$50 for 69 items? Sold! Gui Gui is a solid choice for KBBQ in the Rowland Heights area. This price point is great considering you get premium meats like ribeye steak, short rib steak, and fresh rib. They have fully stocked bar to grab additional items to enjoy with your KBBQ along with less pricey meats like chicken and pork. If you want less variety at a lower price point, they have options for that too. Also the atmosphere here makes me want to drink and have a good time. Service was quite attentive too!

Just by looking at the lunch menu, you probably should come here. You really don't get the prices of $23 for lunch ayce anymore. The deal was too hard to pass up since most kbbq places are around $35+ for sure. I recommend coming here on opening time to avoid the lunch rush. A lot of the stuff is self serve, like a buffet style, such as fish cakes, rice paper, fried rice, korean noodles, sauces, and other marinated meats. However, I would just ask the server for the brisket and beef belly since those tasted a lot better. For the value, this place was great. The grill was somewhat lackluster since it kept causing us to change grills and I just wish that the service can be a little better. The servers were a little slow to respond to the button. I just wish there were more servers around, but I guess that's how they keep the prices low. I thought this would be like a hole in a wall spot but overall, this place was well kept. The only funny thing was that the booth seating was just 3 regular chairs out together... thought that was pretty funny. Regardless, we'll definitely be back!

We had a great time at Gui Gui 9292. This spot is such a reliable and solid spot for good quality KBBQ! My wife and I came by a week ago around 8PM and it wasn't too busy on a weekday night. The parking lot has many spots. The interior is set up nicely. There's a so many tables and plenty of booths. The TVs were playing the Dodgers that night and we were seated fast. They have different tier options on their menu. Menu A, B or C. All of them are competitive to other spots. We opted for the C menu which was $29.99. The staff explained they have a self serve area for some of the Bachan and most of the pork protein options are self serve. The staff and particularly our server was awesome he checked in on us and even brought some banchan to the table when it needed to be refilled. The restaurant uses the buzzer system if you need anything from the wait staff. Our go to options are always the beef belly and brisket. The portion and marbling were good on each of them. Their steam egg was delicious and that tofu soup was spicy! Just the way I like it lol. The self serve aspect is fine with me on the certain banchan and other sauces. The overall ambiance and service was great. We definitely are adding Gui Gui 9292 as a dependable KBBQ option to our list. Especially since this part of Rowland Heights has so many to choose from. Definitely dont' sleep on Gui Gui 9292. They are legit in my eyes! For sure go out a give them a try if you have that KBBQ craving! ( ^_^)b

Came here recently and had a really good experience. The staff was friendly and attentive throughout the meal, always checking in and changing the grill when needed. The meat quality was fresh and flavorful, and I liked that they also had newer menu items like ramen and sushi to switch things up from a typical KBBQ spot. Everything came out quickly and the side dishes were solid too. The restaurant was clean, spacious, and had a fun atmosphere for groups. Definitely a great place if you're craving Korean BBQ in the area. I'd come back again.

Honestly didn't expect the meat and banchan to be this good for the price. We tried the $22.99 lunch menu and it was definitely worth it. We also added the steamed egg and kimchi soup (my favorite...usually ayce restaurants don't make it well) for a little extra and both were super solid. We mostly ordered the beef brisket, spicy beef belly, and pork belly. Everything had good flavor and wasn't dry at all. They also have a buffet style area with some appetizers and meats!

*Thank you Q and a nice lady server for the amazing experience :)* I'm a total lunch deal lover!!! But I still can't believe Guigui 9292 has an all-you-can-eat lunch special 7 days a week--even weekends Starting off strong with their self-serve buffet area featuring marinated meats and side dishes around 26 items to choose from We went for Combo C ($30), which includes: Pork belly Pork jowl Steamed egg Tofu soup with meat - kid loves Kimchi fried rice Beef brisket (included in lunch special) And oh my god... the lunch special starts at just $23!!! Staff is very nice and helpful. The restaurant has plenty of space and is clean. I got the menu C and I enjoyed the variety of food. My favorite was the beef belly soy marinaded. I also liked the bar where you can grab unlimited rice paper and tortillas so I don't have to ask so often.

Came back again! It was Sunday and for lunch we wanted something meaty but not too expensive so I remembered this place had a special menu until 4pm for $20, now it's $22.99 and much has changed. We got to choose where to sit and we chose the booth again. They had plenty of seating when we came in and the place doesn't seem any different from last time. The window walls can be hard to see since the sun sets and the rays can burn your eyes! The first order we asked was brisket be beef belly while we got up to grab the rest. Good foods were the fish cake (peppery!), marinated pork belly, bulgogi, beef belly slices, corn cheese, radish wraps, miso soup, and marinated pork steak. The ones we could've gone without was the regular pork belly (tough), pumpkin (hard to chew), and brisket (lean and chewy). The available appetizers were limited as well so we focused on meat more!! The staff was friendly, the seemed busy and forgot to give us water and then we didn't hear from them until we flagged one of them down. They price kids at height and my son was half price. He didn't eat munch of the meat but he did eat a lot of rice...

