We had heard great things about this place and were pretty hyped to go here yet when we were finally there we left. We didn't even get to place our order as the cashier kept asking another person how much a "side order of hot links" were. I've eat a lot of BBQ all over and never once have I hear of a "side order of hot links". Neither had the other employee, after going back and forth about the portion size and price plus it being rather warm in there we left. If you don't know that it should be done by weight or per link then. You should not be up front taking orders. It's a shame because they were supposed to be really good. Breakfast yesterday and lunch today! Breakfast burrito was delicious. I told her to put everything in it...wasn't disappointed! Big enough to eat half for breakfast and half for lunch and at $5 it's well worth the price. Lunch for me is always the Miss Willie burger with cheese and mini fries. Plenty to eat for $3! If you are happy with a plain burger and no cheese, it's $2! Can't beat that even at a fast food joint. And Bubba's is certainly not fast food. One of my favorite burgers for sure. Only down side to Bubba's is the wait for food. They have a sign above the kitchen window declaring they are not a fast food joint and that is obvious because their food turnout is *not fast. But I love it enough to wait and as long as you aren't in a hurry, it's not unreasonable. I have also tried the pork sandwich and chicken fried streak. The best ribs I've ever had in a restaurant. Hands down. This is the type of place you hope to find driving through the sticks. They don't even have a sign. It doesn't matter. Just stop here it's amazing. You can taste the smoke it those ribs and they are falling off the bone. If your in a hurry.. You may want to pass by, but this bbq place is so good it's worth waiting for. Best bbq in east Texas!
