Updated review: After the frustrations posted below, Bubbles reached out, apologized, and asked for another chance. We agreed and they arrived this morning to clean the windows. I will say that this time everything went just great. The dispatch called ahead, and the cleaners came during the given timeframe with the correct ladders! Everyone was very nice and really did a great job. If this were our first attempt/experience I easily would have given 5 stars. That said, I really respect a company that asks for another chance and then delivers on it. We will very likely use this company again next time. Original: This company has been completely useless for us. The first time they sent someone out we warned them that we had high windows and they didn't bring a ladder big enough so we had to cancel. Frustrating, but whatever, mistakes happen. Later we tried them again, and were very clear about the height of our windows, which was on the purchase order and everything. The workers still didn't bring a high enough ladder so we just had to cancel again. To top it off, both times they didn't call ahead to let us know they were on their way, which they promise to do (we have large dogs that are often outside). And after this last time the worker said he would call the office and figure out next steps for us, then sat on his phone for 5 minutes before just driving away without saying a word. 1990s cable repair, us post office and the social security office are all more reliable than Bubbles Window Washing. I had to reschedule - count it - THREE times over the course of weeks and ended up canceling altogether. Each time they gave me an arrival window and then never showed up or contacted me, making me call the dispatcher for updates. When the estimated arrival time moved from morning to afternoon to evening I was forced to reschedule days - multiple times- before finally canceling. This place SUCKS. read more

If you want your screens broken while getting your windows cleaned, hire bubbles. And all they will tell you is that they will give you reimbursement for the screen damage, will take 0 responsibility to get it fixed and install it for you. They broke 2 out of my 5 screens on 2 different occasions and will take no responsibility to fix. I don't even understand why would they touch my screens to clean my windows. My windows tilt so all they have to do is tilt them and clean them. There's no need to remove my screens, other companies I hired do not remove my screens. read more

I've had frustrating experiences with Bubbles. My first experience with Bubbles was for a gutter clean out. They attempted to charge significantly higher than the quoted price, but eventually (after many phone calls) fixed this. They also noted on my record what the gutter clean-out price should be going forward. After that, I had not had further issues with the gutter clean-outs, and we have used Bubbles twice a year for quite some time. We now need a small downspout section replaced. It took Bubbles a significant amount of time to come out and give me a quote (even though we had this exact same service with Bubbles in the past). After the quote, my request to schedule an appointment to complete the service was ignored multiple times. Bubbles finally was able to schedule the downspout replacement/repair for a full month after the quote date. However, due to weather they are now pushing the appointment at least another week. We are hoping to have our gutters cleaned out at the same time as this downspout repair, and I fear that winter weather is going to continue to be an issue. Most companies I've worked with since Covid have been going above and beyond to serve their customers well, so it has been even more shocking to receive such poor service in these times. read more

Just had all of my windows cleaned by Bubbles. I only had the outside windows cleaned and the screens. But, they do clean the interior of windows as well. My windows are rather easy for me to clean throughout the year, but to have them professionally cleaned once every Spring after a harsh Chicago winter is worth it in my opinion. Of all the quotes I received, Bubbles was the most reasonable. I do not mean they were the least expensive, but I felt their price was fair for the size of my house. Kristiana gave me my quote and worked with me to adjust it as I needed. She was extremely helpful and kind. My technician was just an absolute gem. He was so kind and did exactly what I asked. He was also extremely easy to work with. My windows look amazing! He is very good at his job. Bubbles has a forever customer with me. I'll definitely have them back next Spring. Really appalling service. Spoke to the sales team and the first time they were super friendly and responsive to get me a quote. Then the day of cleaning the windows and gutters came and I got a text they couldn't do it and they would reschedule us. After several follow ups they eventually rescheduled us for gutters but 2 weeks out but no windows, saying it would have to be above 35 F. It will be above 35F for next 10 days so I called to reschedule the windows, the sales person wanted to call me back, never did. Called again and Meggie Wood in sales was so rude and then hung up when I asked her why she never shared the 35 F rule, nor why they are now saying nothing will be scheduled till spring. I lost several weeks now to get someone out here and it might not happen. Very disappointing read more

Office person is very responsible. They came early which is great. During the cleaning I was like oh great that was fast. However when my roofing guys came over to do a free inspection they noticed my downspout was loose and then we checked the downspout and it was plugged with dirt and debris. So for the most part I was happy just wished they would've taken care of that downspout. read more

