas a home, the servers, the bussers, and the hostesses. The people that WORK THERE make Bubbas a welcoming place and a loving place to come to with family and friends so to see employees disrespected and thrown off is a disservice to the company and the overall mood that Bubbas tries to give off. read more

I'll be honest, I've never been here or to any of Bubba's 33 locations before. I didn't even know it was a chain. Let me tell you what drew me in...the parking lot is always full. It's full every night, and when trying to be the first person at Costco on a Sunday morning I drove past here to a full parking lot again. I thought, wow folks drink early around these parts - turns out they do brunch. After finding my parking place. On my way home from Costco (talk about impulse), I stopped by for lunch. If you're a dude and want a sports bar, this is it. There are 73 tv's in this place. I'll repeat that in case it was missed, there are 73 televisions showing every type of game you could imagine. They have 2 different bar areas (a louder side glassed in and a quieter version). There was also a channel with people doing blooper type stuff so kids could even have a laugh. I ordered mozzarella sticks and a stromboli. The cheese sticks were wiggled. I've never seen that before. I can't say if they did them themselves, or have some sneaky vendor that does it, either way it's unique. Of my whole experience, the stromboli was my struggle. I don't believe it to be an actual stromboli. A main difference between it and a calzone, it 1- how it's shaped, but 2- stromboli is usually rolled inside. This had the shape, but not the rolled part and the temperature was warm at best and not hot. Additionally, the flavor was just ok. Nothing popped and made you really want to have it again. There are ton's of menu items, like anything you can dream up. All of these people can't be wrong about a place. I will definitely be back and just try a different item next time. Apparently, they have a location in Aurora as well if you find that to be closer and want to give them a try. read more

Typical burger joint. My husband and I decided to go for a date night. Maybe not the best spot for a date, the tvs and music were so loud and tvs everywhere where very distracting. Very hard to talk to each other. We both got burgers, they were good but nothing special, a burger is a burger I guess. I got a bubba blue lemonade which I decided was just blue.. lemonade.. no other flavor. The 4 stars is really for the service, it was pretty exceptional. We came in on a Saturday night and it was super busy, but they somehow managed to seat us and take care of us promptly. They checked on us a lot and made sure we had (free) refills. Have been to this Bubbas probably no less than 20 times and food and service is always been above average. Went there last night and was less than pleased with the service and the food. Serve took out drink orders (ice tea and coffee) did not bring straws, sugar or creamer. Took her about 10 minute to return with those items. Took 35 minutes just to take our order. My wife ordered a dish that come with chicken and shrimp in it and the dish was delivered with no shrimp in it. There were several young ladies just standing around at the entrance not sure what there job was but they were not busy so don't think it would take 5 people to seat guest. We normally have one of the management team stop by the table to see how service and food is but they didn't happen either. Husband and I decided to come here for a date night after painting at Color me Mine. Got good reviews in here and it was close by, so why not and give it a try. Walking in you can a feeling of retro dining with TV's all around and retro booths and tables. We were greeted right away and asked if we wanted patio or first available seating. We chose first available. We were seated in a booth near a large group who had a few kids with them. Normally I would have asked to be seated away from them but I was too hungry to not ask. Pros: Booths are pretty spacious and the table isn't right up next to your chest like most restaurant booths. That's a huge plus. We ordered the shotgun shrimp that supposedly had a spicy cream sauce but there wasn't any heat and yes I could have had 3 more orders of it. It was that good. Husband chose the Santa Fe burger and he liked it and would have it again. I ordered the sunshine burger and it was ok. One cool thing that amazed both of us was how the table across from us was like a leaf table. Meaning the waitress would take off the top off the end and push in the bar to make it a normal booth. Our waiter was great while checking in normally. Almost too much, but eh thats only a minor. The busser that we saw was tired but in good spirits and even made small talk with us. I had an issue with my burger and made it a priority to fix which came out from right off the grill. Cons: This place can be overwhelming with everything going on. Not a place for people who have sensitivity to sounds. My husband who has ADHD became overwhelmed and that's saying a lot. Our drinks and food was slow to come out even with not being busy. My burger, the sunshine was half well done and half medium rare. Had to send it back. When we were being seated the hostess tried to explain to my husband, but with her back to us and the loud environment he didn't catch a word. But our waiter explained it. Another con is the American cheese tasted like the cheapest version you can buy. I would have expected more and better cheese. It was probably Kraft, which isn't bad, but seems they could have done much better. Recommended? Yes we would still recommend but not for the environment but to have good food. Always seems to be a long wait but they have plenty of staff to accommodate the crowd, this is a very loud place but that's ok because it's a sports bar, great place to watch any game. This is our 3rd visit to Bubba's & it never disappoints. This time I decided I would climb out of my box & ordered Fish & Chips. I'm "weird" about eating fish out, but their menu stated Sam Adams beer battered Alaskan Cod...how could it not be good. It was ON POINT. Best I've had & their tartar sauce was also delicious. Highly recommended for those who are iffy when ordering fish out. The picture was missing 3 small pieces of fish. Very decent sized portions! Will definitely be back!!! read more

