Umm.. just a big WOW! This place is a treasure! I truly mean that! Set back from the street you easily pass it and takes a little effort to find parking, But folks it's all worth it! The decore is simple when you walk in, but soon as the waitress brings out the food plates my eyes and smile was ear to ear! The Lobster Beni was made perfect and very generous along with the home fries. The Cornbeef Hash was awesome added grilled onions on top. And it's so nice they can make it to order The Stuffed Berry French Toast was so stuffed with FRESH berries and they put even more on the side witj whip cream! To me this is a locals spot. It is an ok size inside. Not a super big place but roomy enough that your not sitting right on top of another group. The wait staff are good. Not overly friendly but like I said a lot of locals go here so if you know them they talk to you more. They are good at taking your order and they get it right every time. Even when you put in special request. We have been a few times now. My bestie loves this place. This is her favorite place to go. I personally think the food is fine. The Classic eggs benedict is ok. Their sauce is not my favorite. I have a couple other places I like better. The omlette is good. House hashbrowns are ok. Bacon could be a little more crisp for my taste. But that is my preference. I do ask for extra crispy and they have done that but the first time I had it was wimpy. So you have to know to ask to make things crispy. I am not use to telling the chef how to cook everything I order. For me this is a solid 3 1/2. Food is a 4 or 4 1/2. Staff are a 3. Parking lot is small but we have not been when it is busy. I would NEVER go on a busy time. Ya know there is always room for improvement . So for now I I will stick with the 3 1/2 With room for improvement read more

We were camping at First Landing State Park and sought out a hidden little gem of a place for a quick but tasty breakfast. Milton's Cafe fit the bill. My husband had the Western omelet with home fries and rye toast and I had the sweet potato pancakes with corned beef hash. Both dishes were very good and service was great (we sat in the bar area). Right next door to the always-too-busy Citrus, Milton's is cozy and comfortable and delivers awesome, traditional, tasty breakfast and lunch. Service is local and friendly and quick. Decided to check out this gem this past Sunday and it's good food that not many know about which was a plus for us because we did not feel like waiting the normal hour plus line. Milton's wasn't our first choice but after the first choice was super loud inside and the second choice was an hour wait, we walked past the gas station and headed here. Not very busy at all, which should have been a sign but we were hungry and parked. Service was very good. Friendly, attentive, kept coffee refilled and took our order swiftly. My crabcake benedict arrived not long after. Firm poached eggs on top of a grilled crabcake, a slice of tomato, a healthy serving of spinach and a lightly toasted English muffin underneath with a pour of Hollandaise over all. Nicely presented and digging in was not disappointing. Good mix of flavors and textures. The home fries with onions on the side were nice and soft, perfect with ketchup and some Cholula. Good meal, reasonable price and no wait. They have their own parking and there was plenty of it on this sunny Saturday morning. Not quite "knock your socks off" food but definitely very good and I am a fan. They do have a 10% off sign if you review on Yelp or Facebook. I opted -not- to take advantage of it. read more

I love this place! Whenever I'm in VA Beach I always try to come here. It's like a hidden gem. The menu is vast and I want to try so much, but I usually get my go to breakfast. My favorite item to get is the waffles. I have tried all types of them but I would have to say my favorite is the waffles with fruit. The bacon and sausage are really good as well. Also the lady that hosts and waits on the tables is so excellent and handles things so well even in busyness of it all. Wonderful restaurant and atmosphere.
