I was very impressed with this place. Since it is a new place they had a little bit of a wait which wasn't bad. The service was decent. We got the cheese fries as an appetizer, which were amazing, came with a side of ranch. The appetizer came out in a timely manner. When we were finished with our appetizer, our meals came out pretty quickly. I got the California Chicken which was chicken topped with provolone cheese, avocado, and pico de Gallo. The chicken was amazing, very juicy and a great portion. I got a side of mashed potatoes and broccoli which were pretty tasty as well. I would definitely recommend this place, especially if you enjoy a more upbeat environment. I will be returning soon to try the chicken wings! read more

The sound of the sports games and music is so loud that we have to scream at our waitress and she still couldn't hear us. It's so loud that you can't enjoy the company of the people you go out to dinner with. I've been here many times but sadly I can not return because this last time I left with a headache from how loud the sound was and having no choice but to scream the entire time. We did ask our waitress if it could be turned down after she also complained to us that she couldn't hear us. She was wonderful. The food was ok, some things were over cooked and dry and they sent out a meal without masked potatoes and the kitchen didn't even let our waitress know they were out of mashed potatoes until my daughter in law was half way done her meal. The first couple of years this place IMO was much nicer than what it is now. Poor management? Idk. read more

We've driven by a few times and decided to try. The menu is very similar to BJS, Green Turtle or Glory Days. They do have a nice outdoor seating area where you can glance inside to watch sports. The prices are reasonable and the service for our inaugural trip was very good, especially for a busy Saturday night. The problem was the food, and maybe we ordered the wrong items (probably should have tried the pizza or burgers). Wings - F. 6 wings for $7.99 and they were terrible, undercooked, not crispy at all. I ordered 'hot', the sauce was just ok. Chicken Tender Salad - B...fairly decent salad, well priced. Chicken Nachos - B minus - I swear there was sausage or some other type of meat other than chicken on it. Ok overall, nice portion size and a decent amount of cheese, but nothing special. Fish and Chips - F. I knew ordering this was probably a mistake, my expectations were low as I knew it would be frozen. I just didn't expect rubbery and inedible, seriously I couldn't eat a bite. Soggy on the bottom which makes me wonder how they 'cooked' it. This should be removed from the menu immediately. I did like the garlic mashed potatoes and gravy for the side. It's a great place to watch sports , drink beer, and eat some wings . You cannot get all flats or well done for some reason . Service is hit or miss. It is very loud in the restaurant. At first (and second) glance, Bubba's is a sports bar. But I quickly learned it is a great place for families as well. It was recommended to me to try the signature Ribeye, marinated in an espresso rub. It was cooked to perfection. The side salad is big enough to be your main course, chilled bowl, great mix of veggies and topped off by shredded potato straws. Great salad. I was so impressed I went there for lunch the next day. I had the Burger (they have several iterations), and just the salad with a cup of chilli. Excellent meals, great wait staff, full bar and good beer. Great job Bubba's. After riding pass here every time I'm out Glen Burnie, I decided to go head and try it out also after reading a ton of positive reviews I felt the need to try any way. Upon arriving there the hostess greeted us right away and ask our party size and we were seated right away about 5mins being seated our server came and ask for the drink order and also asked if it was our first time here. She gave us a run down of the menu, and the drink specials along with the specials that were going on. I ended up getting the schrommin(hope the name is correct) with mushroom burger & swish cheese with French fries; my boyfriend got the bacon cheese burgers with the bubbas 33 special sauce with sweet potato fries. Let me tell you, that Bubbas Special sauce is the ONE! It's so delicious and on top of that being delicious so was the food. The servers there are very attentive even if it's not there section. They will stop and ask you is everything okay, do you need anything. Would you like a refill you name it! Every waitress shows TEAMWORK! No person left behind ! I also want to point out that the drinks are so good! And very affordable! I'm talking no more and no less than $15 dollars maybe everything is reasonable. I know the two drinks we had was only $4 each and it was very strong and tasteful; it's called the " pink lady " Drinks ranged from $4,$5,$8 with $2 dollar & $3 shooters to add to your drinks!(please double check I can't remember off the top of my head) Monday special $7 any burger! Came here with my brother around 5:30 pm. We grabbed a seat on the bar side and were served immediately by our waiter named Cannon. We ordered two appetizers. Hot wings and onion rings. Both were perfect. For our meal we ordered chicken tenders and mashed potatoes and the black bean burger. Cannon is the best server I've had at an establishment in a long time and he's actually the reason I'm taking the time to write this review this evening. First time ordering from Bubba 33 and decided to order online for curbside delivery. Ordered my burger and after arriving at the designated spot, no one came out to greet me. So...I patiently waited and waited til about 8 minutes past my designated pick up time. I decided to call the restaurant from the parking spot but was placed on hold for about 2 minutes before I hung up. Finally a young lady came out to get our names and our parking spots (5 cars), after that she went inside and retrieved my orders. With great anticipation of my burger, I drove home eagerly. Now I am at most, 10 minutes away from Bubba 33 but the food was cold due to the wait time I experienced, now the burger was super delicious but cold, definitely not a "happy" meal. I must say I didn't have high expectations when we decided to dine at this place. It was a great experience! My husband and I visited this placce twice already and both visits were awesome. Our first visit we both ordered salads which were so big and filling. I think I would have gorged myself on the salad if I wasn't so full. So filling and totally worth the cost. Our waitress was great and checked on us when our drinks ran low. Our second visit was with our daughter who ordered a cheese pizza. She really enjoyed the taste as well as my husband! The atmosphere is busy but enjoyable. TVs surround the perimeter and they play a mix of 90s music videos, sports, etc. Overall, we would definitely go back to try other menu items however o don't know if I will be able to deviate from that salad. read more

