The entire process couldn't have been easier. I forget the nice soft spoken woman's name that helped us but I can tell you the shop dog's name is Tree. Just took a few minutes to sign the agreement and we were on our way. She pointed us in the right direction to cross the street and in about a minute we were at the bridge pedaling towards the ocean. Fantastic ride and returning the equipment was just as quick. Highly recommend to visitors looking for a little exercise and fresh air!

I walked in showed him the fried plug and the controller that wasn't working. He grabbed all the parts off the shelves showed them to me and said no problem it should be ready tomorrow. We'll a week goes buy and he couldn't get any remote to turn on and my existing controller was missing and their were no new parts except a green plug to the remote he said he replaced. I go to pick up my bike not only is their no controller on the bike not even my original that was their. He tells me I owe him 400 which was initial quote including parts that he didn't install he just stole mine. Anywho he says I owe him 400 in labor where I was originally quoted 100. Then when I question it he yells and tells me to keep the bike. I leave w a broken bike, parts missing and according to him 400 for me Trevor plug and labor total. I tell him that's ridiculous he gets mad says fine take the bike well call it even so I did. 4 hrs later around 730pm he texts me and says he's taking me to small claims court for 500 after he said the bike was all dry and let me leave with it. I text him a week later and ask him for my parts that he took off the bike and he acts like he didn't know what I'm taking about and says he's having me arrested if I show to her the parts he stole from me and a bike he never put back together. Can't wait for civil court. Guy's name is Greg and he's a scumbag

I brought my truck here after I hit a deer in 2018 and have wanted to leave a review for a while…read morenow. At first the paint and collision repair looked great. The time to fix the front end damage and get everything repainted was quick. I was washing my truck one day when I was in college and noticed a little bubble on the fender flare and didn't think anything of it. Now being in 2025 the paint on my fender flare has a big spot where the paint has peeled. The flare was not prepped properly and most likely not primed before it got paint. If my insurance company wasn't gonna pay to have the fender flare prepped, I should have gotten a call and I woulda paid cash to have it done properly. If you want a quality job, I'd go to another auto body shop in the area. I brought my truck here cause I wanted a quality fix and paint job done, if I wanted the job hacked, I would have done the job myself.

Visited this place in October with a coworker we both bought Segway scooters for our commute to…read morework. My coworker took his right on the spot. Mine wasn't ready. I was told to come back tomorrow. I tried calling the next day, but nobody answered the phone so I showed up they didn't remember me. I told him I had purchased a scooter yesterday with my coworker, and then they went to look for it and they said it still wasn't ready and they needed to charge it . I came back the following day called again. No answer showed up didn't know who I was again reminded him an went to get my scooter ready for me to take one problem, though there was no charger with the brand new scooter. He could not find it. So he gave me a charger from behind the counter fast forward to today, May 5, 2026. I tried calling again no answer so I drove in. Doors were locked. Lights are on went to the front and back entrance. No sign of anyone one last check I see the guy who sold me the scooter in the window. I motion to him to come over. He comes over. he lets me in. I tell him about my scooter, he tells me to bring it in. I told him the back brake is no longer working, and my rear tire was making a grinding noise. He told me I could leave it to fill out my information before leaving. I asked him when he thought somebody would be able to take a look at it and he told me about a month. He stated the technician wasn't in today and that they had a backlog of scooters that needed to be repaired, which he pointed to in the corner and then told me there was multiple down in the basement of the same model. I told him that wasn't an option for me to wait over a month and that the scooter is still under warranty for another five months he tried to refer me to a scooter shop in Cambridge, which I live nowhere near and not paying for something that was under warranty. I then asked him what to do and he told me to call Segway the scooter company. And then again referred me to the scooter shop in Cambridge, which I had to reiterate that was not an option and I am not paying for something that is still under warranty. I asked him for Segway's number which he told me he did not have and to "Google it". My only dealings with this place twice have not been good and not the best customer service to say the least. Scooters were $1100 with tax and are under warranty for another five months and they are telling me I have to wait over a month to even get it looked at. Unacceptable!

Because of the misunderstanding they offered us a 50% discount for the future, which we were excited to use. We planned another trip up and when I called, Steve advised me to book the reservation and he'd apply the discount afterwards. We rented 2 e-bikes for $200, and had a nice day riding around the north shore. At the time we picked them up, Steve mentioned that he owed us the discount. We dropped them off at the end of the day and everything seemed good. Unfortunately it was never applied I've heard zilch from Steve since then. I've emailed multiple times about it and gotten no response. At this point it's been a month. Presumably since we've paid he just doesn't care? In the end, we had been willing to pay full price the first time around, but it's really disappointing to get a bait-and-switch like this.

Unmaintained bikes and slow service…read more It took 45 min to pick up 2 bikes and a trailer. The person helping us forgot to give us the second bike. Then, their bikes are unmaintained. The first bike had a broken gear shifter. The second bike they served us had a broken seat, to which they replaced the seat with a seat that had the cover cracked. Finally the trailer had a flat tire which we didn't discover until after we bikes a few miles. The guy also "cleaned" the trailer with a leaf blower. There are many auto parts stores in the area. All of them have at least one employee who really…read moreknows the business. The difference with Douglas is they ALL know what they are doing. You can go there with questions or to look for an obscure fit, anything out of the ordinary and they will be your best bet. I needed parts for a project and the other two stores in the area really didn't know how to cross reference or match a certain belt. Douglas should have been my first choice. It was nothing at all for them to find what I needed. They are worth the extra five minute drive for me.
