Honestly the best priced seafood boil I've ever had. The combos are great for sharing. Got the combo for 2 and shared it between 3 people as one friend only ate the appetizers. Spice level here isn't too spicy, got the medium spice and didn't have that much of a kick. Might have to opt for the spiciest level, considering at all other seafood boil places I get mild. Shrimp is more on the tender side than soggy, which I prefer. Corn, sausage, and potatos captured the spice level better than the seafood. Love the claw machine toy concept! We ordered the Seafood Lovers Combo, which included: 1 Premium Seafood 2 Classic Seafood For the Premium Seafood, we got the King Crab Legs. They have membership system, about $11 annually, and not auto renew. For member, they have $20 whole lobster this time. They have whole dungeneous crab and lobster on the menu. Our host so lovely, and our waitress Steph is so amazing and attentive. They have claw machines with grab a crab plushie but all the 4 machines are so easily slipped. Its the type it grab your plush, and the claw just slides through it. The host kind enough to give my daughter couple of tokens, but each machine is almost impossible to grab the plushie. I observed other guests too. The problem is my daughter is crying over this. I asked if we can just buy the plushie and they said no, and give more tokens. This affects my supposedly perfect nights. Came back to Grab A Crab with my wife on a weekday night. We attended an event a few back and wanted support the business again. We arrived about 1.5 hours before closing and only had to wait 10 minutes. The location was packed and energetic. All the TVs were on and music was playing. The capacity of restaurant was almost full. Our server was awesome during our time. We decided to do the combo 2 for $50. I think their combo deals worth its as it includes 2 seafood choices and 3 classic appetizers. Unfortunately they were out of the chicharron which was our favorite from the event. We ended up with 2 lbs of shrimp, sweet potato fries, gumbo, and fried corn. We were happy to say the service from staff was great. They are very attentive and come by frequently. The food was delicious and the other apps were tried were good. Every customers get a token to play the claw machine to win prizes. Nothing bad to say about Grab A Crab. I'm happy there is reliable seafood boil option closer to this area. After we paid our bill, our server even gave us a gumbo to go as it was close to closing. My wife ended up winning at the claw machine and go one of the potato plushie. I believe you bring back the plushie on a future visit and redeem for a food item. Grab A Crab opened up a month ago go with a soft opening a couple months ago. My husband and I are HUGE seafood lovers, and we knew we needed to try this place. We got there right when it opened and it got busy pretty quickly. Our server, Wen, was very attentive and made sure we were taken care of. We frequent another seafood place and this place was very comparable. We love garlic noodles and ordered it from here. They were good. Seemed to have a fishy water after taste and the noodles were a spaghetti which seemed to carry a lot more moisture so we're slurping water with some garlic. We got the combo for two and then got the lobster special, and signed up for the membership and got a free crab cluster. The sauce had good flavor. And they for sure didn't skimp on the sauce. The garlic bread was good along with the fries. The mozzarella was pretty good too. Would have been nice to have a dip for it. The place was very nice. Seating was comfortable. I think my only complaint on that is the music. A lot of n-word this and that, vulgar words...but once you start eating you don't really pay attention except for that one inappropriate word that comes blaring. This is like the third Grab a Crab that I've been to and they've always been good. This one is new and definitely the most modern and best-looking one interior-wise. I came at 5:50 on Friday and was third in line with a 25-30 minute wait. There were plenty of tables since the restaurant is large, but they don't fill them all up. By about 6:20, there was a waitlist of 20+ parties, so if you want to come, make sure to come before that, otherwise, you'll be waiting for hours. Now for the food, we got 2 lbs of shrimp, corn, potatoes, 1/2 sausage, with the house sauce and mild spice. Tbh, I would get at least medium because it was missing a little something, but that's more on us. The shrimp were perfectly cooked, not over or under. The sauce flavor was good, and we also got two bowls of rice, which were perfect with everything. Definitely bomb. They also gave us 2 coins to play the crane games. Don't be sad if you don't win because I'm certain the cranes just have a payout setting, as the claws aren't strong at all, but it is a fun little something for the kids. Overall, I love that this place keeps expanding because they have better food than Boiling Crab, and the environment is always popping. Im so excited to not be driving all the way to Rowland Heights or Monterey Park. The food was absolutely delicious. It took a little longer than usual to come out, but since it was their grand opening, I definitely gave them some grace. Everything arrived hot, fresh, and packed with flavor. If anything, it was a little spicier than I expected, but I still loved it! We also ordered three appetizers, as it was part of the combo for two. There's also a comfortable waiting area, and I appreciated that they offer water while you wait. Unfortunately, the food and service were a bit disappointing. The cajun fries came out lukewarm. I also ordered a side of ranch, which was an extra charge, but the container was only about half full. For something we're paying extra for, I expected it to be filled properly. The shrimp was also overcooked. It was dry and tough, which really took away from the dish. On top of that, our server never came back to check on us after the food was delivered. Parking is shared with the other businesses in the area, so finding a spot close to the restaurant can be a little difficult, especially when it's busy. read more

I got the 19.99 special they had going on on the whole lobster. I wasn't too appalled with the quality of the seafood. Also, it was very small portion of meat . The Cajun chowder was not what I expected as the one from Monterey Park even though a bad location also lost a little, but the chowder is one of my favorites. The first time I tried it. I was so amused. I fell in love with it so delicious and tasty but nothing compared to what this had to offer. Service was decent even though the server didn't bring everything and we will forget after we requested for certain things but overall I'm happy. They branched out to another location. I came here on the grand opening day and it was quite busy! This location is well decorated and there's PLENTY of seating but I could imagine how busy it can be on the weekends. We didn't wait long to get seated but we we waited quite a while for the food. The fries came about 20 minutes after we ordered and unfortunately it was cold. Our seafood boil didn't come for another 45-50 mins but at least it was nice and fresh. Unfortunately, my recent Sunday afternoon visit was not as good as my first experience. The restaurant was not busy, but the service felt inattentive and lacked basic anticipation of customer needs. We were a party of four and had to repeatedly ask for simple items such as napkins, gloves, ketchup, additional limes, and salt and pepper. Some requests were forgotten or delayed. During my first visit, napkins, ketchup bottle, and gloves were already provided at the table, which made the experience much more convenient. I'm not sure why this changed, but I definitely preferred the previous setup. I'm sure people who joined the membership would be slightly disappointed for the new changes. We also noticed the shrimp was left inside the bag instead of being poured onto a pan like our previous visit. For a larger party, the pan made sharing much easier and less messy. My first visit, when the general manager was present, felt much more organized and attentive. Hopefully, this was simply an off day. However I noticed since they have gained popularity, the service isn't as great as it used to be , longer delays when busy are understandable but it just seemed like today it was not up to par. On top of that they took away the huge bowls they would pour your food onto so that you weren't digging into a smaller bag especially when sharing. I loved that .
