Stopped in with my boyfriend and his family for dinner. And I've gotta say I like it here! To be fair it's not the nicest restaurant around, but its reliable and the service has always been good. The food is good, bar food isn't my favorite but for the price, it is what you'd expect. They have a really cool overlook of the motorcycle shop down below and televisions to watch any sports games that might be on. One thing to note is that if you're tall, the ceilings are veryyy low (6' maybe??), so watch your head!!! Tonight we got the caesar salad and the pot roast meal. Everything had a good flavor to it, the sauce on the pot roast was a little gluey for my taste (maybe it was sitting out a little too long) and the salad used shredded lettuce. I think if you're looking for a comparison, I'd say its close to a Red Robin or a Chillis. Regardless, I would come back! read more

Several items were unavailable, which if it was busy, I can understand. It was extremely slow. Watermelon margarita is horrible. Tasted like stale dishwater. The cheesy hash is supposed to have a Gouda cheese sauce and cheddar cheese, as it was explained to me. No Gouda sauce, shredded cheddar only, and a $2 up charge that was not told to me in advance. Very nice choice for lunch because the space is so interesting. From about the end of World War I to about when Hitler invaded Poland, a high quality American car was made in Kenosha. In the mid 20th century Nash was bought out by the Kelvinator refrigerator company, and eventually Nash-Kelvinator was taken over by the ill fated American Motors Company. So this building was originally a Nash dealership. Today the Purolator family owns the Indian motorcycle dealership downstairs and upstairs is the Nash restaurant and bar. It's a lovely open, sunny (well during the day) second floor with a generous patio - sun deck and small parking lot which is ample for the weekday lunch crowd. Well, crowd, would be too generous. They just opened March 2017 so the earlier low ratings for service reflect, I think, the temporary problems of a new restaurant because I got excellent service. You should know that there was only two other customers and they were on the far side at the bar. The second floor restaurant is an open square ringing a marvelous view of the beautiful Indian motorcycle showroom downstairs. It's a unique and enjoyable setting. The food is not spectacular, it's kind of average pub and Italian American food. The meatball sandwich is good, the fried onion...well they aren't rings they are wider cuts, these are really good. Into the batter they've sprinkled something with a little zip, red peppers? The chicken tenders are excellent, I don't think they were ever frozen and they are so irregular shaped and tasty I am guessing these are actually hand made in the kitchen. At the very least I urge you to visit for a weekday lunch so that the staff aren't lonely. read more

I haven't eaten here yet, but these guys have absolutely rolled the red carpet out for my band. We played here once, and were almost immediately booked for three more shows. We played indoors, because of the time of year and the weather. A few of our upcoming shows are scheduled to be outside and I'm super excited for those, not that I'm opposed to playing indoors here. I was a little worried about playing downstairs to people upstairs, but it turned out great and I felt all gladiatorial. If I was into motorcycles even kinda, or had eaten here already, this review would be more detailed. Someday... I mean the food, someday. I doubt my mind will change on motorcycles. read more

I stopped in Indian to look at their clothes and then went upstairs to try to have dinner at The Nash. It was a Friday night and was very busy. I was able to buy a cute sweatshirt but eventually went elsewhere for dinner. I did come back later for a beer. First of all, the place is huge and attractive! It's a stunning building on a block that is not very lively. The lower level offers motorcycles and accessories and friendly service. The upper level houses the pub, casual restaurant and bar. It is set up in an odd fashion on a wraparound balcony that looks down into the store. The hostess stand is at the corner of the upper door, stairs and bar. Um traffic jam! The young hostess said the wait would be 1 hour and 45 minutes. OK no problem...until she said they will call your name right there twice. If you do not answer your table will be given away. I understand the general idea except they do not give you a pager or take your mobile number to text a message that your table is ready. OK so I then ask, the timeframe you gave is pretty much accurate? Nope she says, "It's just a rough estimate." When I asked if I needed to be standing in that tiny area to try to hear my name being called out over the roaring bar crowd for a while, since an accurate time could not be given, she confirmed and said "they cannot text because they do not have a business mobile phone and it is illegal to text customers from their own phone." Unfortunately we did not have dinner at this big beauty of a new restaurant, but we did come back later for a beer. Two bartenders moved slowly assisting one customer each as I stood waiting about 5 minutes. A magic woman appeared from the back and hustled - the way it should be when you are slammed. The three beers we ordered were room temperature. The bartender apologized and said that's all she had because they could not keep up. We ordered a different beer, which was ice cold. There was a party out on the deck, the bar and restaurant areas were packed and a big party filled their parking lot. I walk to the restroom and find there are only 2 STALLS!!! Advice to management: Iron out the kinks. Create a system to text waiting dinner customers so they do not have to stand in that awkward corner. Refill the beer coolers behind the bar with previously chilled beer. If at all possible build more restroom stalls or point out where others might be hidden. I know the situation will get better and I will give The Nash another chance, perhaps on a quieter night. read more

