The groomers are all wonderful with the pets and never have anything negative to say about their behavior; and cats are difficult. I stopped taking my cats to another groomers for the same price and all they did was complain about the cats. Cats are not easy... plus I pay you to groom them not to complain about them! TLC always welcome my cats with cute words. That's what is all about tender loving care. Right? So do I recommend them? We had the groomer work on our three matted dogs (a Pomeranian, shih tzu, and bichpoo), and two came back bleeding from nail trimming. My bichpoo also had a cut on his thigh and is now sporting a cone, but the groomer did not mention any of these issues to us upon returning the dogs. I had my husband text pictures to the company, and the groomer offered to come back with styptic for the paws, which he had already applied when he was here (meaning he knew about the bleeding and chose not to mention it), along with a discount on their next groom. The whole event cost $300, and they still had long ears despite my request for a puppy cut face. The Pomeranian came back with five knots and looked barely touched except for her uneven behind. My bichpoo and shih tzu are 12 and 11, respectively, so we've had many groomings in our day... this was the worst. read more

In less than 30 minutes I received a link to fill out an easy application and set an appointment for pickup in the next few days. Sam arrived infront of my yard right on time, masked, and was very patient in waiting outside for pickup. After talking and agreeing on a summer cut, Sam took my dog on a little stroll up and down the sidewalk and into the grooming van which stayed parked right outside our yard :) That gave me a huge sigh of relief since I had never tried a mobile dog grooming service before. I really wanted to like this place since I am a new dog owner and did my research when looking into groomers. This is from a first time experience without having anything to compare to.... until now. Sam was our groomer and both times he arrived earlier than scheduled. He was very nice to speak with but a little too over confident in his abilities calling himself the dog whisperer. My pup did not warm up to him like he usually does with new people. Sam came to the door both times and knocked loudly already putting my pup into a barking frenzy. I asked both times that he just text me when he's outside so I can come out to avoid that. My pup never barks minus someone being at the front door. I offered a peanut butter lick pad since my pup enjoys that in his baths at home but he refused. He took a bag of treats which I never got back. First session he took my pup for 1.5 hours he brought my pup back soaking wet and traumatized. He didn't do anything except give him a bath and cut some of his face area - I had to deal with the drying (I have a long haired pup). He then suggest I give him a large double dose of CBD, which I thought maybe is normal for groomers to suggest. After this first session, my pup was traumatized and soaking wet. I had to stay with him to make sure he was okay. He was all sorts of agitated. Sam suggested a second sessions with the CBD. Anyways second session, I give him the CBD (1 dose) and Sam says it's not enough to give him double or triple next time - he takes him into the van no bath no cut no nail trim nothing. Brings him back. All in all not a great experience but I know this is my first grooming experience so I go and look for another mobile groomer to try for comparison. I found another mobile groomer and it was an AMAZING experience - total 180 degrees. I asked them about CBD and they said no they don't recommend it because the dog can go bathroom mid session. They were super informative and put me and my pup at ease. The girl came and called me to meet her in the driveway so she doesn't startle my pup (their company rule), she spent time with my pup with me there so my pup can get acquainted - my pup instantly attached to her and went happily with her to the van. She even took my peanut butter lick pad. My pup was given a bath, brushed everywhere, given a haircut, trimmed nails, etc. AND my pup came back to me super happy there was no traumatized behavior whatsoever. From seeing this experience compared to the one with Sam, I know my pup has had a much more pleasant spa day with the new groomer I chose. A week goes by and nothing, so I call with the number on Yelp. No answer for three days. I leave a voicemail and still nothing. I would not advise anyone to use this service if they truly love their pets . The groomer came out one day and wash my 3 toy Maltese and didn't finish. He gave them back to me soaking wet, cold, shaking and scared saying his truck broke down and he couldn't finish the service. Then he mention that he'll go and get another mobile truck and call me about coming back out the same day. I never received a phone call from him. Two days later, the owner finally called back to apologize and reschedule another appointment. We decided to give them another shot so our appointment was a week later (today). So the employee arrived, asked us to give him a minute to set things. Apparently nothing was communicated to the owner because the employee gave us a higher price than before. He called the owner to have a private conversation with him and we were quoted a much higher quote with $15 off. To sum it up, it was very unprofessional! read more

