My husband and I came here during their soft opening and ordered their seafood plate in Bubba's bomb sauce. We loved it! So I asked Erick ( the owner) if I can preorder a tray for my bday on the 30th of Nov, to pick up 11:30 am. Erick said they open at 3 pm on that date but since it's my bday, he will cook for me. I don't want to take advantage of his kindness but he insisted and said it's ok. Such a nice man/owner! I got my tray ( seafood deluxe in bubba's bomb sauce) and it was a hit! Everyone loved it! No leftovers ! We loved dipping everything in the sauce! I will be ordering my seafoods here in the future and will try their different sauces. I don't understand how this place gets so many 5 star reviews because the food is EXTREMELY SALTY. It was so salty that we didn't even finish the food there and had to bring it home to rinse some of the seasoning off. The table next to us also voiced their concerns because they overheard us talking about how salty it was. Whatever seasoning they use does not blend well with the butter so whenever you dip the seafood in the sauce, you're not getting any of the seasoning, just plain butter. Since Kicking Crabs closed down in Rowland, we decided to try new place but I can't believe how underwhelming this food tasted. The ambiance is nice. The service was great to start off! We ordered two separate pounds of shrimp head on with egg and potatoes - the potatoes were huge and good amount as well, the egg was also great and cooked perfectly not too overdone. I got the bubba bomb (HOT) and it tasted super good didn't need to add extra salt nor pepper as I usually do. We also orders the honey lemon pepper wings, which were really hot thankfully! And also tasted great. The rice we order was about two cups of rice, for such a low price. We also ordered a side of sauce that was also 2 cups, they were huge!!!!! The bags were good as well because they were well shaved and well seasoned. It's a small place so make sure to reserve beforehand, there were a couple of groups that came in with no reservations and couldn't get seated to rye amount of reservations they already had , and some of them were not so understanding which was pretty annoying. Anyways to end it all totally recommend this place. The food was amazing and also the price because it was so cheap! Usually me and my boyfriend pay about $97-115 for the same order somewhere else but we only paid $86 here. read more

I rarely ever write reviews- this is the second one I wrote in 4 years. There are so many good things about this place! My favorite was the crawfish (I got the combo plate because it's about 50% larger than the average crawfish. It was also super fat, and most of the crawfish had roe in them. The last time I had crawfish this fresh and fat was in Louisiana two years ago during crawfish season. Snow crab was my second favorite. Flesh was sweet and just the right amount of firm, pulled nicely out of the shell. I've heard people say that the Bubba Bomb sauce was too salty, however I never had that problem. Maybe they changed the recipe, idk, but I found the sauce to be perfect and I'd dip my snow crab legs in them to eat. Nice and garlicky and buttery (you can choose your own spice level, I chose mild). I'm taking the rest of the sauce home as a dip for my bread Service was super fast and waiters were attentive too. Asked me how the food was, if I needed anything, etc. Food arrived within 7 minutes of ordering. Seafood and crawfish was given generously for the price, the combo dish fed me and my mother perfectly. But if you and your partner have a larger appetite I suggest going with some lemon pepper wings. Overall, 10/10 would recommend, definitely will come back as its cheap and tasty read more

I had an incredible experience at Bubba's Crab!I ordered the M1 seafood combo 3lb with 1lb extra added. This fed the 3 of us but could have been for 4 people as well if purchasing a couple appetizers. The mussel, crawfish, shrimp, and snow crab were all absolutely delicious. Came with a bunch of hard boiled, sausage, corn, and potato. We also got the fry's and coleslaw (thank you Eric), that we're both amazing. The fry's came out piping hot, just the way they should! The Bubba's Bomb sauce was a flavor explosion, making the entire meal memorable. Eric, the owner, provided exceptional service, going above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. The combination of great food and reasonable prices makes Bubba's Crab a must-visit for seafood enthusiasts in the Southern California area. Yummy!!! I was so stunned by the huge tray that I didn't even take any pictures!!!! We got two of the 3 lb trays. One with shrimp and mussels and the other with shrimp and clams. We also had sausages, corn and potato. The flavor of the sauce was really yummy! The food came out really quickly and the shrimp was so easy to peel. I would suggest to make a reservation if you can because it can get busy and the inside is small. Service was terrible called twice because the hostess hung up on me for not understanding my question. Kept asking me to repeat the question more than six times when it was a simple yes or no question abt whether or not the restaurant was dog friendly. I asked to speak to somebody else but he refused to put anybody else on the phone and claimed he is the only person working at the restaurant that can pick up the phone. Hope he gets fired for wasting my time I called them two separate times. Once because i figured it was an audio issue because you wouldn't stop saying what. the second time there was no excuse for it and you hung up the phone on me. I was laughing because you asked me what i meant. like what do you not understand by the question? and then refusing to give the phone to somebody else is even crazier.
