The service is great, the dog loves coming here and I find it well worth the extra time it takes to get here. It's still the same owner, still showing the same care and love for the dogs. I brought my 12-pound rescue to a 12:30 pm appointment. After two full hours, I went to see if she was ready. Nope. Rather, I was told it would be another 40 minutes!. When I finally picked her up at 3:30, a full three hours after her appointment, the cut was splotchy, and they didn't touch her face or her bum, both of which I specifically requested. She had obvious "pink" spots where you could tell the groomer cut too deeply, and skipped other areas. Just a mess! If you've ever rescued a dog, especially my sweetheart from a puppy mill, you know their attachment to their owner is pretty strong, and my precious girl languishing there while they make appointments they have no intention of keeping is highly detrimental. First time customer to Bubbles N Bones gave specific instructions to not cut my Bernedoodle to short!!! Supplied photos of how I wanted my pup groomed, what I got back was a shaved down puppy who looks like a freak!!! They said he was matted but I brush him twice a day and if that was the case before you do something a customer specifically asked you not to do, then you should have called them and given them a choice if they wanted to move forward with the grooming, instead you took it upon yourself to shave him down and go against what your customer asked for!!! Shame on you and now I just want to cry every time I look at him. I will not be taking my pup here ever again and in fact never to another groomer ever! Just a horrible experience read more

My dog was injured by groomer and we weren't informed by staff I would like to speak with the owner / proprietor of the bubbles and bones dog grooming in Seaford / Massapequa . I recently brought my 7th month old puppy there for his summer grooming. After picking up the dog and bringing it home I observed a rounded red mark what looked like a burn on his rear left leg. I was startled by the discovery and more disappointed that your staff did not inform us of the injury. I could understand accidents with active puppies during grooming. The fact that this wasn't discussed with me is unprofessional. To say that they didn't notice would be a poor testimony to your quality control practices prior to a pet being returned to its owner. The following week I took my dog to our veterinarian. He asked as to when the dog was groomed. He noted that from his observation it looked like a "razor" burn. This could have only occurred during your grooming session. After applying topical and oral meds my puppy is on the mend If this is an example of the quality of your work and communication with your clients, you should be embarrassed! Unfortunately, after using this place for years, we will not be returning. My dog left there with an obvious cut on his face that looked like the groomer used too sharp of a blade (which was admitted by the owner) and went down to his skin. The owner took ownership yet the groomer said it was a rash. How is it possible for it to be a rash when you can visibly tell that area is shorter than the others making it seem like she knew she messed up. The groomers name was Flora (or something like that) and do not recommend her at all. For me to come home and find my dog like that is unacceptable and unprofessional. Accidents happen but take responsibility for your actions and notify the pets owners BEFORE leaving and paying (especially tipping). I will not be recommending this place to anyone and am very disappointed in their actions. read more

Went here last minute a week ago. My dog got into the garden beds that we just fertilized and she stank pretty good. They took her with short notice and gave her multiple baths to get her back to her fresh self. Also got the teeth, ear etc cleaning. Prices were reasonable, service was great. I've only delt with her twice and both times the owner is very rude and nasty. My other needed me to pick up her dog. They had the dog from 11 in the morning finally called to say that the dog was ready at 4:30 I explained that I was coming from Freeport and it would take a while and I had to go to an arm to pay her. She called again at 459 demanding to know where I was because she closes at 5. Second time dealing with her, I broght the dog in at 10 told her she needed to be ready by 2 so I could get her because I had to be somewhere by 3. She says, "well can't someone else get her?" I explained no, my mother and sister were going to jersey to make a siva call and she says "well your mother should have told me" right cause you can schedule when someone dies.
