Well my honey and I kept hearing about these Mecca oasis. we needed gas , so we thought why not . It seems like folks make pilgrimages to this place once inside . People scrambling around grabbing up everything from snacks to home items . Whole meat cases dedicated just to different types of jerky. Bakery cases of pastries, warm, nuts, homemade fudge. There are a few items on the healthier side, such as carrots and dip and grapes and fruit and what not . They literally have every kind of drink You can imagine a wall dedicated just to soft drinks. But the smell that hits you the most is the delicious smell of BBQ . So we thought .. why not . The taste is pretty good but the whole sandwich is mostly fat . So we asked for a different one . For years friends and strangers have raved about Buc-ee's. We finally just got two in Florida and boy am I thrilled we never made a point to drive to the Daytona one for fun. I personally prefer Busy Bee, maybe because BusyBee was my first? Idk. One of the largest and craziest gas stations I've been to in my entire life! They are 120 gas pumps and the largest connected store I've seen. On the inside they have a fudge shop, ordering kiosks (like Wawa), a grab-and-go station for brisket sandwiches and other food like that, a wall of jerky, a convenience store, and half of the front is just random items and Buc-ee's themed goods! I'm probably missing some things- that's how large it is. Their brisket sandwiches surprised me... they were AMAZING! The brisket was so tender and the sandwich was delicious. Normally I'm hesitant on gas station food but this was next level. I've also had their breakfast brisket wrap and that was delicious as well!! For COVID, masks (and sometimes gloves) are worn by employees and there's dividers between you and the cashier. I'm not sure if masks are required since there were a few people inside who weren't wearing one, so be cautious of that. Otherwise this place is awesome! read more

Wow!!! What an amazing fuel stop. Plan time to spend time here shopping. Yes, shopping for houseware, t-shirts and last minute gifts. Oh yes and food. Good food. Try the brisket wrap yummy. Love love love this rest stop! So many trips prior,I passed this sign on the highway and thought it was a bootleg Chucky Cheese. I had no idea how awesome this place was! This location is somewhere near the Valdosta area of GA. When pulling in, you notice right away that there should never be an issued with waiting for the gas pump! They have about 100 (literally) gas pumps, sitting and waiting for you! Once you go in, it's a travelers delight! From jams to tents or grills, they have it all! There are clothes, candles, gifts, fresh food, coffee, souvenirs, and even fresh DIPPING DOTS! The actual ones you scoop! Not the pre-packaged ones at the smaller gas stations! And of course, for the travelers, they have super clean bathrooms with wall art for sale as you walk in. This place it awesome! My only concern is that, I wish there were more of them! Some of the other deets... COVID: Masks are not required nor are employees wearing them. Prices: Gas prices are standard and in line with the area. Items for sale inside are also standard. Although there may be some things that you may be able to find elsewhere cheaper, you're buying it at a gas station! So you're paying for convenience. Came here and had the Turkey sandwich. At $8 I was expecting a little more and would not recommend this sandwich. The sandwich was soggy because it comes with barbecue sauce already on it. They brought a little bit of Texas to middle Georgia which was much needed for travelers. Their gas prices are very reasonable and have over 100 gas pumps. They have a variety of snacks, coffee and hot food choices to order even a souvenir area to buy clothes etc. The store is very clean and organized with great customer service. I would definitely recommend stopping here if you need a break from driving. read more

Are there more stars. My daughter and I have just randomly took a road trip to buc-ee's (We live approx 1.5 ish to the nearest one). We love Buc-ee's! Since the first road-trip, we have revisited the Alabama one nearest us and we went to on north of Atlanta. Our next road trip we are going to go the way of the South Carolina one and stop by Lake Hartwell Bathrooms, food, service are beautiful The only thing I have to say is more trash cans around parking lot. Every single item that you would expect to see in small stores on vacation was in there. A great deal of the products had the Buc'ees name on them. Jams, jellies, beef jerky... holy cow! I will always always always give Buc-ee's a 5 star because my family and I absolutely love this place. Doesn't which Buc-ee's it is, it'll always get a 5 star. Every Buc-ee's we have been to has always been clean with friendly employees. Yes, it gets crowded, but the check out lines go very quick, bathroom lines go quick (there's always someone cleaning the bathrooms which puts me and I'm sure others at ease especially after COVID), ordering food is easy, everything is just always smooth whenever we go. Love their sandwiches, love their pudding, love their merchandise. I have nothing but good things to say about Buc-ee's. It's literally a gas station (not to mention with good gas prices), grocery store, home store all in one. Literally doesn't get any better than that. Maybe it was bad training or bad policy, not sure. I grabbed an iced coffee but had made it in a hot coffee cup as I didn't see the cold cups until after I had finished making it. Went to pay and when I told the clerk it was an iced coffee, the clerk told me I had to use a cold cup. I asked her if she was serious and she was. I said, well that's kind of a waste. But, I did as she said. So, a waste of a cup, lid, straw, ice and about 1/2 cup of coffee as it didn't all fit. Is it me or does that seem odd? read more

so fun!!! stopped here twice recently, once on the day after Christmas, and once on New Year's Eve. the first time, it was insanely crowded so we didn't take much time to look around and decided to make a longer stop on the trip back. the line for the bathroom was extremely long, but i was pleasantly surprised when it moved very fast (there are employees in the restroom keeping them spotless and helping make sure empty stalls don't stay empty). speaking of employees- they are EFFICIENT here! constantly moving. the cashier that checked us out on our second trip was so sweet and thoughtful - double bagging things, making sure we had utensils, etc. on the way back, we spent probably an hour here browsing around! we left with a big haul: banana pudding, key lime pie in a cup, chicken with crawfish jambalaya stuffed inside (frozen to be cooked later), hotdog on a stick, cinnamon dusted pecans, and spicy lime pork rinds. taking a star off because of how hard it is to get in and out of the parking lot and because the food was good though not ~amazing~, and some felt a little overpriced. still would recommend stopping here at least once though! it's fun! read more