Man, this is another place in Racine that I want to love. It is a cool, historic building and I love sitting and gazing at the gorgeous motorcycles below. Its got a great vibe that I just love. However, there are a lot of shortcomings. When we first arrived, the waitress didn't seat us. She pointed at a spot across the restaurant and told us to seat ourselves. She was clearly very busy, and we took our seats. After several minutes, no one had stopped by to say hi or take a drink order. The same waitress that told us where to sit eventually came over to see if anyone had helped us yet. When we told her no one had, she said she'd speak to the other waitress. More time passed, and eventually the second waitress came and took our order. She didn't seem into her job at all. Ultimately, the food was all just a bit weird. Cheese curds were ok, but in WI they should be amazing. They came with a marinara that was oddly sweet. We also tried a cup of the lobster chowder. The lobster wasn't real lobster, but imitation lobster. Flavor was ok, but a bit heavy on the salt. A bit less salt and just a hair of real lobster would have made it a lot better We then split a Western Burger and a Prime Rib sandwich. Both were WAY overcooked. Zero pink in them at all. :( The burger itself was so close to being so good! Brioche bun, perfectly cooked egg, good bacon, but the burger itself sucked. The Prime Rib sandwich was a total waste. The meat wasn't good that was basically the entire sandwich. Like I said before, I really, really want to love this place. Maybe it was an off night? We came for lunch on a Sunday and it wasn't too busy but we stood at the host stand for several minutes while the bartender chatted away with a customer so we sat ourselves. After seating ourselves, we waited for quite some time until we were finally greeted by the server. At that time, we gave our entire order. We ordered the giant pretzel with a cheese sauce and it was hard and cold so we requested a new one. The second time around, it was pretty good. The server stated the soup of the day was Vegetable Soup - and she delivered us Cheese & Broccoli. Our burger finally arrived and it was surprisingly very good! Overall, the menu is your typical bar food but it was quite good. Unfortunately the service was lacking as the wait staff was inattentive and inaccurate. But the atmosphere was pretty cool as the Indian motorcycle was open to be seen. I will give it another chance in the future and hopefully the service will be better the second time around. read more

I've been here 5-6 times. Once for an event, other times were for lunches and dinners. I've never had a wait and have been seated fairly promptly from the host stand (there wasn't actually a host there on occasions I visited). The atmosphere and remodel inside looks great! They did a fantastic job using that historical space. But if you are tall, watch out, some of the support beams are pretty low in the restaurant area. The bathrooms are nicely done but probably should have more stalls. I'm not sure if there are restrooms in the store down below. As others have noted, the service can be slow. Very slow. But I find that at a lot of restaurants in Racine. I work here and go out to lunch a few times a month and have tried almost all of them, and that is consistently what I find. I enjoy the food here a lot. I love the chicken BLT wrap, burgers, and bretzel- it's huge and amazing! Share it with 4 people and there is plenty. I wasn't crazy about the deli meat in the clubin' it wrap so I'm going to avoid that one. I've found the soups to be very good, but salty. The fries are good too. It would be great to see a side salad or veggies offered as a side choice. read more

