Love this place! Who says that about a gas station??? Well it's more than a gas station. Great food, decor for your home, accessories, etc. The beef brisket sandwich is one of the popular items. It's advertised on the billboards along the interstate. There are over 120 pumps more than enough to handle the traffic flow throughout the day and night. Signs are posted "No Trucks" assuming this is for 18 wheelers. If you're in the area, stop in for gas/food/decor. I guarantee you you will be back! read more

At the risk of being attacked and, I'm going to criticize Buc-ee's. They have the ordering kiosks which you used to be able to order things they don't have always available or the ability to modify things, but now all you can order are chicken strips and fries. They've added some new sandwiches like the club that has spicy mayonnaise, pesto, ham, turkey, bacon, cheese, and sun-dried tomatoes. I asked if it could be modified to at least not have the spicy mayonnaise and pesto on it, and he said no. If they're going to have a sandwich like that with very specific ingredients that people may not like, you should be able to get it with or without sauce. Perhaps even some with sauces and some without if you're not going to have the kiosk available to order it. I understand they just try to get people in and out and don't wanna be bothered with orders, but you also may turn people away, like us who didn't bother to order anything. I was so unhappy about bringing dismissed like that, I decided not to do any shopping at all. read more

Made to order food, freshly cut meats, fresh made sandwiches being packed right in front of you, camping equipment, sandals, home decor, convenience store items and drinks and food and beaded items - wow. We went to this location on a Sunday afternoon (5/15/22). It was crowded and manic. Everything Buc-ee was around us, and so were the people. They all seemed to be enjoying themselves, carrying baskets full of hand picked items. It was overwhelming. We left without buying anything. We didn't really need gas, but the price was right ($3.84). They had lots of pumps, and they had cars at every one of those pumps. Instead of gas, we decided to return to the interstate and our journey home. It took us about 15 minutes to find the exit, and turn left on to the side road leading to the interstate. Friends told us that we HAD to stop if we ever saw a Buc-ees. We did. We won't be back. read more

First of all, I would like to acknowledge Buc-ee's for paying their employees so well, giving them excellent health benefits, retirement benefits, and automatically 3 full paid weeks' vacation. There are people with master's degrees working white-collar jobs who only get 1 week of paid vacation a year, zero retirement benefits, and horrible health benefits, so great work Buc-ee! Moving on this is the first Buc-ee's were ever stopped in. After driving past one in Alabama, I thought hey, check this place out. They pretty much have everything one can think of and their bathrooms are clean (while walking inside they have three staff members cleaning it). As Richard R mentioned they have 120 gas pumps. So you will never come here and have to wait to use a pump. We purchased some BBQ sandwiches, salads, banana pudding, and some of their beef jerky. Their staff was very friendly too and the service here is great. I would suggest reading their ingredients and some of their food has WAY too many ingredients inside, and go with a healthier option. Overall though, they have something here for everyone. Definitely would be great to see more of these Buc-ee's, but with its large size, I can only imagine that will be a challenge. I'm sorry to say I can't say too much about this location as we only stop to use the restrooms. Walking through it looked like a very typical Buc-ee's with all the usual fare available. I will say that the bathrooms were not as clean as I am used to from them but still in better shape than most gas stations. It is really hard to walk through one of these and not buy something because everything smells so good. I do truly enjoy a hot meal when I stop through usually. read more

Must. Find. Beaver. We managed to stop at this location northbound and southbound and both experiences were very pleasant. I noticed that the gas price was at least 20 cents cheaper than the surrounding area, which was a good deal, and whenever I can find a clean restroom is great. Coffees are brewed on a regular basis so that you don't get a cup sitting for hours. First time we tried the chopped brisket sandwiches that I was dreaming about since our last trip. This time I had a chicken salad wrap with the famous beaver chips, very tasty as well. It was actually too much for a light lunch. Hubby had the brisket sandwich with cheetos packed as Buc-ees brand. Two complaints - no place to sit to eat the sandwich and every time we buy snacks it's $30, a little pricey. Even though we got the fabulous chocolate chip cookies it's still alot of money. If you ask hubby, he'd love a good burger on the menu but I'm still waiting to hear "Brisket on the board"!! read more