My boyfriend and I have been to this location several times, and it is one of our preferred kbbq spots for casual dining under $30. Our server Q was fantastic, checking up frequently and constantly changing our grill. Portions are very generous for the affordable pricing and they have a self serve bar for additional meats and sides (tortillas, corn cheese, rice paper, etc)

Gui Gui 9292 offers a Korean BBQ experience that we really enjoy and continue to come back for. The service here is top notch--attentive, friendly, and well paced--making the entire meal feel smooth and relaxed. The meat selection is fairly generous, and the quality is consistently good. We personally prefer relatively lean Korean BBQ, and this place hits the balance just right. Many KBBQ spots lean heavily toward overly fatty cuts, but Gui Gui 9292 offers a selection that's satisfying without feeling excessive or heavy, which we really appreciate. Another big plus is the value. It's very affordable for the amount and quality of food you get, making it an easy place to recommend and revisit without hesitation. The atmosphere also adds to the experience. It feels authentic and lively rather than sterile or overly polished. There's a warmth to the space that makes it feel like a real Korean BBQ spot rather than something overly commercialized. Overall, Gui Gui 9292 delivers great service, balanced meat options, strong value, and an authentic atmosphere. A solid choice if you're looking for Korean BBQ that gets the fundamentals right.

Gui Gui 9292 Korean BBQ is a great spot if you're looking for good value. The quality of the food makes it well worth the price especially the pork jowl. Our server, Q, really made the experience even better, super friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout the meal. The ambiance is lively and welcoming, with a fun, upbeat vibe that makes it perfect for eating out with friends. Definitely recommend for both the food and the service!

Gui Gui 9292 is a solid spot for Korean BBQ! The highest tier has my favorite woodae galbi which is also called the short rib steak! The meat was so tender and high quality, I'm still thinking about it! The beef tongue, fresh cut rib, and boneless rib are other great options too. For $49.99 per person, I think the price is affordable for the quality! There's other tiers available too, which also offers a great selection of options too! Some meats are ordered through a server while others are available at the bar. If you order ramen, a server cooks it right in front of you, which is a nice touch if you want something other than meat and sides. The restaurant is spacious and great for large parties as well. I'm definitely looking forward to coming back for the giant bone short rib!

This is our go to kbbq spot! The beef belly never misses. All the meats are great. Tofu Soup is a must! & the sides always taste fresh. They have a great lunch special. Service is always great! The waiter Q gives us the best service all the time! Plenty of seating for all types of party sizes. This location always has the games on too! The vibes in here are always welcoming. & the claw machines are our guilty pleasure.

Great family memories with amazing food

We decided to split both dishes, and the portions ended up being pretty large for the price. We were full and still managed to have leftovers to take home afterward. Overall, the food was filling, seasoned well, and well portioned without being overly expensive. The only downside was that our waters were never refilled during the meal, although it honestly looked like there was only one server working at the time. It's hard to find a place where this dish is good so I was really happy. The noodles were also really good. Big portion so my bf and I shared. The kung pao chicken was good but it needed more flavor. I like my food with strong bold flavors and this dish lacked that. I would love to come back and try some of the other dishes like the sweet n sour pork. Great place to get some hearty stew on a cold day, during lunch or dinner. Super generous portions and definitely enough to take home for later as well. Restaurant is quite spacious and with lots of booth seating, but I can only imagine how busy it could potentially get. There's plenty of parking in the plaza since the 2 main stores/market chains are now closed. For our visit we got a medium gamja jeon-gol, which is their spicy pork bone soup with potatoes. There's a slight heat to it, but not super spicy as I was with some Cantonese people who can't handle spiciness, so they had it at mild. Still a rich umami taste with flavor to it. Pork is moist and plentiful and so are the potatoes. There's also lots of greens and I think, leeks in the stew. Lots of banchan to snack on too and all of us got a small bowl of purple rice as well (my favorite!) About 1/3 of the way through, we packaged most of the stew to go and we had our complimentary fried rice which is made inside the same pot as the stew, absorbing the delicious stew flavor. There's nori seaweed strips and sesame seeds added in for taste and flavor too. Good stuff. I'm, unfortunately, not a fan of picking meat off the bone so this was kinda hard when the soup was still boiling hot, but other than that, delicious.