By far the lowest price and easiest gutter company I've dealt with. I have an extra high roof, need a 40ft ladder. Not an issue for Bubbles and they didn't try to overcharge for the tall roof. Will be using them for all my gutter needs going forward. read more

This was my first time using Bubbles. Prices are better than others. There were 13 windows with storms and some screens to do and this was all done by one person in about 2 hours. And the best part was the young man who showed up. I was very happy with Jose's work. From the minute he removed his shoes before entering to the completion of the job I was impressed and pleased . He was courteous, conscientious, and quietly efficient. He even went over an area of the leaded windows a second time because there was seepage which was very thorough.  I will be recommending your company and Jose. read more

My experience with Bubbles was extremely poor. I had an gutter repair estimate scheduled between 11a-3p. I was woken up at 9am by a phone call from Bubbles alerting me that the technician was running early and had just arrived. They offered me to take 15 minutes to get myself together and then let the technician onto my property. I walked out the door 15 minutes later, couldn't find the technician, and called Bubbles to find out that the technician had apparently let himself onto my property without my consent, done a quick inspection, surmised that all I needed was a gutter cleaning, and left to go to the next job. Of course, I was absolutely livid that this had happened, but also very skeptical that the technician had actually looked at anything, because if he did, he would have seen that there are portions of gutter not properly attached my roof, which I why I called for an estimate in the first place. I then called the office person to ask that the tech come back after this next job. She refused the request and said he might be able to come back at the end of the day. I asked to speak to a manager, who never ended up calling me back. But I did have to call the office several times during the day to get updates on what was actually going on. The tech did show up later in the day and, this time, actually did inspect all the problems with my gutters and provided a much more detailed inspection. It's too bad I had to waste my entire day waiting around for this company to complete a simple task. I absolutely will not be having Bubbles do any work because they appear to be unreliable and uncaring of their customers' time. read more

This is the second year in a row that I have used Bubbles, not for window washing but for gutter cleaning. Got a two story home with some gutters that are too high for me to reach with my ladder, or anybody's ladder for that matter. Bubbles arrives when they say they'll arrive and get the gutters clean. I can see the first floor gutters are clean, can't see the roof gutters but they don't overflow in a rain storm like they did before Bubbles cleaned them. Reasonable prices. The crew did not bring ladders to clean my gutters. As such, they could not reach them. I declined to sign off on the service delivered given they did not clean my gutters. I have used Bubbles for several years, and the crew used to be great. Not sure what has happened recently with personnel, but my most recent job i had all my windows cleaned inside and out, along with grates. The guys left streaks and drips on 95% of the windows, left all our windows unlocked and screens dangling (without telling us), and knocked a security sensor off. Bubbles asked for feedback, and I told them i was very disappointed with the job. The customer service rep apologized profusely and scheduled a "re-do" from 11-3 later the next week. That day came, and the crew arrived at 5:30pm with no call or anything to tell me they would be 2.5 hours past a 4 hour window! I was in the middle of feeding my children dinner and told them it wasn't convenient. Customer service apologized profusely AGAIN, and scheduled a 2nd "redo" - saying the operations manager was aware it was a priority...blah blah... Guess what happened? They were supposed to come from 11-3, and at 4:30 that day, still no arrival, no phone call, NOTHING! Pretty unbelievable. Was never offered any sort of discount or incentive, on what was a very large and expensive job. Will NEVER use again, and advise against anyone else using them. read more

Do you enjoy dealing with the Cable company, Airline customer service, or waiting in line at the DMV? If so I have the perfect company for you! I used bubbles for some window cleaning a few months back. I decided to pay a premium price for what I expected was premium service. They showed up at the wrong time and after some back and forth Bubbles made me whole by sending them a second time to fix what was wrong. Ok no biggie, things happen, i'm sure it's just a one time thing. Now I have some gutters that need to be cleaned. Figured I already had a contact at the company so reached out and got an appointment. So my appointment is at 8 A.M. - 10 A.M. on a Thursday. I called Wednesday night explaining that since I don't live at this house I was wondering if they could check and see if they would get a tighter window and was told I would be the first appointment at 8 A.M. I call on Thursday morning at 7:30 A.M. and speak to a dispatcher who confirms I am the first stop. After arriving at my house I wait, and wait, and wait. Finally at 9:30, nearing the end of the window I call for the third time in 16 hours time. The reply? "Is it ok if they show up by noon?". NO! When I have taken a morning off of work and comutted across the city to be somewhere just to have people neglect any semblance of courtesy after being called multiple times to confirm? NO! Is there a reason I am paying a premium price just to get no-showed? If your time is literally worth nothing and you live for a life of hassle and being jerked around (and paying a premium price for this) then this place is perfect for your needs. We hired Bubbles to do window cleaning. I was surprised that they were able to come out the next morning, which was great. There prices were very reasonable. I was glad they offer screen-cleaning services. Francisco was an excellent technician. Our windows are old and defective, and not easy to clean--he managed without breaking anything or having any problems. My only complaint was that whoever did scheduling had overbooked him, and therefore he was late. At least the company did text and phone me to let me know that. I was also impressed that the Bubbles followed up the next day to make sure I was satisfied. I will definitely use them again. read more

