    Kids pancakes
    Richie H.

This review is for breakfast. There wasn't a wait to get in. Exterior is under renovation. We got the kids pancakes (comes with two pancakes and a side of sausage or bacon). The bacon was crispy. The sausage has the maple taste (not my favorite). Ordered the biscuit sandwich. Solid option. They melt the cheese inbetween the folded egg. Comes with some jam and I got the hash browns (could've been crispier, could taste the butter they used). Mexican scramble was also great. Service was fine - no complaints.

I went to Bubba's for Sunday brunch with some friends. I ordered one pancake with an egg on the side. My pancake was just a pancake but it was filling and yummy and my egg was cooked just right. Service was good as well and pretty fast.

Ambience was okay. The service was really nice but the food. Dry rub on the wings, bad. The barbecue sauce, radioactive. The pulled pork, can't even chew it. It was like a jaw workout. And then there were the onion rings. They were not cooked AT ALL. The dough was dry, crumbling to pieces. There was flour on my onion rings and all over our food . The huckleberry milkshake was nice though .

We went for breakfast and the service was AMAZING! I ordered FRench Toast Banana Bread since I have never seen that before. That was pretty darn good. However, my wife ordered pancakes and they were horrible. They were WAY overcooked and falling apart (trainwreck) and at $16 for 2 that will make a grown man cry lol. The place is super clean inside and the whole staff were so nice/friendly.

Back in for a pit stop while in town and just as good as always. Forest service and good grub. Place has a face lift too... remodeled over the spring. More booths and redo of the bar (stationary swivel chairs a bit uncomfy). My biscuit sandwich is now $18, which is up a few bucks. Still good with that amazing biscuit supporting all the goods inside.

This was located right outside our hotel, so we made an effort to try it one time before we left. Glad we did! The food was delicious. The prices are great too. The appetizers we ordered were the fried pickles and brisket queso. I would order the brisket queso again. The pack that dish with so much brisket that you can really just eat that as a meal for yourself. The Bubba Pulled Pork is something I'll think about often. It was very good, and it filled me up. I shouldn't have finished it because I was so full, but I had to. I slept like a baby afterwards. The servers were very nice too. The food came out very quickly, so you won't have to wait too long once you sit down.

This gonna be short & sweet... Vegetarian review: - grilled cheese: get this on Texas toast! Cheese was melty, and bread was buttery. - onion rings: great! Batter was crispy, and the onion stayed in the batter when you bite into it. Service: very nice. Accommodating. Parking: easy

Flat white was ok but they use dark roast (at 99% of coffee shops they use a medium roast)for all of their espresso drinks and I personally do not like my coffee tasting burnt. 1/5 Cinnamon brioche bun was decent. Most of the time they're referred to as a morning bun and they have hints of orange. 3/5 Now for the beans that I bought. I got home and opened them to see that they were very shiny (that means that they are a darker roast because the natural oils come out of the beans the longer you roast them). They are marked as a light roast and they are far from it. The roast date isn't on them either and that should have been my red flag. 0/5 Below is the Ethiopia light roast from SRRC next to the CC Java Estate that I just bought, for reference.

Meal prices are about what you would expect for Jackson... overpriced for eggs and pastries. People rave about the "pig candy" which is 4 pieces of candied bacon they give you for $16. Cafe Genevieve does them very well. The biscuits were light and fluffy. The gravy was rich and flavorful with a plentiful amounts of sausage. The eggs done over medium were also good. A bowl of fruit was ordered with fresh blueberries and ripe strawberries. Again, a generous amount. Cafe Genevieve has a staff that hustles. The food is done well and the portion sizes are large. The costs are a bit high with an average spend of $25 to $35 pp not including a morning cocktail for a basic breakfast. If you are hungry, stop by Cafe Genevieve for a solid breakfast.

Make sure to clarify when ordering this as we were confused and never heard of it before. The salmon cream didn't have a strong flavor, maybe the cream cheese was pretty overpowering. I did prefer the sandwiches over the cream cheese bagels. There is a thick layer of meat but not much sauce on either sandwich so I would recommend asking for either extra or on the side. The bagels itself were a little on the thicker side, they were toasted but not much as seen from the pictures. They were pretty doughy, not a personal favorite. Turns out Cloudveil is only open between June-ish and before winter, and I came late May 2026 so they weren't open yet. However, the nice folks at the bistro were able to serve me without a reservation (restaurant was about 2/3 full). The food was a little high but not crazy for a sit down restaurant and given I wasn't all that hungry, it was the perfect amount of food. They serve fresh bread with butter spread before your entree and it is so, so lovely! I ended up getting one of their appetizer salads with fresh fruit on a bed of roast veg, and I got two drinks - the "Rose French 75" ($16 - has alcohol) and "the inversion" ($11 - mocktail version of the "Jackson fog" cocktail). I can genuinely say both drinks but particularly the inversion were two of the best drinks I've had; the flavor was perfectly sweet, just a bit floral, and distinct from any other drink I've had (which is something I love to experience!). They paired great with the salad and the bread. They were also sweet enough I didn't even need dessert (although the huckleberry cheesecake and the bread pudding were tempting). I would go here again just to get another inversion mocktail if nothing else. It's a lovely place to have dinner and just enjoy the ambiance near Jackson square - highly recommend!!

Dressed up and on reservation, we arrived a tad early and were promptly greeted. Maybe hospitality isn't Wyoming's forte, but all of the staff did not seem happy to see nor serve us from the beginning. The booking site only offered high top tables, so that's what I selected. When the hostess asked if we'd like to switch to a table, she was sternly corrected in front of us that it "wouldn't be possible" by another staff member. The interaction felt unprofessional in front of guests, and as if they weren't willing to accommodate us. On top of that fiasco came plenty of glares and stares from staff throughout our visit. Crawfish & Dumpling - 9/10 For the table. Pungent; a few bites satisfy. I've never had crawfish in this setting. Perfect gnocchi. Delicious all around. Oyster Shooter - 8/10 Fairly priced, fresh. Nice bloody mary. Rabbit Ravioli - 6.5/10 Stingy portion of meat. Ravioli is just okay. The fried carrot nest was fun but it was too much for the serving. It's a carrot salad with a bite of meat and maybe 5 ravioli. Bar Steak - One came overcooked and one under. Sides were mediocre. Uninteresting mashed potatoes. Our waitress tried to take our order almost immediately after being seated. She visited few times after ordering. With a 5:30 reservation, we left by 5:57 thanks to the small portions and staff seeming to rush us out. In a tourist destination, I would imagine better hospitality and warmth from local workers. Not many smiles here. I typically tip well, but they didn't seem to want us there and the experience really dampened my entire party's mood.
