Great food, old school diner vibes, some things can be a lil pricey but the burger alone is worth it.

Hard biscuits and gravey from a can. Would give zero stars but it won't let me. Salty fries. Just plain and dull food.

Service is rough most days. Food quality has steadily declined. Over priced small portions. Better options close by.

Service was a 10+! Danielle was excellent and Matt checked on us during our dinner. The food was outstanding. We had the Lollipop lamb for an appetizer, omg they were the BEST lamb pops I have ever had. We ate half so we could snack on them the next day in our car ride to PA. Just finished them off and again, we were delighted how delicious they were cold the next day. I need to comment on the bread also. My husband doesn't even eat or like bread. He had a piece of bread last night and said it was the best bread he had ever had. And where on heavens earth did that butter come from?? I think I could just eat that by the spoonful. Best butter ever!! He had the sirloin steak with the mushrooms and it was very good. I had a filet and it was tender and perfectly cooked. We ordered the mushroom risotto and it was delicious. The table next to us had lobster mac n cheese and i had been torn between those two. The mac n cheese looked amazing too. Loved the risotto, not over or undercooked, creamy and delicious. Almost tasted like some truffle oil could have been in there but maybe that was just the mushrooms. I had the old fashioned and it was smoked and delicious! We each had a glass of Earthquake cabernet also. There was only 1 wine per wine type that you could order by the glass. More choices of wines by the glass would have been nice, but it was a nice glass of wine. I really need to know what kind of butter was that?? Wow! Excellent meal and service! Thank you Oglebay Resort! Trace Chophouse is definitely tops!

We ordered filet mignon and they were both cooked to perfection, tender, and juicy. The atmosphere was romantic and classy.

They are going to be pricier (understandable if you know food industry) and just have not had many that I would ever say I loved THIS IS NOT THE CASE Pork Belly bites. Cooked perfectly and melted in your mouth. The char siu glazed had the perfect umami to spice ratio. Made you feel warm We split two burgers. Their Billionaire and Jelly Belly. What I loved about both these are they aren't smashed to fucking hell and paper thin. Thats what I hate about smash burger. I want juice in my bite. Delivered here The Billionaire was easily our favo and can't imagine another burger can top this beauty. Vanilla candied bacon, caramelized onions, French Brie, arugula and white truffle garlic aioli. Get a side of that aioli for the fries. UNREAL The Jelly Belly. Muenster, bacon, jalapeño apricot jam (insane pairing), candied peanut crunch and peanut butter. I always love a burger with peanut butter. The Quesadilla. BY FAR the best thing. Holy FUCK. That amazing pork belly with, their fire sauce and a house made wasabi aioli. I never thought I would love another quesadilla besides chicken Latino's but wow Not a food truck guy, but am a Cold Friends guy. I bought a Jelly Belly smash burger from them. The employee made friendly conversation and mae my burger in a reasonable amount of time. This Jelly Belly smash burger uniquely contained pork belly, muenster, jalapeno-apricot jam, peanut butter, and peanut crunch. As I ate this burger, it dripped all over my hands, and I had to use hand wipes to clean my fingers. However, it did taste good. According to Cold Friends Kitchen's website, they also offer catering.
