I would've given this place 5 stars if it weren't a little over my budget. But it might not be over yours. They gave me the same price for a full cut and grooming as Petco. I'd rather take my little pup to George than the big chain. More power to the mom n pop biz like this one. Your little one will get more genuine love and attention here. The second George greeted us at the door my baby loved him. She doesn't do that for everyone. And he gave her even more love in return. Even though this is maybe $10 more than I wanted to pay, I will definitely be turning into a regular since it's close to my home, and they're open 7 days a week, and he's quick. I have been there when he has taken phone calls, and he is a bit impatient on the phone, but that's only because he's alone in the shop and he's too busy giving personalized care to OUR FurBabies to talk on the phone! I also read that y'all are pissed that he won't quote prices over the phone. His prices vary depending on size and condition the dog is in. You people who are refusing to come in for such pettiness are really denying your FurBaby of a great experience! This man is so loving and patient with his clients, it's unbelievable. I won't take Gidget anywhere else. It's pricier than a normal grooming spot, but more than worth the extra money. I wait while he washes her, and I watch the whole time! I called George over a year ago to check out his prices, etc. and had a similar experience that others have had-no firm prices, times, etc. I had been wanting to try it since it's walking distance from my house, and today was finally the day. I just returned from his shop and this is what I've realized. He is very relaxed and has an easy going vibe, which might account for his hesitancy to give pricing over the phone. He genuinely loves these dogs and just wants you to come on in. His shortness on the phone is probably directly related to him being alone in the shop, often watching over the dogs that he is currently grooming. I didn't find it to be dirty at all-it's a grooming studio, and someone else cleans up your mess. Score. I took in my 50 pound dog (brought my own shampoo) and used his space for $15. He offered me more towels and a spray of cologne for my pooch. He was very friendly and seems to have mostly repeat business (if the holiday cards/photos hanging are any indication). I'm taking off one star for lack of direct pricing (nothing posted in the shop) which is the reason it took me so long to come back and actually try out his business. My massive black lab mix Bentley loves to go see George (the owner and groomer) because he is so friendly, gentle and just amazing all around. He makes Bentley feel safe and manages to get him clean without a huge mess, which is what I end up with in my house if I wash him. You can even wash your pet yourself at the location to save from the mess at home if that's more your style. It is a quick if you are in a hurry or you can leave them there to hang out and listen to George sing songs to them in a cage/kennel free environment. I really enjoy taking my dog to the Bubble Bath Party because I feel comfortable leaving my dog in George's hands and he makes you feel very welcome. I once lost my wallet and he helped me to look around and ask the other locations but it ended up at home. read more

Sadly I didn't even get to meet this person. I recently moved to the area and am looking for a new groomer. I called Bubble Bath Grooming to ask what their prices were. The gentleman informed me that he would not give me any prices over the phone, he told me he needed to see the dog and know what "kind" of dog it was. This all sounded reasonable to me, so I let him know "It is a 14 pound Schnoodle". I had only started to tell him how I always get an estimate over the phone when he cut me off! He was rude and told me he uses expensive products and has been in business for 20 YEARS, and I should just bring the dog by right now! Then he would "work on the dog and charge me what what was due". For a person who has been in business for 20 years, I figure he would have better customer service experience or least some customers. I have never been able to get Charlie in to a groomer on the day I call (right after I hang up the phone). There were no sounds of other dogs, clippers, or sense of urgency in his voice (I usually get those when calling groomers), only a loud television. I am not sure how they are with the dogs... But they need to work on their people skills read more

Love this place!!! I have taken my pomeranian a couple times so far, and we are always so happy. Unlike other places, when I walk in to pick him up, he is on George's lap getting a belly rub. It is so nice to not see him in some crowded cage like PetSmart. George hand blow dries and really spends time and cares. read more

This place is a hidden gem. It doesn't look like much but the owner/groomer is the sweetest man and my dog adores him. We have been to other places where I had to drag my dog in the door. One groomer elsewhere even refused to bathe my dog because he was so uncooperative. My dog eagerly runs into Bubble Bath Party and leaps into the bath tub as soon as he gets there! He seems to really enjoy the whole wash and dry experience there. We have been going for at least six years now and the groomers work is always to my satisfaction and his prices are reasonable. We get appointments on rather short notice and have walked in without an appt. on a few occasions and have gotten great service. We loove Georgie! read more