Wow! This place is the size of a Macy's. They are a gas station, convenient store, mini-mart, department store, fast food joint, toy store, bakery, spice house, jerky depot and EV charging station all combined into one. They have so much variety you can easily spend a few hours browsing. If you get hungry while you are filling up, charging up or just making a pit stop you hav to try one on those signature Brisket Sandwiches. In addition to all the packaged food throughout the store they have multiple food stations: breakfast bar, hot dogs and burgers, pizza, salad and sub bar, chicken tenders and even a bakery with restaurant quality desserts. Have you ever gone to a gas station with shopping carts??? You have to see it for yourself to believe all they hype. So if you are in the area make the pit stop. The experience is so worth it. Clean restrooms! Always a favorite stop for gas and food. Only one concern - the new boxes for the homemade potato chips (beaver chips). The chips are hard and stale! Bring back the paper bag/cups. Could not eat but a few chips and threw half a box away. Other than that a great stop. read more

This is the fourth Buc-ee's that I hav visited in three states. This is a chain that is truly growing and they are truly deserving of this significant growth rate. Buc-ee's not only embraces the old adage that everything is bigger in Texas, they actually are setting out to show the world that this bold statement is indeed fact. Buc-ee's is far beyond just a typical gas station, they are beyond a commonplace travel plaza. Buc-ee's is best described as an experience upon itself. There is an endless line of gas pumps, plenty of parking, so much so that it almost appears like it's a shopping center (and in many ways it is), the inside is full of trinkets and they have a surprisingly good amount of food. One of my go-to things at Buc-ee's is there a fantastic beef jerky. This is seriously good beef jerky and I strongly recommend that you stop in and pick some up. With Buc-ee's now expanding in Alabama, Florida, and now Georgia, it is only a matter of time until it will be Bucky's spread throughout the southeastern United States. This trip I had the chopped brisket sandwich (delicious), a jalapeño sausage cheese kolache (good, but I wish the sausage was chopped up inside of the kolache) Korean BBQ jerky, Cherry Maple jerky (my favorite), Sea Salted caramel beaver nuggets (pretty sweet for my tastes). Next time I want to get a Paddle Tail, sausage on a stick, double chocolate brownie, pulled pork sandwich, Honey Jalopeno jerky and the Bold and Spicy Buc-ee's Nug-ee's. read more

***Disappointed For The First Time*** I went in on January 1, 2024 on my way back to Florida, and I had my usual which is a Turkey sandwich, fresh chips and so forth. But wow I was blown when I open up my sandwich, I have been eating this turkey sandwich for a while. PLEASE TEACH YOUR EMPLOYEES TO PAY MORE ATTENTION FOR THE AMOUNT OF MEAT THEY PUT IN THE SANDWICH. The amount of meat was at least half of what I normally get when I buy this sandwich. MGMT: WE DO PAY PREMIUM $$$ FOR THIS SANDWICH, the least that we can get is consistency in the amount of meat. This sandwich was probably worth maybe $2 for what I got. This place is as big as I've heard it all over social media. It's as big as Super Walmart! Has hundreds of gas pumps. Has a deli inside. A fudge station. To go food to order. Just lots and lots of things. The very supervising thing I was impressed on was the fast service for the order you put on the kiosk. You are given a number upon ordering and then they call your number to pick up the order. You might wait 10-20mins but you can literally walk the entire store once and your order will be ready. So the billboards are cute. Catchy sayings. We have never seen a Buc-ee's as we spent most of our lives in NY and the west coast of Florida. So, on our drive back from Tennessee we vowed to hot one on our ride down 75. Wow! Seriously, you gotta see this to believe it. No exaggeration, 100 gas pumps, mostly full. A super-Walmart sized parking lot. And that's outside. Inside in no order, clothing store, hardware store, feed store, smokers, BBQ pits and grills, souvenirs, candy, ice cream, nuts of every kind and flavor, house-made sausages & jerky, cake, daily fresh baked goods, and I am sure I missed something. Then the bathrooms. Big, spacious, clean and enough to accommodate dozens at a time. Hundreds of employees with starting wages at $15/hr with three weeks paid vacation and a 401k! Food you ask? Fresh smoked pork, pulled and served up fresh in batches, Fresh store made Brisket, chicken, roast beef and more. Hundreds of customers. Wow. We ordered fresh sliced roast beef with horseradish, melted Swiss, lettuce on a toasted roll. Outstanding. Wow. This is a rest stop...nah..it's an excellent takeaway restaurant with lotsa gas, snacks galore and award worthy restrooms. read more