We recently worked with this company to wash our windows and home exterior. We wanted everyone to know what a terrific job this company did. Our house literally looks brand new! Our technician, Marco, came on time, with a mask on. Marco was extremely polite and wore booties on his shoes to minimize the mess. He spent the entire day working on the house. Most important, we cannot say enough about Marco. He did the entire job on his own, and was meticulous about every detail. I found them on Yelp but at the time they didn't have 1 review so I took a chance. We used them to clean our gutters (2 story home with insanely tall gutters on the 2nd level) after our gutters got clogged. After calling other companies who didn't even respond to my phone calls in this economy, these guys were good on the phone. They were flexible on the price, $90 for a 2 story home. We setup to come out one day and it was phone tag, they finally told me after waiting a few hours, they can't come until the next day b/c of someone else's big job. Fine...I reluctantly waited, but my windows were leaking because of the gutter problem. :( So that was inconvenient. When the guy came, he did an overall good job, but I suggest you be there to watch over. I don't trust anyone on my roof without me watching. For their safety and for the safety of my home, and thoroughness of the job. He cleaned the gutters and I was surprised he didn't flush them or the downspouts with water. Our last guy did that and it was good and thorough. I asked him to flush the downspouts (not clogged) but they had some residue in there. I bet he wouldn't have if I wasn't there. He left a good amount of debris on the ground but I picked it up myself as he removed my gutter guards at no extra charge (that was a positive, other companies wanted $20 to remove those useless, cheap gutter guards that make the problem worse - don't buy them!). The upsetting thing was there was a SIGNIFICANT language barrier with the man who washed our gutters. When I'm paying nearly $100, I want good communication. Update: I now give this company 1 star. Expect to be on the 'mailing list' with probably expensive glossy postcards that I'm sure I paid for indirectly. Expect to get annoying 'we're in the area, can we do your home?' phone calls. I contacted a local landscaping company and for $40 (licensed and insured!), they did all my gutters and they're beautiful. I can get it done with them 2x per year for the price of Bubbles. They cleaned 3 of 4 downspouts leaving one completely compacted with debris. I contacted them asking for an explanation after mentioning I had already replaced the downspout. Their solution was to send over their field supervisor to clean out, my brand new, clean downspout at a charge of $40. Despite their own site stating the following: "Bubbles Window Washing & Gutter Cleaning is dedicated to your complete satisfaction. If you are not happy with your service, you can call us and we will come out to completely reclean your home, free of charge, seven days after your service date!" They give you a quote over the phone and set up an appointment right away. The other companies that I contacted needed to set up an appointment to give a quote, then set up an appointment for the service. Their prices are soooooooo reasonable and they have coupons. My gutters are clear, but the job was a little sloppy. Lots of pine needles on my porch, outdoor furniture, and patio. Emailed photos and played phone tag with the company to rectify. Never connected. Just mailed them check and cleaned up myself. UPDATE: Owner contacted me to rectify. Added a star for his integrity. Will give them another shot next time I need cleaning. read more

DRAGGING the ladder from the second floor to the first floor bouncing on half of the steps while I'm asking please can you lift up the ladder so you don't damage the floors... I was shocked! Plus in one of the bedrooms, they dragged the desk across the floor scarring the wood floor, which when I heard it from the first floor I thought it was one of the windows being opened but it wasn't it was something dragging across the floor... can't make this up... and then we had to pay for the windows after the damage was already done... never again read more

I contacted Bubbles late in the fall season for a group gutter-cleaning for my neighbors. Where other places criticized us for waiting so long, Bubbles was very quick to respond with a quote and get something scheduled. We were offered a group rate and they came out the morning of a snow storm to get us all taken care of (6 houses in total). The man who cleaned the gutters was amazing, he honestly was like spider man up there!! We were all very satisfied and grateful that they could fit us in! read more