What a joke. I thought the 1 star reviews were fake but my dog is literally shaved to the skin (can see more skin than hair). My dog had no mats except for around his chin, yet his entire body is shaved down to the skin. This is a terrible business. Would never recommend. The groomer told me my dog needed to take cbd the first time and so we bought cbd and gave it to him 3 times (night before, morning of, 30 min prior) and obviously he didn't need it as the groomer had no idea what he was doing. I could shave my dog like this instead of paying $140 for this. Update- It says a lot about the company when they have to bash their clients to make themselves feel better. Customer service is a large part of owning a business. Any great business will tell you that sometimes they don't agree with the client but they try to come to an understanding. I would have gladly called at an appropriate hour and talked through my disappointment as well as updated my review to give them more stars for at least trying to understand my frustrations. But, when someone feels that they need to put you down for no reason and make comments about something they literally know nothing about, that is the definition of a bully. I will never tolerate being bullied and therefore, I'm not going to have a phone conversation so that the way this owner speaks to his customers will go undocumented. I sincerely hope that this place does not reopen. Sam - aka Azama aka Osama - stabbed my dog during her monthly groom on 7/23/21. The wound was so deep I could see her bowels. Then he called supervisor Paul Greenwood to come over and the two of them conspired to hide this from me by using wound powder to try to close the gash up, then lied to my face and told me it must have been an old wound hidden under her fur that was accidentally reopened by the clippers. Needless to say I took my dog to the vet where she had emergency surgery to close the gaping wound on her belly. $2,000 in vet bills and these two criminals have blocked my number and ghosted me, leaving me with the bill for their criminal act. Stay away from these people. RESPONSE TO "BUSINESS OWNER" - that is not believable given that Sam/Osama was absolutely employed by you (see your website and many prior reviews referencing him), I had been using Sam/TLC grooming for over a year prior to the incident, I scheduled the July groom in question through contacting TLC Mobile Grooming as I had been doing for over a year, and the photo of the "business owner" in these Yelp replies is Paul Greenwood who came at Sam's call with the wound powder and tried to perform novice surgery on my poor dog in the back of a van. I was at work when I saw TLC van driving down the street. My parents dog needed to be groomed, cleaned and most importantly deshedded. I called them to make an appointment. They were very nice through text. When Sam came. He was nice. He took Ace with him. He finished about an hour later. He called to let me know he was going to spray some kind of of conditioner on ace to help his hair. He said it would be better. I asked if he deshedded him he said yes but the day after when ace fully dried off. It did not look like he was deshedded at all. Ace did have a lot of hair that's why I paid more money for him to get deshedded. I ended up brushing him for an hour getting a lot of his hair out. I could have done this at home and saved $190. Not to be mean. Sam was nice but the service for ace wasn't as I expected. He looked as if he was just washed nothing else. read more

But you told me 140, ( they just wanted to take as much money from us as possible and each time changed the amount we had to pay more than three times!!) he said so we don't want to go on with your dog, and he stopped the haircut in the middle !!! he gave me the dog when he was all w-e-t, shaking, and scared! and I have 2 babies crawling around the house and he wet the whole floor. Also he didn't finished the haircut & Returned the dog to me that the haircut is unfinished! His hair looks horrible and he can't see nothing and all his body with ridiculous haircut, it's so sad to see that because Buddy is a beautiful golden doodle and he ruined his hair! He made him a too short haircut for this breed.! Don't make this mistake and don't bring your dog here! I have a baby crawling in the house and because he didn't finished the haircut, all the house full of hair and my baby put in his mouth a lump of hair, which is very dangerous!.
