However, the last time I took her to get groomed, the wait time was 8+ hours. To me, this is totally unacceptable. I had to pick her up without getting groomed and the whole experience just was disappointing. We will not be going back. But! You could just tell them ahead of time you need your dog to be done with a certain amount of time. I will be doing this moving forward (at a different salon).

She LOVES going to Gia's and goes crazy when we ask her if she's ready for her spa day. They always take such great care of her and even allowed my wife to come pick her up on her lunch breaks when she had an office job. The deshedding works so well and they do a great job with her nails (which are next to impossible to do at home --with a Dremel tool) because most of her quicks are black. Last year, we adopted a border collie/Australian cattle dog mix. He is kinda shy at times and initially had problems even going into Gia's. She and her staff were so accommodating and they had us just do a few visits to the front so that he could get used to the sights and smells (and of course he was rewarded with plenty of treats)! One he was used to the inside, they slowly started working him in at the end of the day (or when there was a gap between clients) so he wouldn't have to stay in the kennel due to his anxiety. He's gotten so much better... and while he still can't get the full services our other dog does, he's done so much better and can now get a bath and his nails trimmed. They have been so great working with him! Gia's also has the best products. From food, treats, toys, and accessories, they are all vetted by Gia herself. If you buy something there, you can bet it's one the safest and best products around. Everyone in the shop is fantastic. Highly recommend!

She was sad, skittish, moping around like she wasn't feeling well... Just too much to explain clearly. Even a friend came to visit and notice something was "off" with our little Luna. I spoke with Deanna about it and she assured me that nothing happened while there. So I decided to take her back after being promised by Deanna that she herself would only care for Luna. The next (and final) visit Luna came home with a could large gashes an as scratches avoid her little belly (see pictures). We were mortified! I texted Deanna after seeing them because by then it was after hours. I received a text back from someone else staying that she had finished Luna for Deanna, and that she was sorry that sometimes the clippers get to close to the skin. UNBELIEVABLE! NEVER again will I return to her shop with my sweet little girl. I just don't understand. That's ridiculous. I do understand that this last has several new groomers. But seriously, I just can't take my baby back. I have a small 10 lb Schnoodle. She so sweet and docile. She came home from the groomers totally traumatized from something. Small she was suddenly scared to take her walls when my husband takes her out. He said everytime she hears a dog barking, she tries to run back home. Something had to have happened... We think she may have been attacked from another did while they're at the groomers, but was rescued quickly. Which would explain literally everything that her behavior is telling us. (Previous review before 2026) ***** I've been entrusting Deanna with my babies for almost 30 years now. She treats them all like they are her own. They go to her happily each visit, and come home just as happy. Actually, they tend to parade around proudly showing off their new cut. She does a stellar iob grooming and caring for them. I will ONLY trust my babies with this groomer. I highly recommend her.

I was a bit nervous to see what groomers were out there, but I saw that this place had excellent reviews and in this case, it was an emergency I had found a tick on my dog and wanted to make sure that we took precautions got him groomed and treated. I called the puppy parlor and right away. They booked me for the first availability that they had the same day. It was a miracle and I was so grateful to be able to get a spot. They were very professional and thorough. They asked me questions about the dog. If I had any concerns, they listed the pricing over the phone of their services so I had an idea before walking in once I got off the phone they sent me a confirmation text and a form to fill out that was super easy to do any additional questions that I had the team was on and super quick to respond and pass along any messages I have for the groomer. When I got to the location to drop off Jack, they were very friendly super quick with checking us in the groomer came out and she was amazing. She made sure to introduce herself to Jack. She went over any concerns that I had or that she has regarding the grooming, great communication skills overall, and I'd love that she made sure that my dog felt safe with her before she took him. She even got to ground-level to introduce herself once I dropped off Jack. They let me know that they would call me and then I can go pick them up. They sent me a text once he was ready and I went to go pick up Jack once I got inside they immediately brought him out and he looked amazing. He was clean. He was happy which is overall the best thing that I can expect he didn't seem scared or skittish he seemed confident and a happy pup. The grooming came out. Perfect he smelled amazing his nails and everything was done perfect perfectly. I am thrilled to have found this place and will definitely be coming back for our regular grooming. When we were done with washing and conditioning, the lady at the counter helped me with the dryer. The only downside was that I found out after we left that for an extra charge, they will help you clip my pup's nails. So we missed out on that, however I'm sure my pup was fine with that.