Great dog bath place that you can do yourself! Our dogs actually don't mind getting bathed and dried here when we do it. Owner is very nice. He calls every dog the cutest dog LOL. It's inexpensive too and typically I never see other people in here. Only reason I am giving it 4 stars vs. 5 is because the hours are odd. Took my 40 lb bulldog there by a referral and was sadly disappointed. Walked in and the place is pretty rundown and dirtty. Guided my dog up to the bathtub so George can wash him and the outside of the bathtub edge and the opposing bathtub had different dog hairs everywhere. Granted if it were a busy place, I'd understand maybe they didn't have time to clean it, but there was no one there but a lone dog tied up in a booth. Was going to turn around but kept thinking about the friend that seems to love this groomer. Picked up my dog a couple hours later and he was not fully dry, he had poop around his anus and under his tail was still brown and his ears still had gunk in it with just a swipe of a tissue I used. How is that a thorough cleaning? $42 later - super disappointed. read more

My Wheaten Terrier recently discovered he likes to play in the mud, so I took him to George's Bubble Bath Party for the first time this morning. When I got there, there was a sign saying "back in 20 minutes" with a tel # on it - I called that number, and George said he'd be right back from an errand. He was back in about 5 mins. When I first entered the facility, I was impressed with how clean everything seemed to be. There are raised tubs with anti-slip mats on one side, with stairs for the dogs, aprons for the owners, scrub brushes, warm water from a handheld on/off sprayer, and towels. George brought me a collar to use while bathing my dog (to hook onto a small lead built into the wall of the tub) and an ample supply of tear-free, coat-softening shampoo, and he entertained my dog and me with his delightful songs and affirmations of what a cute dog he is. On the other side, there are raised drying booths (again, with the ability to hook the collar onto a small built-in wall lead) and high-powered blowers. Without my asking, George brought me the exact types of brush and comb needed for my dog's coat. While I was drying and combing my dog, George was cleaning up the mess we had left in the tub (and even splashed on the floor) while delightfully conversing with me about his children and grandchildren. When I was done, George brought back my dog's own collar, on which he had given us a nice "surprise." :D 5 Stars - not only for the clean and high quality service, equipment, and products but also for George, a genuine dog-lover. As others have said, you may want to call before going to make sure he is there (he is open 7 days/week except for holidays and posted vacations), but I believe he said he is there from around 8am to 4pm-ish, but he'd come back in the evening by appointment. read more

5 years ago, when I adopted my puppy who had anxiety it was a hot summer like this year. I took her to Petsmart and Petco for grooming but they all rejected her and said she is not friendly...Then one day I was lucky and passing by this place and I talked to George. He smiled and said just bring your dog. That day he had no issue doing it and my dog actually loves him now. Its been 5 years now. George is great and well experienced ( about 30 years). The owner is a nice man and worked well with my small pup. He really seems to love dogs. In fact, he kept telling my dog he loved him through the whole wash! Very sweet :) I only gave three stars because the place isn't open at the hours shown at the shop. They closed two hours early my first attempt. My second attempt he posted a 'be back in 30 minutes sign'. So I had to wait. He gave my dog a basic wash and trimmed his nails but I believe his nails were still too long. He gave me a price over the phone but actually charged me a little more even after I reminded him of the price he gave. It was still cheaper than the others though. Since I adopted my two lab mixes 9 months ago, I have been on the hunt for a high quality, yet reasonable groomer that is gentle with my senior and anxious boys - and I have finally found the place for them! Because I was nervous about leaving them, George let me stay while he bathed and dried them. Within minutes of starting their baths, my boys went from shaking to wagging their tails. He is gentle with them, and more importantly he treats them as if they were his own, calming their fears and giving them plenty of love and attention. While I was washing my dog in the upraised bath tub, it was fun listening to George (the owner) singing and talking lovingly to the dogs he's grooming. I particularly like the upraised bath tubs (tubs like in human bathrooms), which makes it easy for me to wash my dog without breaking my back bending over. I usually bring my own dog shampoo, but spontaneously decided to wash my dog after the park this morning. George brought over a sudsy bucket of water and grooming utensils for my long haired dog. I have been to this place 3 times, to bathe my 106 lb dog. He quoted me a price of $15 over the phone the first time, then after I was done he told me next time it would be $25 because of the size of my dog. Which is still a good deal and close to my home... However the last time I went there when I was done he said it would be $40. He explained that I was ther for 3 hours and that was why the price went up. I spent the same amount of time the last 2x I was there. He then stated I used too much electricity?!?! He then said pay what you think is fair, I paid him $30 and told him I would never come back. The owner has no posted prices or an hourly rate so I have no idea as to how this figure came up. read more

Omg! Sorry to the so very nice guy that owns the place and is so eager to give you a hand with any small task when your hands are busy with your dog, BUT they are so beyond rude on the phone sometimes that it makes me just want to drive over just to curse them out! And they are so infested with roaches, i almost screamed and gave my dog a heart attack when a baby roach crawled onto my arm. I ran out of there so fast I didn't say buy. I was so worried about those buggers sneaking into my dogs bag or towel and breeding at my house. I am so deathly creeped out by roaches OMG because they crawl so fast and some of them buzz and fly!
