We came from Louisiana to visit some friends and this was the first place they took us. The service was fantastic! She was so fun and seemed to really love her job. Food was also really good, the salmon and rice were to die for! The ambience was really fit the vibe of the restaurant. I really enjoyed the $4 margaritas, they were sweet, refreshing and set you up for a good time. My experience here was phenomenal and if I find myself in the area again this will be one of my first stops! 10/10! read more

Ok this is the third time my wife and I have went here. The food is always on point. But the service sucked. We sat there for 20 minutes before our waiter came to take our drink order. Then took another 10 minutes to bring them out. He forgot my lemon for my tea. We had to wait 10 to 15 minutes for him to come take our order and see if we needed refills. We were very excited to try this restaurant it just opened and new to us. We loved the atmosphere and the service was good but the food really lacked. We ordered an appetizer of Fried Pickles which I think was the best of the night. The nachos were dry burnt and overcooked mostly Luke warm. The burger was good... decent but 5 Guys would have been better. The Chicken Wings were not buffalo as we were told. over all we were disappointed and probably will not go back. Wanted to try something different. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with a friendly smile and welcome. Loved the legs bar stools in the bar area. We ordered fried pickles which was more than the three of us could eat. The food came out quickly and our drinks were never empty. Went to Bubbas for the first time tonight. Had a four year old a vegetarian we were trying to please. This place had a little something for everyone. Had their homemade onion rings for an appetizer they were fantastic. A definitely must try is the blackberry lemonade...made with real blackberries. Yum! It was the best service I have had at a restaurant in a very long time, my drink was replaced before it was half empty. The place was packed and we still received our food quickly. My sons kids meal was only six dollars...including drink. The manager even stopped by to make sure we were enjoying our time and asked if he could get anything for us. They even had a booth set up outside to benefit our military and police. I can't say enough good things. Definitely check them out. read more

This is a nice restaurant but could do a better job of seating customers. We were there recently and the hosts just stood around and talked with one another for several minutes without seating us promptly. We were the only ones waiting so this was kind of awkward. However, our server was very nice and did her job well. One of our orders was late coming out but it was not that big of deal and I'd suggest going lighter on the salt. First time trying Bubbas 33. We had no wait at all. Our meals arrived very fast and our waitress was very attentive to drinks/ refills, etc. Our family tried the habanero burger, kid's pepperoni pizza, garlic knots and the big salad. All of our food was SO GOOD! I didn't have high expectations since the menu is so big. I was pleasantly surprised! The only thing we didn't care for was the music- WAY TOO LOUD. We couldn't hear each other talk across the table. Also too many screens... all on something different which makes for unpleasant eating experience. Waited 40 minutes to have our party of 7 seated. Were given a booth that could seat 6 max. The server brought a bar stool the height of the table to seat one of us at the end of the booth. We asked for a chair with a back. We were brought another bar stool with a back. This was also the height of the table. Not seeing how we could eat perched atop that stool, and unwilling to be stuffed in a booth with no room to eat, we left. The service was very good. The cheeseburger was delicious, though be aware the upcharge for pepper Jack cheese is a $1.00. The fries were hot. I know we are not the only ones to have an issue with that. But now. There appears to be very little to no seating for those with disabilities, using a wheelchair especially!!! This is appalling for the year 2023 & Bubba's 33 should address this immediately. Booths are everywhere; tables, no. This restaurant opened about a year ago here in Evansville, Indiana. On weekends, which we avoid, it does not look as busy as it did last year. As I noted above, the cheeseburgers are excellent. My friend was pleased with her ribeye. I know there have been some menu changes in the past year, but the music level, & the availability of handicap seating needs to change ASAP. The pizza, well, I just will not order again. We are on the hunt for the best Pizza in Evansville and decided to give Bubba's a try. Not being a fan of "thin crust" or "cracker crust", we opted for their "Dickie V". The crust was pleasant and we loved the garlic BUT the rest of the pizza was a COMPLETE dissapointment. Insufficient sauce, cheese, and sausage. This pizza is more on the line of Cici's and will NOT be chosen again. Definetly NOT worth the $14 we paid for this sorry excuse of a pizza. I would highly recommend they up their game. read more