Man on man, where do I start?! Buc-ee's is like the Costco of gas stations, a mixture of bass pro shop and Kirkland's and a barbecue joint? I'm a Texan through and through so I was ECSTATIC when I found one was opening on one of the most boring drives ever (ATL to FLA). I've stopped here several times now, and let me tell you this. I will plan on stopping here every time. However, if the the traffic is backed up onto the exit ramp or the parking lot is COMPLETELY full, it's going to be a hard pass from me next time. One fatal flaw of this Buc-ee's is cutting out that third entrance door. Or even more, they made it too small. I swear, On Holidays and weekends there could be one of the other side of 75 and they would still both be packed. Buc-ee's is known for clean and plentiful bathrooms, which they are. But I have never waited in a line at a Buc-ee's until stopping at this location. And on more than one occasion. (And I've been to a lot of Buc-ee's). Maybe Buc-ee's has learned other states can still handle the giant stores--since the largest location ever built will be opening in Tennessee soon. On another note, we were informed we were having a family Christmas rescheduled for the next day, so we stopped here and bought Christmas presents for all the kids and adults. You can find everything from sporting goods, clothing, accessories, home goods, kitchen items, and outdoor items. They also serve fresh breakfast tacos in the morning, and fresh barbecue sandwiches for lunch and dinner. You should definitely stop here on your next road trip, unless the traffic is backed up onto 75--then just come back next time! read more

Wow. First time coming in. My husband has a diesel truck and we stopped in because we read the fuel prices were the best around. My husband was thrilled that he could get DEF along with his diesel. Not all pumps had it but the ones toward the back do and are clearly marked. Sadly we were tight on time so I just ran in to use the restroom and grabbed two chopped brisket sandwiches for us. I could have spent much more time here. Based on everything I saw, the prices were super reasonable. I really wanted a t-shirt but didn't see my size in the ones displayed and didn't have the time to go back and look at the entire selection. Next time. My sandwich was fantastic. Large and full of meat. The sauce was really tasty. Made for a great lunch. I will actually look forward to coming to another Buc-ee's and spending more time looking around. I can definitely see why people have to make a stop here, this place is huge! There are plenty of fueling stations so you don't have to worry about that. Gas is also cheaper here too! The inside is huge, like a supermarket and there are tons of things from food to snacks to seasonal decor. The staff isn't too friendly but they are hiring and post their pay readily available for everyone to see -- which is a plus because it's a good wage for those looking for a job. Their food isn't bad, their ghost pepper jerky is bomb but definitely will start a fire in your stomach. Brisket sandwich is pretty good. Definitely top tier sandwich from all the other BBQ places I've had. This place is pretty cool and we would definitely stop by again! read more

The first time I ever visited a Buc-ee's it was quite the adventure I can say the same about the first time I ever visited a Walmart if you get my drift. Buc-ee's has targeted the interstate system much as Stuckey's did in their hay-day I was also excited about them or at least their pecan logs if my memories serve me right. They certainly have a vast collection of oddities and convenient stations around the store that are a little over the top in their individual categories e.g. ginormous coffee bar, endless jerky options, soda for the masses, extremely clean and luxurious restrooms and gas pumps that's rival all fueling stops - Unfortunately I personally have already become a little bored with it all, but I do like their cookie cutter consistence especially the fact that I can get a giant Texas Brisket Sandwich that in my opinion tops any other roadside fast food options (if they sold McFries to go with it I'd add them as a POI in my GPS to ensure I at least have the option to take the exit). Now that the nationwide expansion has taken off like a SpaceX Mission I can't wait to see what this brand morphs into - is it possible that we could see Super Buc-ee's in the future or a Club Store Buc-ee's where I can purchase a two and a half gallons plastic jar of "beaver nuggets" to compete with their competition's "cheese puffs" offerings? These guys do a lot of things right and have yet to turn into a carnival although they are trending that direction so they still have my interest plus I'm very interested in seeing how TikTok portrays them as they gain in popularity... read more