Since they open last year, this place has become our go-to place for really any meal when we don't have any particular taste for anything. Freshest bar food EVER! I don't eat beef, so can't comment on the burger which looked amazing but everything else that I have tried, we haven't had any issue. Often have side salad or the wedge salad, they always taste super fresh. The next best thing for us is their brunch menu! The price is great, HUGE portion, and fantastic BISCUIT!!! That country gravy is to die for! Simple basic menu but full of tasty goodness. They also have $2 mimosa (flute), what's more to ask for? Oh, I know, wonderful staff! I am vouching for the dining room experience, as I think we sat there once and was nothing to write home about. But the bar staff? They are awesome. Always attentive even when they are busy. Had a party of 18 on Saturday night. There was about a 20 min wait to be seated and we were able to go the bar an wait it out. Bartenders were very friendly and attentive. Beer was served in ice cold mugs and very very tasty. When we did get seated the waitresses were super sweet and all over our tables. We had a table full of youngsters and they were great with them. Very social and welcoming. Food was tasty as well. Friends raved about the pizza. I had a burger which hit the spot as well. Pros: great service, we were probably asked by at least 4 different employees "how is everything". Staff is friendly and very helpful. The bartender took time to explain the menu. Very nice but overall it felt like everyone was trying to hard to provide good service. That level of effort should be put in attaining fresh quality food and executing great recipes. Cons: food is barely mediocre. People smoking right at the entrance. Disgusting it's 2019 people are really still smoking smh, 1300+ people a year die from cigarettes that is almost 1 per minute. Hopefully management can create a smoking area far away from the door for those of us who don't want anything to do with smoke. Which is probably over 90% of your clientele. No happy hour specials on Friday :/ beer prices are a touch high. Not really thrilled with any menu items. Place was very busy. Owned by Texas Roadhouse and resembles it. read more

Now that I've been here 3 times, I can safely say that this restaurant deserves 3 stars. First off, I want to say that the bar staff on my last visit offered the best customer service I've had in all 3 times I've been here, better than any of the waitresses I had on the main floor. We had Trina as our waitress at the bar and she was very attentive, accommodating to our needs and checked in with us often. The bar lead, Amanda was also very courteous and checked in with us, as well as the restaurant manager. So to all 3 of them, they deserve a 5/5! All other times, the service was slow and our last one was a complete airhead and seemed to be out of it the whole time. Now onto the food. I first time I came here I was looking forward to having a veggie burger, but they said they ran out. So being a vegetarian, I had to resort to pizza. The veggie pizza they offer had toppings I don't like on it, so I asked to change a couple things out with toppings I do like. But even so, I was still charged for the "extra toppings," even though I made an even exchange, so that in itself is irritating. While the pizza isn't bad, there's plenty of other places I could get pizza at where it's their specialty. I wouldn't come to Bubba's with a craving for pizza. The 2nd time I came, again our waitress said that they ran out of veggie burgers! She checked in the back anyway, and it turned out they had one leftover. I asked if I could get the habanero burger and sub the patty and she said that wasn't possible, which made no sense to me. Then later she came back and apologized and said that she thought the cream cheese patty was combined into the meat patty, but she was wrong so they could do it. Anyway, so the burger was great. I give the food here a solid 4 stars. The habanero burger is an interesting burger and I've never heard of putting fried cream cheese on a burger, but the combo works really well! They also have an option of regular fries or fire fries (they also have tots - my absolute favorite form of potatoe!), and I'm not a fan of boring, plain fries so I always opt for the fire ones! They are indeed spicy, but very tasty! Now this last time I went, even though I loved our waitress, I was again irked because she said they ran out of the veggie patties that morning! How do you run out of them in the morning and never replenish them!? It's not even a breakfast establishment, so why wouldn't you replenish them for the evening crowd!? She went to check anyway, and came back and said they were actually cooking them now and they'd be done in about 2 minutes. So thankfully I was able to get what I was craving (because again, I'm not going to Bubba's for the pizza!). Then she came back again and said they ran out of the cream cheese patties. How are you unable to make more of that!? But I said it was fine, I still wanted the burger without it. Then our food came out and lo and behold, it had the cream cheese patties! There seems to be a lack of communication between the wait and food staff. Anyway, the burger was absolutely delicious. With the veggie patty, it's very large and falls apart easily. But that's okay, I of course prefer their homemade patties over a frozen one! The reason for the 3 stars is because of the service and the fact that everytime I've been, they claim they are out of the veggie burgers. I don't understand how you could be out of it before dinner time, especially when it's homemade! Just go and make more, right!? It's not like you bought a box of frozen ones and that's why you're out. Also the cream cheese issue in my last visit. Same concept -- just make more! So I'd definitely eat it again and again, BUT I feel the need to call ahead of time everytime to ensure they have veggie patties before going, so I don't keep running into the same problem. If you don't mind slow staff, long waits for dinner time, and aren't a vegetarian, then I recommend this place to you! read more