When first being waited on at the hostess desk they asked if our party could be split up. After our wait to be seated the girl (long lashes and glasses) that was to be seating us said nothing to us. Our seat was wet and when we asked for something to wipe it up the hostess never said anything and just walked away. Our waitress (Demariyona M) had no enthusiasm. When we asked questions about items on the menu she said, "I don't know. I don't eat that. People order it." When taking my child to the restroom the floors were wet. Not sure if it was urine or just water. If Evansville plans to keep this establishment open, the staff needs to work on their customer service skills. This was not a good first impression. I used to love this place. It was my go to place for dinner with my wife. But the last 2 visits it has been less than good. They revamped their menu and took off my favorite dish - okay I get that. So I tried something else. I got the fish and chips and it just wasn't good. The following week, we went back and I got my 2nd favorite thing, the crispy chicken salad - I get the chicken rolled in mild buffalo sauce. The salads are normally very filling and have plenty of toppings. This time there was 6 pieces of dried out chicken with a drizzle of buffalo sauce, a small pinch of cheese, same with the hard boiled egg, carrots and the crunchy topping they put on it. The lettuce itself was all core pieces and it was barely enough to fill the bottom of the plate. It was just very disappointing. Our waitress was very nice and fast and I didn't say anything, but I don't know when I'll be back again. read more

We have been there twice, the first time at soft opening. The food was just okay, but what was really bad, was the music level. I could hardly wait to get out of there Because it was so terribly loud. When someone came around and ask us how everything was, we mentioned the loud music. She said she could turn that down when she did the TVs went out and when she got everything back on the music level was still the same. We went back again last week with friends, I had fish and chips and it was very good but even though the music wasn't quite as loud as it was the first time, it was still annoying. My son and family were there yesterday and they also said the music was too loud and they complained to their waitress about the loud music, and the waitress said yeah, we hear that a lot. Bartender was accommodating and helpful. Put on the ballgame I was looking for. Good cold draft beer. Ordered a large pizza with Sausage. Problem was, hardly any sausage. The manger said that the toppings were weighed in the kitchen. I asked that she look at my pizza and if she was ok with the fact that some of the slices had zero sausage, with most slices having one to two pieces of sausage. She saw no problem and was glad to dismiss me. The bartender felt bad, said that the manager should not have handled a customer the way she did and went through the trouble of having the cook make more sausage to add to my pizza. Went there and there was a huge wait. The thing of it was that there were tables that were free for 30 minutes that weren't being used. I don't understand that. The music was too loud to try to have a conversation across the table. They have many fry options, but it would be nice if they had just a plain french fry available. Stopped in for dinner with the family. Exactly what you'd expect for a place like this. Basically doing a little bit of everything. So nothing really specialty going on. Food took awhile even though they weren't very busy. Then the food comes out cold. We didn't complain, because it took long enough to get out of there when that's all we were trying to do. Hours later I was very sick to my stomach. I was vomitting oil from the fried food I had eaten. The fried foods included some of the shrimp appetizer, which was fried, and a side of tater tots that came with my burger. Which were cold, and thus seemingly dry. So idk how they were so greasy, it's truly a skill. Just get Dairy Queen honestly. I ordered the jalapeño something spicy burger. It came with some kind of deep fried stuffed cream cheese jalapeño thing on it. The burger was cold and very dry. Although, im sure it wouldn't have been much better if it were served hot. Tried to get curbside carry out for the second time here and waited an hour. Order was supposed to be ready in 30 min. Same thing happened to us last time but wanted to give them another chance. The manager finally came out and offered two coupons for appetizers which was not sufficient. We were promised a voucher last time for a free meal and never received it. This was my second time coming here, the first time was awesome. I had a waiter that was nice friendly and the Hamburgers was Great and so was the salad. My Goodness the salad was awesome. I just left there today, I walked in they gave me a dirty table. I was there at 4pm right when the doors opened. I ask the waitress to clean the table. I guess that's when it all started, she got a attuited then had someone else come to our table. she was just the same. I waited 45 mins and never got my appetizer.