Great highway stop for gas and housewares! Different types of food including beef jerky by the pound. This place was crazy busy but you don't wait long for a pump. Bathroom lines were ridiculously long. They even have BBQ but I haven't tried it. No place to sit to eat. People were sitting on piles of merchandise eating outside. read more

I went up to the hairless cashier named Miguel to do so. A white man and I got to the counter near the same time but I arrived to the register first (which is why I was in front of the line). I said to the cashier "Hi, i'd like to purchase 5 bags of ice", he replied, okay let me get the person behind you first... Does that sound right to anybody? So we got our first taste of Buc-ee's Think if a gas station crossed paths with a Cracker Barrel and that's what you get There are a ton of signs that advertise them and what you should check them out for along the interstate When you get there it is absolutely crazy There are a ton of gas pumps ....so there is likely one available to pump gas The gas price is definitely reasonable When entering the location....it is super busy in there and they have EVERYTHING From a jerky to craft salsas and pickled vegetables ....there are a ton of options if you wanted to get unique food I ended up getting a Pecan/Peach Butter and a 5 pepper roasted salsa They have a huge fountain drink station and an extra large drink is only $0.89 cents and if you buy a custom cup there it's a $0.69 refill They have hot food sandwiches that they pump out from brisket to fried chicken Warm roasted nuts like almonds and pecans We got an apple pie there and it is wayyyyyy better than McDonald's They have lots of gift items as well such as signs, towels, blankets etc. It is super busy there so get ready for the crowd if you can handle it Staff there is super friendly One thing that impressed me.... the cleanliness especially the bathrooms which was a big surprise Otherwise....Mr Buc-ee....any chance you can bring your brand to Canada? Traveling back home from Florida to Georgia and made a stop at Buc-ees. This place is huge! As soon as you walk in you can smell brisket. It was also packed! Ppl everywhere. I headed towards the back to use the restrooms and as many customers as they had the restrooms were clean! One of the cleanest gas station restrooms I've ever been to. I also notice they have home decor to dog treats for purchase. Check out lines were long but moved very fast. We got 2 brisket burgers, sausage on a stick and apple pie. The hype about this place is real! I stopped here during a long road trip to refill my coffee, grab a sandwich, and use the washroom. Cleanest and best serviced washrooms I've experienced in a long time! The brisket sandwich was excellent! Perfectly prepared and ready to pickup. There were a ton of people there, but I didn't have to wait in long lines to pick up what I needed. Would have preferred to spend more time browsing the gift shop, but I was on a tight schedule. Loved this place so much I went to the next few locations to pick up more food and gas up. Highly recommend! read more

If you have not tried a Buc-ee's you should! It can be system overload inside though! But it is worth the cheap gas, clean bathrooms and great food! We almost always eat a meal on the road here. The brisket is good. But I prefer the wraps or the club. The philly cheese steak wrap is amazing! For breakfast I get the wrap that has all the things in it! Super filling. Tons of cashiers and staff so you never wait long despite how busy it is. Great place to stop on the road! It will not be a quick stop though! read more

Finally stopped by a Buc-ee's to see if it was the Real Deal Folks! The answer is YES indeed it is. Now just getting Gas was a Big Deal. People would get Gas and then go into the Store to shop. This is something that they really need to Control. Massive back-ups and people getting upset. Now as for as the Store itself so many items, food, drinks, novelties. Of course, if you like the Big Crowds this is Your Place. I'm really glad we stopped but it's not my choice of an amusement Super Gas Giant. Clean restrooms, friendly staff, great brisket sandwiches, and a million things you didn't know you needed until you walked in the door. Good gas prices as we headed from GA south to FL. The stores are huge, crowded, part entertainment, part food, it's an experience! You can't argue with clean and efficient though. read more

Bucky's is Bucky's. What more can I say. Always a lively time. Famous for the bathrooms. Always clean always available. No waiting. Buckys has just about any food or drink you would ever want. Between the coolers with all the bottled and cans sodas and beers to their fountains And coffee and iced tea. Their snack selection is overwhelming and their sandwich and salads and putting cups are amazing. My favorite sandwiches are smoked turkey sandwich. My favorite pudding is their coconut cream pudding cup. I always get a large unsweet tea with lots of ice. I always look for the next Buckys to fill up with gas and fill up my tummy. read more
