Since moving out of the area to San Bernardino, I haven't had my Juanita's fix in over 5 years. But today I was in Rancho and decided to drive over (cuz I don't go to that other closer location iykyk) to get a burrito. My DT Order: -- #14 Chile Relleno Burrito w/ Meat -- Double Tortilla Wrapped -- Shredded Chicken -- Beans and Easy Rice -- Extra Chile Relleno -- Add Avocado Sauce (still did not receive in my -- 'rito although I asked for confirmation 2x). The $25 price point was so worth it, although I could only take about 5 bites before I was full. Lol that just means more for later. The 2 Chile Rellenos were full of melted white cheese (yellow cheese does not belong in CR), and they are kind of narrow/thin which is why I needed 2 to fill up the burrito. The extra tortilla was so it wouldn't get soggy or fall apart with the sauce inside, but that was no issue since there was no sauce. Ordering easy rice made sure that rice didn't fill up the whole burrito. Service was great from the lady at the DT order speaker to the sweet, mature lady at the window who couldn't help but laugh at my crazy expensive burrito order. Not sure if there was a break in communication with the cook in expressing all the extras in my order, but I'll make sure to just order extra avocado sauce on the side next time. Although delicious, I think the avocado sauce would have earned them 5 stars. I'll update my review next time if I'm right. read more

My mom and brother love this place. Growing up we used to go to the Claremont/pomona location and it always hit. This one was good. But it's not something that I was like YES LET ME GO BACK. I got a carne asada (meat), bean, rice and cheese burrito. It was good. Not dry. Had flavor. But they only have this peppery red salsa. It's a part of history, you can tell. It's across from a park, and after dark I wouldn't really be around there. There is a drive thru which was nice and then there's a walk up window. $40 for 3 burritos and an extra tortilla. Juanita's has always been in rotation for my family and I. I grew up in Ontario and have been eating and enjoying it as far back as I can remember. My go to is the shredded beef tacos, chicken nachos and the chile relleno burrito. The hot sauce is the star of the show though! I live in the bay area and when I come visit my family this is a must stop. I just realized they sell a 1/2 pint of hot sauce so best believe I brought one home with me this time :) (if anyone knows the recipe please lmk!!!! lol) Service can take a bit sometimes in the drive-thru, but I promise you it's so worth it! I'm back visiting Ontario from the South Bay and you know what time it is! Always on point, always fantastic. This time, my wife and mother-in-law ordered the hard shell chicken tacos and enjoyed them. The daughter ordered their absolutely incredible and should be "World Famous? Bean & Cheese Burrito. We've taught her well. My wife (who is from Ontario) mentioned that everyone on Facebook is crazy about the pork burrito so I deviated from my norm (B&C Burrito) and ordered one...but I did order a B&C to bring back home! The pork burrito was big, delicious and saucy. I did enjoy it very much. But I still can't handle how good that plain 'ol Bean & Cheese Burrito is so I'm looking forward to eating 1/2 of that tomorrow, another 1/2 of my pork burrito the next day and the other 1/2 of the B&C the next day! Really wanted to like the food at the Ontario location but it let me down. Just ate there yesterday alittle after 6pm. Me and my wife ordered the chile relleno combo plate with beans and rice and a chilli verde burrito. The good: homemade tortillas and homemade consistency. The renello was pretty good, and the rice was ok. The pork was soft and tender. Everything was hot. Now it he bad, beans had a bunch of hard beans mixed in with fresh. They were good consistency but lacking flavor, also rice & pork lacked flavor. Tortillas were amazing. This is only my 2nd time eating at a Juanita's 3 , but the Rancho location was much better and consistent. read more

I went today and ordered through drive thru asked for a carne asada burrito and a chicken quesadilla. The man didn't even repeat my order which was my mistake but when I got to the window, I repeated the order and he said yes. Well drove home and to my surprise they gave me a cheese quesadilla and a bean and cheese burrito. MAKE SURE YOU DOUBLE CHECK YOUR FOOD before leaving. This is a good spot for a simple menu and good eats. The customer service is always on point. I normally get only the crunchy tacos but I branched out to try something else. I wasn't impressed with the carne asada taco, looks boiled. However, they don't skimp on the fillings on any taco. My favorite part is the cheddar cheese !! Can't get enough of it !! Shop was recommended by family member for impromptu gathering. We got there and looked for an entrance; then realized its take- out only. They also have a drive-through , but we ordered at the window. We got 20 tacos. 5 potato and 15 shredded beef. While we waited, the young lady offered us a freshly hand made flour tortilla. Tortilla was enormous and soft and absolutely delicious. We devoured it in the spot. When we got home we had the tacos. They were fresh, filled to the brim with flavor. Potatoes were silky, beef was tender, tortillas were crispy. Service was quick, accurate, friendly and courteous and with a big smile. Oh, and did I mention the place was immaculate? Even their patio was spotless. Support this local family run business. I WILL DEFINITELY be back. read more

