I really enjoyed sitting in the big swingy chair by the window, eating a puffy waffle filled with gelato! The bubble waffles are popular in California but not here,so I was excited to see this open at my favorite mall! On the day I went it was crowded so it took a long time, but the employees were friendly. Cute place in a great location. I'd definitely like to go back to try more gelato flavors and the boba tea. read more

Fun place for dessert. Long line but it moved pretty fast. The bubble waffles were huge, def enough to share. The waffles were made in advance and set out to cool I think, so they were not warm when served. I guess this is the point because it would melt the gelato, but the thought of a slightly warm waffle was kind of appealing. The basic option includes 2 scoops of gelato, so it's a hefty portion, plus a sauce choice, and you pay extra for the other toppings. They have a set of basic gelato flavors, nothing super exciting but they do have pistachio (although it was empty when I went). The gelato was good. I toppings were ok, but it was things like whole oreos, caramel chips, mini m&ms, nothing homemade or interesting. The sauces were also ok but not awesome, two criticisms with the sauce, I'm a sauce person and they put like two strips of sauce on this gigantic cone, and I got peanut butter and it was just a Reese's container, I can buy that in the grocery store so wasn't super exciting. The others sauces were the same. I would have expected hot fudge, similar to Menchies or other ice cream places. So overall not bad, good for basic dessert and probably kids would think it's fun. read more

Came here with two of my friends. One friend had the gelato waffle, other with the milk tea, and I had a fruit tea. Both of them threw away their order after a few sip/bite; they couldn't even finish half. My friend's waffle gelato wasn't that good. Waffle was quite hard and the gelato tasted more like ice cream. My tea was okay. It's not bad but I've definitely had better. Felt like if you're in the area and crave for boba then it's fine. Price was decent and a good amount of choices to choose from. The worker that took my order (I'm assuming is the owner) was friendly and helpful. read more

I ordered a drink online and based on my experience, I think they have some room for improvements in terms of customer service and satisfaction. Ordered my drink: NO ICE, NO SUGAR; the drink came with both. Called the store and was told unless I went back immediately, there was no way for them to replace my drink. The traffic was horrible thus I could not go back. Patronage repaid with indifference to customer service. Long way to go. read more

I'd love to have a review for this store but this is my third time waiting in line ... I work at the mall and cannot get a beverage on my 15 minute break. I even tried when I had 30 minutes left on my lunch and waited 20 minutes in line. The physical space hardly has space for the line too. I've been wanting to try this place for a while and finally was able to find some time to do so yesterday. Before leaving I checked the hours online and saw that they closed at 9. My family got there just after 8 and the door was open with someone standing behind the register and someone else standing by the door so we assumed they were open. When we tried to enter we were shouted at saying they were closed and the man that was standing near the door shut it right on us! I'm not mad that they were closed (despite what the hours online say) but just with how rude they were to us for simply walking in an open door enough that they literally shut the door ON us as we stood there trying to get our 2 year old to turn around. Such a let down!!! I was really excited to try this place as I am a major foodie. Waited in line for 20 minutes, which was fine. I read the menu over and over and had my heart set on strawberry and vanilla. When I finally got to the counter they were out of strawberry and vanilla gelato, go figure, so 4 other crappy flavors. There were only 6 flavors total, I believe. Coconut and pistachio being two of the four left. GROSS!! My mom was here last week in the morning and had the same problem... out of everything! You would think they would have more gelato in the back. The owner should have given a coupon to come back and try it again. Try Rita's instead or Kawaii on Garfield and 19 mile for bubble tea. I would not recommend going here if you value what your money gets you. This store only really seems concerned with their specialty cones and that's it. They were out of large bubble tea cups and they were out of all pooping bubbles except strawberry and passion fruit. They were serving a single scoop to another customer, so I asked the price, to which the young girl say 3.99. Which is outrageous for a single scoop but I got it for my mom, after paying though it came to my attention for 4.50 I could have gotten double what I had payed for. Wish the dumb girl could have mentioned that instead of being obsessed with what was going on behind her. Don't even get me started on the horrible strawberry and mint sparkling bubble tea, which only sparked because of sprite. The dumb girl said it was good, and it was one of the worst bubble teas I have ever had, especially for the price,, so I would hate to see what their other flavors taste like if this was the recommended one. The passion fruit boba tasted like a trash can and the whole drink was just way below average for their steep price. Also when I asked if I could have boba, the girl said yes but never thought to mention that it would cost extra, as I could only go off what she was saying as the boba tv was off. First time here and I must say it's a clean and very small space. I ordered the vanilla waffle with cookies and cream gelato. My friend got the vanilla waffle with strawberry gelato. Adding toppings are extra $. The worker taking our order didn't seem enthusiastic and friendly but my food came out pretty fast. The cookies and cream gelato does not have a sweet taste to it. It tasted bland in my opinion. The strawberry gelato was much better. The price for 1 of these is too expensive if you want toppings. Overall, nothing too special and overpriced. read more

To be honest, their waffles were really good, but the bubble tea was awful. Not enough flavors and the tapioca bubbles were hard to chew. I order a milk tea with regular bubbles. Milk tea was pour with straight milk, it was so bad all I could taste was milk. I couldn't even taste the tea. The bubbles were so hard and undercooked. I found out about this location from a promoted ad on my Facebook feed and was curious to see how this was compared to their neighbor Bambu in Partridge Creek. As soon as I walked in, I loved the aesthetic in the store and the decorations and the prices were great. My boyfriend got a Nutty Professor bubble waffle and loved it and I tried out the Nojito bubble tea. It exceeded my expectations, definitely tastes like a mojito and the sweet tapioca gave it a nice twist! I'm looking forward to trying more on the menu. read more

Such a huge disappointment!! We were so excited to try this new business but unfortunately we should have saved our money. It took 1 hour 5 min to receive 2 orders of basically expensive bad ice cream. The gelato had a bitter after taste and ended up in the garbage can after a ridiculously long wait. Ordered some through a food delivery service and while my order was correct it's very disappointing. The teas are very watered down, the taro is gritty somehow (similar to other reviews) and the coffee one was just plain at best. Slightly disappointed in how plain these are, especially given the price tag. Will not be ordering from this place again. read more
