There are numbers to call, hopefully if a male voice answers, he will be in a better mood than what I encounter on one day. As once before I was offered the return funds. For the most part, this is a very quaint neighborhood laundry mat, with really nice people. We all have exhausted and bad days, ergo.. I do recommend this place: albeit the bathroom is locked, only time you may use it if one of the family members are present with a key (not often). The machines work well, the dryers work well. I advise NOT purchasing the "CARD" unless your plan is to use it a great deal, then you may save a few quarters, the purchase of the card is in the front left side of the doorway vending machine for $2.00; read your details and calculate. There is a quarter machine in the back, it works well. Or go to your bank and get a $10 roll of quarters. Overall, decent place!!! Amenable people, lots of choices in machine sizes.

If you don't know how to do the job, admit it and turn down the project. I have always had a good experience here...good, clean, new machines. The owner is always helpful. I go on weekdays early to avoid crowds. There are coffee shops nearby too, which makes doing laundry a more palatable chore. Although I've never paid to have my laundry done, the clothes I see hanging and folded ( that they do) look really nice. If I were going to hire this job out, this is where I would take it.

They have to do the unbuttoning and it makes their fingers crack which I felt terrible about.

When I clicked the referral link, I was forced to sign up, enter my personal and card details before I could even schedule a pickup. At no point was I informed of the price per bag. My laundry was picked up, and THEN I was hit with an outrageous $82 invoice! The original cost was $104, but I had a $25 referral credit. When I called to ask why the price was so high, I was told it was $35 per bag. This pricing was NEVER disclosed on the website when I signed up--if it had been, I never would have gone through with the pickup! I immediately told them that if my laundry hadn't been washed yet, I wanted it returned without service. They confirmed that nothing had been done yet and that they would return my laundry the next day. But then they had the audacity to charge me $35 just for picking it up. Excuse me? $35 for absolutely nothing? That's complete robbery! I reluctantly agreed, just wanting my laundry back. But then the next morning, I found out they didn't even adjust my invoice and still charged my card the full $82. I had to call AGAIN, and the agent admitted it was a mistake and that I should have only been charged $40. I corrected her--I was told the minimum order charge was $35, not $40. She backtracked and said, "Oh, yes, you're right, it's $35." Clearly, they don't even know their own pricing! To make matters worse, my invoice STILL hasn't been adjusted, and my card is STILL charged for $82. And guess what? I went back to check their website, and now it says they charge $29.99 per bag instead of $35. So are they just making up prices as they go?! This company is a scam, a complete ripoff. They pick up your laundry, don't disclose their insane pricing, and then hold it hostage while forcing you to pay for services you didn't even receive. I want my FULL REFUND IMMEDIATELY. Do NOT trust HappyNest unless you want to be overcharged and scammed out of your money. BEWARE!

After visiting Starbrite Laundry in Glenwood Springs, I can see there is a definite contrast. Wavemax has plenty of space with benches and tables, TVs (showing cartoons), and outlets for charging devices. Starbrite is cramped, lacks seating unless you don't mind being in someone's way, and one tiny tv that wasn't turned on. Starbrite is expensive! 25 cents gets you four minutes on low dry temp vs approx $2 to dry for nearly an hour on low temp at WaveMax. However, Wavemax requires that you load a credit card type of device while Starbrite requires quarters. No detergent is sold at either place, so good things we stopped at Target beforehand for a small box of eco-friendly detergent sheets. Service was friendly and helpful at both locations.