This spot is a drive-thru, the tortillas are delicious. Wasn't a huge fan of the beans and cheese burrito. The quesadilla was the best part. The chile verde plate was good. My suggestion is to improve the to go containers, by the time we got home the CV plate spilled in the bag. The styrofoam containers aren't the best quality. read more

Yeah the hype on this spot is real I've heard about this old hole in the wall that has been there forever and it is worthy to enter into the debate of who has the best Mexican food. It seems to be walk up or drive thru only so did the drive thru. Got a pollo burrito with beans cheese and rice and it was delicious. Seems like pollo can go one of two ways, juicy or dry and this was juuuuuuicy which is what I seek. Also holy smokes the tortilla was amazing. Service was fine again it was a drive thru. It's been a minute since I visited this place. Sad to see how dead it was. Unfortunately I get it. Speaker was not operating properly and when I pulled i commented it might be time to repair it. Clearly the young mans reaction was dry and uninterested. No worries I drove two doors over to Albertos and from the moment I drove up they welcomed me and I was out of there $75 00 later. I grew up in Ontario and Juanitas was the spot. I moved to Banning 5 years ago and finally had a chance to stop by and eat at Juanita's in Ontario. I ordered my regular, which is the green pork chili rice beans and cheese burrito. I was very disappointed. The first four bites had no meat in them when I finally got to the meat it was hard and chewy. I found a spot called Consuelo's in Banning, and after eating their green chili burrito Juanita's needs to step up their game. Sorry Juanitas but your burrito was not good today. read more

My family and I have been coming to Juanita's for years!!! Today , it was a deal breaker . i ordered my usual BRC burrito and my husband ordered an asada burrito.... When we got home to eat it he said "the meat tasted different " I took a bite and it tasted like dog food / old ground beef ...... then took a sniff and it SMELLED LIKE DOG food!!!! I called restaurant and spoke to the manager and she said she hasn't had any other complaints and will see if anyone else calls .... I felt like even though I emphasized how much of a long term customer we've been , she didn't feel the need to compensate or even apologize for this experience. The taquitos come with a tiny container of guacamole. It's definitely the one they sell at smart and final. (Watery and bootleg flavor). But lately, their consistency is terrible, burnt tortillas and very little meat in the burritos, and the prices are out of value, $26 for 2 burritos with maybe 2 chunks of meat is very disappointing. Juanitas is the top tier when it comes to their tortillas! (Fresh, not soggy/wet, thicker and easy to chew. Im assuming the tortillas are made in house.) So far I have only ordered the chile relleno burrito here and their red salsa which is so good. It's all very tasty together! The employees through the drive thru are always kind and patient when I come to order my regular. They do ask how many salsas you would like as they give them in small sauce containers. :) I usually ask for 2 per burrito. Highly recommended. Juanita's is my place to go when I want to indulge in shredded beef taquitos and cheese quesadillas with their green avocado sauce I cant get enough I've been going to Juanita's since the early 80's when I was in my early 20's in Pomona and in Ontario now I'm in my early 60's and I don't live in that area anymore but if in town it is one of my stops that I have to make noting that the Pomona location has changed so much and not for the better for what I love to eat there but luckily another Juanita's open in Rancho Cucamonga which is just as good as Ontario even though I don't get up that way much. it only makes it taste even better when I do. I would do just about anything to get the recipe for their shredded beef and the quesadillas are stuffed to the edges with the best tasting cheese I've ever had in a quesadilla and really wished I knew what kind it is. love you guys so much keep up the great work and thumbs up to the familia and don't change a thing. also the orange bang is a great drink to wash all that food down especially if you love sweet sweetness. I have not been able to find any food where I live now that even compares to the two Juanita's restaurants. I just can't say enough good things about them! now I'm hungry. Darn! read more

Been seeing this place a lot over social media and figured I should try it because it isn't that far from my house. Got there and people were outside order and drive thru line was somewhat long but moved fairly quickly. Food appearance: nachos were packed even I didn't get them with beans, onions and tomatoes. My enchilada on the other had almost looked non-existent. It almost looked like there was just a red sauce behind the taco but it was my enchilada that looked like they zapped in the microwave for so long, it became one with styrofoam already. Food quality: I've had better nachos for sure. The "carne asada" were clumped together but the texture was like ground meat and some of the bigger clumps were cold like it came from the refrigerator and wanted heated all the way through. Flavor tasted nothing close to what a carne asada would taste like and was just heavy on the black pepper. Rice was dry and beans were okay. Taco had no special flavor and was more on the bland side.
