    Breakfast in Kissimmee
    Olivia L.

I was pleasantly surprised when I randomly found this little Cuban cafe in downtown Kissimmee. I stopped in for a coffee and some breakfast. The place was quiet, service was good, coffee was excellent, and my breakfast burrito really hit the spot. I sat outside on a Monday afternoon and it was perfect. I'd definitely come back next time I'm in the area

It's a nice little Cuban joint that serves more as a cafe, but it is nice. The service was okay but nothing to rave about. I love me a Cuban sandwich and this one was just right. If I lived by this place it would definitely be a regular.

Now open on Sundays! Still the Best Cuban coffee in Kissimmee! Delicious coladas, cortaditos, breakfast sandwiches and Awesome homemade cuban sandwich! A must try when in the Downtown Kissimmee area!

Price was good and the ambiance felt like I was at a cafe back in old San Juan! The coffee was a bit burnt though (there was a big group prior to us so maybe they hadn't gotten a chance to replace the grinds), the food took a while to come out and was pretty standard. But the service was nice and the place was generally clean albeit on the smaller side. Would recommend at least hacking out once.

Very lovely staff , very lovely customers. I felt very welcome. The hot cafe latte was one of the best I have ever had in my life! The warm coconut cake was perfection! So delicious! I look forward to coming back here!!! Love!

I drove 40 minutes with traffic on a Friday morning lol just to go try this place. It was worth it! The breakfast and the cortadito were so delicious. My husband and I took an extra cafe con leche with us as well. Also husband bought some cigars. Nice place to go in the mornings. When we visit Kissimmee again we will def visit Buchito.

Visited Buchito while in town for a quick visit. It is in a unique area in downtown Kissimmee, very quaint cafe, greeted by staff and assisted in offering suggestions. Ordered the Benny cuban with a cafe con leche. Sandwich was delicious, pork was tender and bread was nicely toasted, wonderful traditional flavors. I added caramel flavor to the cafe con leche and it was perfectly smooth.

The Benny Cubano was so good that I came back after having it a year ago. I got the media noche which has sweeter bread and it was just as good. Enjoyed the cafe con leche as well!

Buchito translates to small cup of coffee depending on your origin. This shop has plenty of buchitos too choose from whether you like it , iced , blended or hot. It's a cute coffee shop that offers cuisine such as breakfast , sandwiches and home made desserts which you're sure too love. It's also a great place for small talk or a quick study break. The staff provide excellent service , they are kind and accommodating to whether you're looking for a quick bite or a drink on the go.

Feeling like a new experience for my coffee craving I decided to stop at Buchito Cuban Cafe. It's is a very pretty little coffee house, very welcoming. The owner brought out freshly made Bundt style cakes. Large pieces. I did not try today. The menu was small but I bet each item is made with love. It looks and feels like a family owned Restuarant. I think the dad made my coffee, mom brought out the fresh bakery items, a son rang me in. I love to promote small businesses. I had a cafe mocha which was very good, nice coffee flavor not overwhelming with mocha. Prices are very reasonable. They sell Cuban cigars as well. Worth a stop if your traveling near Kissimmee.

When I am nearby and I'm hungry though it's worth stopping to have a bite to eat. I took a friend to an appointment nearby and had time to kill so I came for lunch. The place looks almost exactly the same as it did the first time I came here. They are right near a train stop and there is one accessible space outside the building. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, but it is limited. The menu here has changed a little bit over the years, but they still have all the Chicago favorites that I enjoy. I've never had a problem with anything. I have had to eat here and that does keep me coming back. The people that work here are always friendly and they strive to make sure you get a good meal. And this occasion I wanted something a little different so I ordered a polish sausage Chicago style without tomatoes because I can't have them. The bond did fall apart a bit more than I like, but my meal was excellent. They always have very tasty french fries. I have tried several things over the years and feel confident and recommending their entire menu. And of course, if you are looking for a pizza puff, then this is one of the few places you can find them around the Orlando area. If you're looking for a good Chicago style, hot dog or Polish or any hotdog this is the local stop. They use genuine Vienna, beef products, which always brings the taste of home for me. They make an excellent Italian beef sandwich and have really good giardiniera.

I was about 25 minutes away, when I took my family here, and they were wondering where we were going, but let me tell you, they were not disappointed by the food, service and the surround area. When we arrived, it seemed like a downtown area that was kind of chill because it was a Tuesday early evening. Barely any traffic around and tons of open parking, especially right in front to the restaurant. From the front I noticed some funny signs, a patio that was wide open for seating, yard games and a nice cozy dive bar vibe. When we went inside, we were immediately greeted at the counter by our server. It was not busy, there was actually only one customer sitting at the bar. The bar has about 6 seats and has TVs to watch and the restaurant if filled with tons of cool Classic Rock pictures, memorabilia and quotes. It was just the vibe we needed to just hang as a family. The server allowed us to pick any table we wanted. We ordered margaritas. They were delicious. We also has the RIBS, okra, mac & cheese, potato salad, some greens, cornbread, brisket, grilled cheese sandwich and fries. EVERYTHING, including the SERVICE was on point; we left well fed, satisfied and happy we found this place to eat tonight. To walk off the food , there is a park right across the street. At the park you will find food trucks for dessert, like ice cream on a hot day. There's also a walking trail and a play ground for the kiddos. There was an area where people were fishing off the doc. I saw an area where people also get married and a facility for our veterans. I included some pictures of what I saw along my way after I left the restaurant for people looking for things to do in the area with a family and/or friends. If you're ever in the area, I highly recommend you stop by this restaurant for some good eats, drinks and just a place to relax and have a good time. There's also service is great and the area is filled with things to do afterwards. Thank me later.

Lindsay gets a special shout-out for being kind, caring, and attentive! What a ray of sunshine! She was so excited when she arrived with my dessert (she made a brownie sundae just for me). I got the sampler sliders and my boyfriend got the sampler platter. The slider buns were perfect and even toasted a bit which added major bonus points for me. The pulled pork was tender and flavorful. Brisket was peppery and perfect. Ribs were also veryyyy tenderrrrrr. You can tell the food is made with love. All I could do was smile as I ate my lunch, knowing I have an amazing bbq spot so close to me. 3. The corn nuggets were SO GOOD and SO comforting. Crispy, sweet, and perfect. From the service, to the cleanliness and of course the food: flavors, portions, everything hits the right spot. The place is quite brightly lit with a lot of tropical houseplants as part of the decor. There are three sections to the restaurant: A cafeteria, an indoor dining area and an outdoor dining area. The indoor dining area entirely consists of private booths whereas the outdoor section has tables and chairs. The service is warm, friendly, quick and most importantly efficient. The portions served are big. This was our third visit to Maracas in the past 4 months and they have been very consistent with their service, food quality as well as quantity. As far as the food is concerned, it will remind one of a hispanic home. The flavors are perfectly balanced, the meats are cooked tender, the beans are rich yet delicious, the rice is buttery, the yucas perfectly seasoned with mojo and the tostones are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside: just like you'd expect your Noche Buena meal to taste like at your abuela's dinner table. On this last visit, we had our usual tostones for appetizers, for the entrées we had the pernil (roast pork) with a side of rice, beans and maduros (yes, they offer three sides with all entrées), we also had the rabo (oxtail curry) with rice, beans and yuca con mojo. Everything was delicious and as always we couldn't finish our meal because of the large portions they serve and had to request take away containers. If you're looking for finger-licking good Dominican food (also for the Cubans looking for food similar to theirs), look no further. Maracas is the place to go. There's a reason we keep returning to this place.