My friends and I come here often and enjoy the food very much. We usually come on a Monday for lunch after another event. Much to our surprise this past week it was closed. I checked with Yelp and it clearly indicated that it was open. Someone else checked the website and it both said it was open Monday and closed Monday. It was irritating to say the least. Oh and website also said it was closed Sunday but I was there two weeks ago and it was open. (Good band but a little loud!) Service is always on the slow side. Went here for a business lunch about 2 weeks and what a great choice by our lunch guests who work in that area. I went with the Perch Po Boy and it was a great choice for my 1st time here. It's Beer Breaded Perch served on a French roll w spinach, tomato and garlic aioli. Now this was a business lunch so I wanted the Garlic aioli on the side as I wasn't sure how potent it would it be. I'm glad I did as it was very garlicky. Now don't get me wrong I love garlic but man this was strong, strong! This sandwich was served with fries. The restaurant is located about the Indian Motorcycle dealership which makes for some good viewing of their merchandise. There are also some slot machines and the ever popular pull tab machines. The beer list which I took at look at is very impressive. The patio looks fun and I know it would be a good time to come and hang out there during the summer. Unfortunately, I can't get review the food because I didn't get a chance to eat it this evening. We got to the restaurant at about 8 o'clock and sat ourselves. We were never greeted. Two employees walked past a minimum of 4 times and never acknowleged us. In fact, One waitress came within about 3 feet of us, engaged another table, looked at us, and walked away. There were maybe 5 tables with people seated at them. After 10 minutes we got up and left. Not a single employee ever acknowledged are presence. I have no compelling reason to return to this establishment. read more

I hosted a private event in the back room recently. Randy was awesome to work with for planning the menu and beverages. Food was delicious which is tough to do when serving a large group. The food was good. I had the BBQ rib sandwich and it would have been great if they had not used the fake butter spray on the bun. Others had a fish fry and they said it was really good. They got four large pieces - enough for two people. The old-fashioned was good but it came in a small rocks glass. We are in Wisconsin. The bartender should know old fashioneds come in tub glasses. Had dinner at the Nash with a friend on Monday evening. We had the deep fried greenbeans, boneless rib sandwich, and the Italian sausage sandwich. We are nondrinkers, so we can't vouch for the drink menu, but we loved our food. The greenbeans and jalapeno ranch sauce was awesome. Just the right amount of heat. Our server took very good care of us. They also had that trivia night which started just before we left. We will definitely return to try more things on the menu. read more

Asked about the soup of the day and waitress warned me she tried the cream of broccoli and the broccoli was hard so maybe I wouldn't like it. Appreciate the heads up. Appetizers- garlic Parmesan chicken wings were wet, kind of expected crispy wings with a dry coating. Wouldn't order them again. Cheese curds were good. Cod fish fry- portion was generous but the fish was over cooked and rubbery. Pot roast dinner- flavor of the meat was ok but very dry in the middle and the food wasn't re-heated well because it was actually barely room temp to touch. I wouldn't eat here again. read more

Horrible service and food! We came during a week extremely non busy time, we were on of two other customers. It took 15-20 minutes for someone to even come take a drink order and just as long to get them and our food order. After another half hour our food came and it was not only cold but tasted awful. I'm all for trying out new places but places like this is why I don't go outside of the norm. For a place that tries to look high end it's not good at all. But what would you expect from the pocaros. Crappy car and bike dealer and a crappy food to wash down the regret of doing business with them. I wouldn't recommend this dump to my worst enemy and hope it closes soon. Bring back the country bar that was there at least it was worth while.... Stick to what you do best guys scamming people with junk overpriced cars and poor repair service.... read more

This is a one of a kind restaurant. It is on the upper level of an Indian cycle dealership. The large bar and restaurant overlook the bikes below. Our group had appetizers and sandwiches which were all delicious. The 8 oz ribeye steak sandwich was a particular hit along with potato pancakes and sour cream chive fries. The portions were generous and prices reasonable. We will be back for more! read more

We were seated, but I guess none of the waitresses wanted to claim our table, it was 20 minutes before they acknowledged our presence. By the time we got our first round of drinks, the next table over, who were seated about the same time as us were already finishing up their meal. Finally we order, most people get fried fish or whatever, simple bar food. 40 minutes go by, we decide to leave. We have to hunt our waitress down and get the check for the beers. She was like " it's not my fault, it's the kitchen!" That doesn't matter much to my hungry family.
