Great service had my bike in for tires and maintenance reasonably priced and did a great job

The inspection stations local to me in Plymouth were out of stickers, so I took a ride down to Cape Cod Choppers for an inspection. The soft-spoken gentleman who helped me was a nice guy. He noticed that I had an antifreeze leak, and I quickly identified the source. He offered to top off my coolant reservoir and wouldn't take any money for it. I would definitely go back and hope they continue to flourish. read more

Caused more problems that I had when I brought in my Harley. Gave them the benefit of the doubt once and they made it worse again. I could have been seriously hurt if a riding buddy hadn't noticed some problems. I probably should have sued them but I didn't want to be anywhere near them. Never again...be warned.. they are incompetent. read more

My import bike needed tires a few years ago, I called Cape Cod Choppers, they said they don't work on import bikes, but they would be able to change my tires if I brought them the tires and the wheels off the bike. Gave me a great deal for quality tires, could not be more pleased with the experience. Very friendly staff and quick work. I Recommend them to all my friends. read more

I haven't got a clue why anyone would give this business a poor review. I have done business with Anthony and his father "Lumpy" and I can tell you that they'll jump through hoops to help you to keep your bike on the road. Yes, "Lumpy" is a bit salty but if you can't understand a great sense of humor, something that he has in spades, then that appears to be your problem, not his. This father and son team is more than willing to help you with whatever you need. They are the most talented and knowledgeable professionals in the motorcycle industry and there is not anyone that I've ever met that that knows more about "bikes" than they do. Hard to find parts? That has never been a problem for me at Cape Cod Choppers in Wareham. If it can be found, Anthony and his hilariously funny father will find them for you. If you are a serious seasoned rider as I am or a newbie, this is the business where you'll find whatever it is that you need. I'm a 74-year-old female and I've never been treated with anything but respect by everyone who works at Cape Cod Choppers. Of course one needs to be respectful in order to receive respect. Unbelievably rude! One guy behind the counter, talking on the telephone to someone about politics, swearing up a storm. Looked at me, looked away, I waited another 15 minutes for him to finish on the phone, not a single business related word, for him to finally acknowledge me with "what do you want?". Apparently they solely work on Harley Davidson motorcycles and from the way I was treated, they look down upon owners of any other brand. I would never recommend even approaching this shop, let alone shopping there. After posting this review on Facebook, I was contacted by one of their employees and told that I was a p**sy and needed to "get a real bike." read more

Tried to get oil, coolant change on my Hayabusa and was told they do not even work on metric bikes. OK read here some gals had no problem getting metric service here? Looks like if you have a metric bike + a big rack and go in person "Tattoo" will be more than happy to help you out. read more

My husband and I needed an oil change and inspection on our Honda VTX1300. We are relatively new to the area and were unsure where to go and what shop to trust. Too many shops attempt to upsell when people are simply getting an inspection. We made sure to look at reviews for all motorcycle repair shops in the area...and we are so glad we did. Cape Cod Choppers is family owned. The father and son team are great. While our bike was in they even addressed the small things that mattered, fixing the choke, adjusting the sleeve on the exhaust (it had come loose!), etc. Honest place, honest work, very reasonable prices. Took by bike in to get an oil change and inspection. Said he would do it until he found out I had a Kawasaki. All of a sudden his mechanics are too busy to work on it. Not a soul in the shop...... read more

Here I am, stranded almost 300 miles away from home thanks to a broken chain on a vintage Honda motorcycle. Fortunately Cape Cod Choppers was there for the rescue. I was down the road visiting family, and having spent the previous two days calling every single Honda dealer and other Japanese motorcycle dealers around town, NOT ONE had a chain for my bike, a common part that fits various models and years, yet the shops that SHOULD have the part do not. I thought for sure I was screwed. Finally, I was about to give up my search for the elusive chain and would have to trailer my vintage 450,000+ mile beast home on a trailer... OH THE HORROR OF COMMITTING SUCH BLASPHEMY... On my way to pick up a trailer, my family member said "what about them" as we passed Cape Cod Choppers. My immediate reaction was "I don't think they'll have it. it looks more like a bike builder's garage than a store" because it was literally a small garage with a small office on the side, and besides, traditionally, most customs and chopper builders are mainly Harley guys, but I decided to drop in, and lo and behold this office on the side was packed to the gills with parts EVERYWHERE.... It was a complete MESS with parts on the floor, hanging on the walls, on the counter, behind the counter, on racks, under the counter, in boxes, and all the way up to the ceiling... it was motorcycle parts heaven and all over the place were photos of bikers, motorcycles, events photos, old photos, I mean decades worth of photographs all the way back to the 50s... WOW.. Behind the counter stood what can only be described as a typical HARD CORE BIKER DUDE... long hair, tattoos everywhere, a long beard and a beer belly, of course.. a little rough on the edges, a little tough on the tone, but genuinely friendly and humorous. My immediate thought was "No way he's gonna have my chain... this is a Harley man standing before me" and certainly this man is personally biased in favor of Harley motorcycles, but his knowledge and passion for ALL motorcycles become very clear and evident as I witnessed and listened to his conversation with two other customers and his mechanic.. Oh the knowledge this man has was indeed precious... and them came the gruntled "What can I do for you" and I asked for my 530x104 chain. He smiled, reached right underneath where he was standing and slapped onto the counter a 530x110 and said "we can cut 6 links off this sucker and there ya go" Hell yeah baby, I was thrilled and then I was in for another surprise, the price of the part did not include an inflated markup and I was happy to pay the $39 for what was normally sold for $80+ elsewhere. This place is amazing and I can not wait to drop in next time I ride down there. great place. At the time, a new shop was being built down the road where they would have a large showroom full of custom bikes, a large store, etc.. so, I'm really looking forward to my next visit to see their new location. read more

I got a flat today but was lucky (or so I thought) that I was only a mile away from this place. I had already talked to the mechanic previously about changing both types next season and how much it would cost etc. So I got a ride from a friend with a truck and brought the bike in. I told them I got a flat and wanted to get a new tire put on they told me they couldn't do it that day and I said that wasn't a problem. Then from the back room I hear someone yell "what kind of bike is it" ... This was the guy who had given me an inspection sticker only a few days earlier. I told him it was a Honda and he replied "NOPE NOT DOING IT, you'll have to go somewhere else". So they refused to replace my tire ONLY because my bike is a Honda!If I had taken the wheel off first he wouldn't have even know what kind of bike it was from. The only reason I feel comfortable giving them one star is because the mechanic is a friendly reasonable guy. read more