Can a gas station be magical? As gas stations go this is my new standard. It gives 1st class gas station vibes. There are DOZENS of gas pumps outside so you don't have to wait, like ever. The inside is even better. As soon as you walk in the automatic doors you are welcomed by the delightful soft scent of warm cinnamon roasted nuts. The store is immaculate and clean. The prices? *chefs kiss* it's like grocery store prices! Body armor for $1.25, fountain pop for $.69, EVERYTHING is reasonably priced. They have everything and more you could ever want a gas station. They have in-house made barbecue and brisket sandwiches, they have kolaches, they have muffins, they have breakfast sandwiches, they have their own line of snacks, and an entire wall of beef jerky. But it doesn't stop there my friend. No. Their restroom is the cleanest restroom I have ever seen. No cap. I went into two different Bucee's and both times there was an attendant in there cleaning. I'm not sure if they just have someone who cleans only the restroom all day long but that's what it seems like. There are two entire walls of stalls. I'm talking like 32 stalls. They all have doors that go all the way to the floor. There are no gaps in these doors people! And when you get in there, in the stall? There is not only hand sanitizer but there is also seat sanitizer as well if you want but let me tell you you don't need it because everything is immaculate! And when you are done you can walk out to the middle of this gigantic room and wash your hands in one of the like 20 that they have. I didn't think I would ever be this excited about a gas station but I had never been to Bucee's. ALSO they pay a living wage! The sign out front states they were looking for help and cashiers start at $15 and it kept going up from there. We love that. Honestly every other gas station could just cease to exist and they could all be replaced by Buc ee's And I would not be mad about it. read more

I usually enjoy going to Bucees very much and every time I shop here i end up walking out spending more than 100 dollars worth of merchandise usually in clothing. I also always get a triple meat BBQ sandwich and an ice coffee which I put in an XL Styrofoam cup, but 2 ladies berrated me about having to put the coffee in a much smaller cup assigned for iced coffee. I didn't know this was whats supposed to be done at first, but I had already made the coffee in a xl Styrofoam cup and asked the lady if I could just keep the cup I had already prepared and pay for 2 cups of the assigned smaller cups for the iced coffee since the XL Styrofoam cup I prepared would have been thrown away anyway. She refused to do this even though I come to Bucees quite regularly and usually spend a lot of money here. I felt like that was completely idiotic and she refused to compromise even though I offered to pay for 2 cups worth of the assigned iced coffee cups which would have been more money than 1 XL Styrofoam cup. I refused to get the ice coffee altogether and let her throw it away because I felt like she was being a total asshole about it and quite frankly, I'm kind of turned off by even going to Bucees anymore. read more

After traveling 4 hours and excited to visit this place, we were left hungry and disappointed. Once we entered, the place was so busy there was a line 30 people deep for the bathroom. Then, we wanted you to get food. The only food available was some bakery items and chips/pops (like you could get at a gas station!). We waited by the taco area and once a burrito was put into the tray, crowds rushed forward to grab one. It was truly unbelievable. I would recommend going to a regular gas station or McDonald's where u can actually feed your family without fighting a crowd. read more

Me and my husband have always been a fan of Buc-ee's but this visit left us so disappointed. The costumer service was terrible, got 2 different cashiers and none was helpful, and one of them had an attitude that really made me mad. I was trying to buy a sweater for my husband, first time we tried and it had no tag and was the only size left so the lady said we needed to get another one with the same tag so she could ring it, cause she said she supposedly couldn't leave her register, my husband and I were with our son so we just decided to put him in the car and I came back in to get it. Searched for one brought it back to another cash register, since the cashier that was in there not even 5 min before had left her register, and this cashier said it had to be the exact same size in the tag or they couldn't sell it??? I tried waiting but I've been on the road for 7 hours at this point so I'm not staying 10min standing for a sweater, I'm about to leave and start saying "sorry but I'm not waiting anymore" and before I could finish talking the cashier started asking me if I was leaving with a rude tone. Usually look forward to our stop at Buc-ee's but not sure I will be coming back to this one. read more

Stopped here twice on my trip from Florida to Georgia and back. I have had my first experience with Buc Ee's in Houston a couple years ago and have been hoping is have a chance to see another buc ees again some time, sure enough this one has just opened and I was happy to have the opportunity to stop there. The gas pumps seem to never end, so you will never have to wait for a pump, and the prices were the lowest I've come across during my entire roadtrip. The store inside was nice, albeit too crowded and masks were not mandated so it was definitely one of the "scarier" stops of my trip. The bathroom did live up to buc ees standards, being the cleanest you'll ever find in a gas station/rest stop, and honestly probably cleaner than most hotels too. The food is good, and inexpensive and there is a ton of merch to be purchased ranging from shirts to body care to furniture. read more