Disappointed. The place is nice, but the music is way too loud, we couldn't hear each other talking from across the table. The service was ok, but the ribeye I ordered was not a ribeye, it tasted disgusting and I went home with food poisoning that I'm still having after 2 days dining there. Now I'm freaking scared of returning; in fact I don't think I will. I enjoyed this place in Arizona that when I got back home today, I went to the one in Colorado Springs. The food and atmosphere is great. Great place for any occasion in my opinion. Today I ordered a alcoholic drink, which I couldn't do yesterday at the Arizona location due to me having to get on the road back to Colorado... I ordered the mango frozen margarita with the shotgun shrimp as a appetizer. For my entree I ordered their prime ribeye steak with garlic mashed potatoes with gravy and a side salad. My son had their hot dog with fries and a sprite. I enjoyed the shotgun shrimp, probably my favorite thing on the menu as I ordered it twice in two days, haha... the margarita was great, no complaints from me. Now the Steak, I am far from a steak eater, just not a big fan, yet I wanted something different, the steak was cooked medium well and tasted great, just melted in your mouth, from the grill marks to the Starbucks expresso blend that it was marinated in. This is surprising (for a sports bar type restaurant) but I think that the salads are totally top notch. They're always soooooo fresh and crunchy, dressings are delicious and flavorful, and meat is great on top. They're also huge, which is so nice when you get a salad as a meal. This was our first time watching football at a restaurant after moving back to the States from Germany and we didn't want to go the Buffalo Wild Wings route. This place kept getting recommended over and over and I'm glad we decided to go! Our waitress, Kylie, was attentive and personable and didn't mind that we were there for an entire football game! We tried the fried pickles, regular wings, boneless wings and my son got two (!) helpings of the mac & cheese. Both of us agreed the wings weren't very hot (he ordered Cajun dry rub and mild, I got the hot and teriyaki) so just know that going in if you can handle heat, you could probably get the hottest ones on the menu. We didn't lack for a TV in the regular seating area and appreciated that. Good drink specials, good food from what we've tried so far and both agreed we would be back to watch more! My last couple visits have been questionable. Two visits ago I asked for my mushroom burger to be cooked medium and it was just above raw. Very wet with fat and very pink. I chalked it up as a bad night. BUT when it happens twice in a row? It's time to revise my review. On this night it wasn't super busy. I ordered a blackened bleu burger. It was so overwhelmingly salty and dripping grease. The bottom half of the bun completely disintegrated in it. Soaked through the paper, artery clogging, drowning in it. It was the gift that kept giving because it left me with a greasy stomach ache and thirsty all night to get the salt out of my system. Tums to the rescue. One of my friends fish and chips was equally drowning in grease. Our third friend is on the keto diet, so she likes high fat content, but the other two of us... Not so much. The wedge salad was tasty however completely drowning in dressing. Have a little lettuce with your dressing? I would ask that they put the dressing on the side in the future. On the plus side, the fried pickles were total awesomeness. Crispy, tart, fresh out of the fryer hot. Little slices of heaven. I liked them as much as I like their shotgun shrimp. I used to think their burgers were some of the best in town, but unless they fix whatever has been going on in the kitchen recently, this won't be my go to spot for a great burger anymore.
