First time trying Silver Diner in Baltimore. Amazing food and service were great! Family-friendly diner and definitely will come back when we visit. Thank you for the experience.

This was our first visit in quite some time. There was no wait to be seated, and our server came over promptly. Due to the extensive menu, it took us a while to decide what to order. Our food was delivered quickly and was hot and tasty. The restaurant was clean and quiet, and the music was appropriate for the environment. Overall, we enjoyed our breakfast. Since it was a weekday morning, I believe this is probably the best time to visit, as weekends may be more crowded and make it harder to get in and out.

Silver diner is a decent spot to eat. I personally enjoy going there for breakfast but I decided to try this location for lunch. I have no complaints about my burger as it was an average burger. Of course I had to get one of their milkshakes which is a must for me when I go to these restaurants. I'll be back for breakfast.

Visiting my grandparents and they recommended this place. SO YUMMY! Huge restaurant with a giant menu. Love the diner feel, with the red booths and big bar. Server was nice and helpful. Want to go back and try the milkshakes!

Our group went for an impromptu lunch at the Silver Diner located in the Gateway Overlook shopping center in Elkridge. It's one of our go to places especially for one of our members who is vegan and she can usually find something that fits her diet. New seasonal Blue Plate BUDGET-FRIENDLY specials are available Weekdays 11am - 4pm, Dine-in only. Two of us selected the Pastrami Reuben sandwich which came with a hill high portion of nice crispy bits of French fries that tasted freshly made. The only thing I wished for was that there be less stringiness to the pastrami. There was also the Shrimp Quesadilla and the vegan eater decided to deviate and chose the Alaskan cod and fries. Everyone enjoyed their meal and our wait staff person was very nice. We went on a Thursday lunch hour which was less busy with no waiting to be seated.

The food was great as always! I love seeing their inventive meals like the Benedict smash burger. Make sure you stir the blood orange soda before sipping because the sparkling water sits at the top. Our server, Dena was friendly and apologetic when things took a bit longer than expected. I will be returning because the food never misses.

It's been about a year since I've have brunch here and they completely changed many things for good reasons! First of all, 5 stars for Paola! She was AMAZING! She was quick, attentive and made our day with her kindness. (We'd love to sit in her section again!) The menus are refreshing and the booths as well. The atmosphere feels calmer and the food is still great. Again, this is an update and a shout out to Paola!

Interior is extremely adorable, with super cute holiday decor, and staff members were very, very sweet. The food was better than anticipated, and much more diverse in nature! Very yummy gem of a breakfast/brunch spot. They also have unique hand crafted sodas and huge milkshakes! Would definitely go again!

Had such a great experience at Silver Diner today. The food was fresh, flavorful, and came out fast. I really appreciated that the menu has healthier options that still taste amazing. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and made the whole experience feel comfortable from start to finish. The atmosphere was clean, relaxed, and perfect whether you're stopping in for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Definitely one of those spots where you leave full and happy. I'll absolutely be back.

I was soooo hungry this afternoon and the food here really hit the spot. We were seated right away, though the restaurant was pretty full. We both enjoyed our fruity drinks and the food was very satisfying. I ordered the Bay Benedict. Yum!

First time here and we wish we went here for brunch sooner! Everything was consistently good and we loved that. Servers were nice and attentive, all worked with a smile. Thought it would be a grimy or old chain diner but it looked pretty charming and all of the benches and menus seemed fairly new/redone. Food was great! I know breakfast is hard to mess up but gotta give them credit our protein pancakes and crab bennies were so good. And this was on a busy saturday morning with servers and people flying in and out of the aisles. I don't know how this place is rated lower than a 4 but you gotta go and try them out. Expansive menu that for sure will have your every craving. And why go to those national breakfast chains when Silver Diner exists and is competitively priced,

    Kristina R.

We had a bit of bumpy start as we waited a very long time (around 15mins) for someone to approach us after we sat down, but after we found someone the service was excellent throughout the meal. Christian was wonderful. The watermelon cucumber mint lemonade, non-alcoholic, is refreshing and sweet/tart. The bruschetta appetizer was DELICIOUS, I probably could've ordered two and made it a meal. The sunflower seeds were an interesting touch but it works. Bread is still soft after toasted, nice big portions. The fries looked so basic were almost just looked over them but they tasted amazing, lots of salt (which we like). The crab meat pasta was a special, and it was a huge portion with plenty of crab meat + pasta. Food was great, definitely nicer than your standard diner. Will be back.

So I will not base this review on their service to me but rather a little bit on their service to the other customers I've witnessed on. This place can be a bit hard to find because it's located right in the middle of an office/warehouse park and the park is big. But if you have a cell phone that has google maps or a GPS installed on it, then you should be golden! When I came here yesterday, it was pretty busy. You can order through their buffet line on the right side of the building or you can also order through their menu. The buffet line isn't actually a "buffet", but is more a "Each pound you pay a certain amount of money". I don't remember the prices but it's not bad. Like I said above, they treated me like royalty. But witnessing their treatment towards others, I feel like they have a natural and genuine attitude towards all of their customers. I was hungry and I ordered for my brother and his co-workers. Got 2 cheese steak subs, 2 Korean steak subs, 1 fish platter, 1 shrimp platter, and a club sandwich. Around 10 minutes later, I got the food. Smelled so good.... Oh and I also got a brownie that was sitting out front on their counter. I went to my brother's work and tried out their food. I personally had a cheese steak with fries and a part of the brownie. The cheese steak was DELICIOUS. Their toppings are similar or even the same as the other places selling cheese steaks, but their bread? It's different. Not really the taste but the texture is. It holds all the juicy toppings really well and it had a bit of a chewy texture which I love. The fries were alright. The brownie was not good. I've recently been to the Great Harvest Bread company and had the brownies there, so maybe I've been spoiled by their greatness and thought the brownie here, Kay's Diner was mediocre at best. Service was great. They're a Korean owned family business. Very humble and kind couple. Note: Their English is limited.

We stumbled upon it after finding our usual diner - Frank's - was permanently closed (bye-bye chicken fried steak, table-side juke boxes, cheerful waitresses). Although appearances were not necessarily deceiving, the food was surprisingly good, generously proportioned, and reasonably priced. They have a number of typical diner sandwiches available, and unusually, korean-inspired fare like bulgogi beef bowls (yes, I know, a surprising menu for this kind of place; the proprietors were 2 no-nonsense Korean ummas who worked swiftly and briskly); and a buffet with a number of offerings from mac and cheese to sesame chicken (you take as much as you want, whatever you want, and they weigh the loaded plate for pricing). My daughters had BLTs (loaded with bacon) and chicken quesadillas (also loaded with chicken); my wife had a big veggie wrap (yes, loaded with fresh avocado); and I chose some mac&cheese, collard greens, salisbury steak, and a roasted chicken thigh (alas, no chix-fried steak). It wasn't bad, tasted pretty good, and was ultimately satisfying (in s guilty way, like when you know you shouldn't but you do anyway - and enjoy it!)
