The bar counter marble had backlighting, looks good. Flower bomb decor everywhere. They have a sign at the hostess table that they force a 20% gratuity for ALL Parties. What if your service sucks? At least they out it out that this forced 20% gratuity is going on your final bill. Glad we are seated at the bar, we tend to get better service at bars than in the dining area. Ordered an latte with oat milk and a green tea, western market hash, Greek salad with feta on the side, side of fruit, side of turkey bacon and side of turkey sausage too. $90.72 My husband asked why I got a yellow or off white tea cup and he got the pale pink tea cup. I told him maybe because he got a latte. Food is out, just waiting on some flatware is all. My husband is not ecstatic to see his western market hash bowl and toast are all in pink bowls and plates. The flatware was the last to arrive to the bar table. The latte and tea were so-so. The western market hash bowl is okay, kicked up the flavor profile with some Tabasco, was bland without the Tabasco. The turkey sausages are cooked nicely and decently flavored too. The turkey bacon is a tad overcooked. It's just ok. The Greek salad here comes in the half bowls that I am not a big fan of much, makes it harder to eat and cut up your salad to eat it, since most places try to fill the bowl to the top to avoid it looking skimpy. The red onions are crudely cut up, all different cuts and sizes and are not so fresh, discarded those mishaps out of my salad. Ended up dipping bits of the salad ingredients into the dressing ramekin, since it was difficult to cut up the salad until I was half way down into the salad. The dressing tastes like Italian dressing, not a Greek dressing, it reminded me some of the Wishbone Italian dressing. The Fruit bowl is chipped and some blueberries have some stems. The hostess cleans the menus between customers. My husband was right, none of my food items were on white plates and bowls. My husband got the pink bomb for his food and his drink too. The good part is subpar places like this keeps me from over eating. It's a fun place for some pics, but skip the food. read more

I came here in the summer (2024) with a group for brunch. The decorations are set to remind you of breakfast at Tiffany's. There are definitely opportunities to take photos with the art work. The food was excellent and there is a wide variety to chose from. Our server was able to provide recommendations on what they would have if it was their 1st time at the restaurant. I did make reservations for the brunch as it was a Sunday and there is the usual brunch crowds/church goers. I would definitely go back. We came here on a Tuesday right when they opened at 9:00. We were the only table for about an hour. We got seated right away. Service was a bit slow considering we were the only table in there. The bartenders and servers were chatting. The drinks took about 20 minutes to arrive and the wrong one was brought to my mom. She questioned it and they said no it's the correct one. About 10 minutes later they brought the correct drink. The menu lacks vegetarian options. The only not sweet option is a hash with tofu (gross!). So I ordered the gelato French toast, which was very good although I usually prefer savory breakfast. My mom got a hash which she enjoyed and my sister got the Pommes Anna and she did not like it. It was a cold potato pie with an egg on top and a side of potatoes and a meat sauce drizzle. We were informed they just changed ownership and will be revamping the menu soon. I would give it another try based on what the new menu looks like. The ambiance is very cute, especially for a girls brunch. Honestly I really enjoyed myself at Rose House brunch both times i've gone. The first time I went, it was for a bridal shower & the service was on point. The decor is so cute & perfect for anyone who's really into pink. My second time here was a year later for brunch & I still liked my experience. I saw a lot of reviews complaining about the food but I honestly can say that I never had anything that was terrible. I enjoyed my waffles, eggs & drinks. I had a flatbread at the bridal shower event & that was pretty good too. The only thing I would say is a con is that the portions are small (especially the drinks) but thats minor. Took my 25 y/o daughter to Rose House, while she was in from Boston.! She LOVED it! The food presentation and taste was amazing! I'm still thinking about the western market hash weeks later. The mimosa flight was also fun and seems to be made with fresh juices. The restaurant itself was very cute themed great for girl brunch! Definitely would recommend having a reservation otherwise there seemed to be a wait at any time. The only negative we had and my reason for 3 stars was there seems to be a time limit on how long you can dine there. My friend and I finished our meals and wanted to order more drinks, but were asked to leave to free up the table. We hadn't even been there that long, roughly an hour- hour and a half before we were asked to leave. I could understand if we weren't ordering more things, but we wanted to. We were both servers in the past and would never hold up a table without continuing to order more. This was my first time visiting Rose House Brunch. I took one of my friends here for her birthday, she selected the location. It was a solid pick! We both agreed that weed definitely come back again to try some other things on the menu. I liked that the menu was a small in know that everything was going to taste good yet or also had a nice variety of options. They had a new cocktail menu available when we went as well. It had just came out that day so they did not have printed cocktail menus available, but our waitress let us snap a photo of the menu she had on her phone. I had the steak and eggs and it was very delicious. The steak was well seasoned and cooked properly. The asparagus had some bite to it which I enjoy so it was not overcooked. A side of potatoes and they were crispy and delicious as well. My friend ordered The Monte Cristo Sandwich with a side of eggs and she enjoyed her food also. The cocktails were very delicious. I went with the old-fashioned and it was well made and had the Luxardo cherries that I prefer. My friend said her cocktail was good as well. They weren't too sweet which is always a win for us. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful with the menu. She checked in on his regularly and the speed of service was great. We didn't wait too long for our cocktails nor for our food. I had to speak on the beautiful decor. It had a art deco vibe but yet very minimalist and pretty. The colors went well together and the wall art was gorgeous. The seating is comfortable and has a velvet textured fabric. I was slightly surprised that the tip was pre-added for a table of two. I'm thrown when I see that for small parties. I get it for large ones but not so much for small ones. It is what it is. I think it's a good idea to have a reservation here because they were pretty busy. We took a plunge we booked a reservation for Sunday for 6 girls. On the side note they dont serve alcohol so dont expect mimosas or bloody Mary's as a brunch staple. I have ordered tea and it was nicely presented with a side of honey and lemon on the side. Ordered salmon Benny and It was not great it was constructed with avocado pieces on the bottom toped with hot salmon ( its not lox) and mushy tomato on top then egg and sauce just wrong all around. Came here for a birthday celebration. Been wanting to try out this place for a while now... make sure you make reservations ahead of time; they get booked, fast! First of all, this cafe is so aesthetically pleasing. My friends and I were so excited and our waitress was kind enough to help us take multiple photos. We were looking for a breakfast place in the Shelby Township area and when we looked online this came up with good reviews. When we arrived on a Thursday around 11 AM there was a 20 minute wait so we put our name on the waitlist and walked around the little strip mall there. The seats are very plush and colorful, and the theme is very trendy. I feel like in a brief period of time the seating will have food spilled all over it but that's just my opinion I don't think it's very practical for restaurant seating but it's very pretty and comfortable. So the menu is a little bit more limited than a typical breakfast and brunch type restaurant but I ordered a goat omelette which is made out of goat cheese, mushrooms, vegetables and egg whites, my friend ordered the classic breakfast. We both ordered the house potatoes. When my omelette arrived, the vegetables were not mixed in with the egg white. You could actually flip it open and look what was inside, and I realize there was no goat cheese in it, which was supposed to be the main reason it was called the goat omelette, the waitress came over and asked what was wrong, and when I explained to her and showed her she offered to bring a side of goat cheese , which is OK but it's not like being cooked into an omelette. The manager must've noticed what was going on and she came over and we explained and again I showed her what was going on with my omelette and she offered to make a new one. However, it took about an hour to get my first omelette and we are very hungry, so I really didn't feel like waiting for a second omelette. Although this was cute and trendy and has big plans, my first impressions were not very good because how do you forget goat cheese in an omelette called the goat, and I believe they should've given me a discount off the bill which they didn't, and I really think they didn't know how to make an omelette because like I said, the egg should be mixed in with the vegetables, it shouldn't you shouldn't be able to flip it open and Look at the vegetables. The house potatoes were very delicious that much I can say. Another issue I have with this restaurant are the restrooms. They have one stall for the men and one stall for the women and the first time I went to the bathroom there were four people in line. The second time I went. There were two people in line so for such a large crowd to only have one stall probably isn't a good idea . I understand this restaurant just opened a month ago and they plan to get their liquor license and do some more remodeling but they decided to do what they called a "soft" opening so I may come back and try them again I always try and keep an open mind. read more

Was not greeted by the bartender didn't know her name just a "can I get you something besides water" . While waiting we noticed a lady on the restaurant side of the kitchen I believe to be check orders, who proceeded to talk over ever dish that came out the kitchen until my date requested that she not because it made him uncomfortable. We ordered the mini mimosa tower, steak crostini w/scrambled eggs, and chicken and waffles. The Steak Crostini did not come it how I requested even after the bartender turnaround pointed at me to confirm what I ordered. I ended up not eating my dish at all. First time here and my experience was a very pleasant one, the music is laid back, the decor inside is adorable with flowers everywhere . At first I tried the rose coffee latte then me and the hubby got the coffee flight. I tried the lamb & beef hash , he got the lamb & beef omelet with house potatoes.
