I cannot express my thanks warmly enough to yelp for pointing us to this wonderful Cuban cafe. My husband had the Cuban (flavorful, not at all greasy or too heavy), I had the Cubano Loco (pork, cream cheese and guava - it sounds strange but it was absolutely delicious and I may have dreams about that combination). For drinks, I had the most magnificent cafe con leche I've ever had, and husband had a very strong but tasty little cup of espresso. We shared a slice of tres leches to finish our coffees and walked away on a cloud of yummy satisfaction. The wonderful people running this cafe were friendly and welcoming. It is 100% worth the drive to downtown Kissimmee (NOT to be confused with touristy 192) to visit this cafe and stroll the lovely streets. We can't wait to go back! read more

We had just flown all night, had the airlines lose our baggage, taken a Towncar to our share rental, had Hertz pick us up and rent us a nice looking silver Ultima covered in yellow "X's" and had a wonderful breakfast. We were a bit tired and overstuffed along with being grateful and satisfied as we slowly traveled from one light to the next along Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway. The lights seemed to be spaced about one hundred yards apart and were the longest lights I had ever had the displeasure of experiencing before coming to Orlando. Needless to say, the traffic was heavy. After at least ten of these lights I began to fall asleep waiting for the lights to turn green. Luckily I had Ida to shake me back awake so I could move forward to the next light. I think Ida was getting more than a little nervous about my falling asleep but luckily I had studied enough about the Orlando area to know there was a Cuban coffee place not too far away. It worked out perfect, I was able to turn right at the next light and found a parking place almost right in front of Buchito's. Not only did these wonderful little cups of Cuban coffee called Cortaditos wake me up, they were amongst the best tasting coffee I have ever had. The owner made them himself. He seemed to take great pride in making each cup an individual masterpiece which is something you do not get to experience too often. Most coffee shops are filled with young people working for minimum wage and just going through the motions. I am always excited when I am fortunate enough to come across a place like Buchito where people truly take pride in their work. The owner was also a pleasure to talk to and he was nice enough to bring me out a sample the pork he uses in his Cuban sandwiches. OMG, OMG, OMG, that was absolutely beyond a shadow of a doubt the best pork I have ever had and I am a great lover of pork. It was so tender it practically melted in my mouth and had such a full bouquet of flavor without being salty. I was way too stuffed to eat anything but, at the same time, I have never wanted something so bad in my life. YES! I did get back for my much coveted Cuban sandwich and it was even better than I expected. I have had plenty of Cuban sandwiches in my life but unfortunately I live in California where they are Cuban sandwiches in name only. This was the real deal, just the perfect balance of pork, ham, cheese, pickles, and mustard with no items overwhelming the others. They all worked perfectly in combination with each other. Even the pickle lent just the right amount of flavor. This was not an overstuffed huge mass of food either. It was just the right amount of filling to bread which was cooked in a press to just the perfect consistency. read more

I sure didn't know where Kissimmee was before I got there. I ended up staying at a condo nearby, searching for good eats. Buchito popped up on Yelp and I was on my way! The space is very comfortable. I would imagine if I were a local, I could sit, read a book, and sip a cup of coffee. The staff (owners) were conversational and friendly. I definitely felt welcome. The café con leche was strong but a bit too sweet for my liking. It's definitely something I don't get often so it was a nice treat. The cuban was done right. I'm not an expert and it's hard to get a good cuban in Seattle. The portions and quality of the ingredients were good. We were on a mission to eat as much as we could and this is how it started. Buchito is a Cuban Cafe. This is what we had: Cortadito. Cuban Sandwich Cuban sandwich and Cortadito Cafe con leche. The Alexandre: Pastrami, Cheese, Bacon, lettuce, and tomato. Homemade Desserts: Flan, Key Lime, Chocolate Cake All these spot on. Flavor, freshness, made to order, and presentation. The service is amazing. So far the two sandwiches we've had have been really good. It's been around now for about six months. This is a nice little place to come to for breakfast and lunch. We almost didn't make it to this place because our flight was around noon and they opened up at 10am, but I am so glad we ended up swinging by to pick up food and coffee here! Buchito is one of those really cute corner stores that you would want to swing by to every morning to grab at least a coffee before starting your day. Initially we ordered a single Benny Cuban to share as well as a Cuban Coffee and the Cafe Con Leche. After taking the first bite into the sandwhich I knew we had to request another one to enjoy on the way back to California. The Cuban Coffee was limited in quantity but it definitely has a strong kick that will jump start your day and the Cafe Con Leche was something that I never expected. You get that coffee taste without the bitterness followed by a creamy sweet aftermath; absolutely heavenly! As if the two of those didn't have enough caffeine to satisfy the two of us, we also got an order of the Buchito's Iced Coffee after seeing another customer order it and rave about how great it is. I have no regrets at all about this place and just saddened that I didn't live closer to it so I could visit it regularly. The best part of our experience in addition to all the great food and drinks was how fairly priced each item was considering that is a family owned establishment! read more

The place is cozy, the service is great and the food so tasty (It's real egg what you are getting ...and real espresso). We were on a family vacation and had tried a few regular (disappointing) breakfast places when finally found El Buchito in our last day in town. The woman working there was very friendly and personable. I tried the philly burrito. The refried beans overpowered the flavor of the steak and pico but when I did taste the steak it was flavored to perfection. Not a bad portion for an $8 lunch although the burrito was a bit skinny and it comes with chips. Tried the cafe con leche and it was strong but very tasty. This place is still awesome. The coffee is superior to most coffee places in this area (Kissimmee) and the owners are so nice and accommodating. I went in for a strong "café con leche" and was craving something sweet, pastry like. They had desserts like flan, cheesecake and others, but no pastries. They asked me if I wanted something specific and offered to prepare it, as long as they had the ingredients. I asked for "tostadas con queso y guayaba" which translates to toast with guava paste and cheese... And they did right by me and prepared it, even though it is not in their menu. And it tasted awesome. I just wish this place where closer to home. I would definitely come here more often. read more

This small mom/pop cafe makes you feel like you're visiting your Cuban abuela's house. Warm, welcomed and like family. It was our first time visiting and we were delighted. The staff is very friendly and helpful with the menu. As for food, it was better than the service (and I mean that in a good way because the service was phenomenal!) My Cuban sandwich was spectacular; toasty buns, the pork was rich in flavor (thanks to the mojo) and the melted Swiss cheese to tie it all together. The Cuban burrito was yummy, but not as good as the sandwich. The cafe con leche is a must have! The only thing I didn't like was the tres leches dessert. Nonetheless, I still recommend this place and I will definitely be back to get my Cuban food fix. read more

Drove over from Orlando based on the great reviews alone. Place was busy when we got there Saturday morning. Cuban coffee was great, as was the cafe con leche. Cuban sandwich was god, but could have been better. The owner took the order himself, but the grill either misplaced it or served our sandwich to someone else in line. Either way, they rushed one out to us rather than make it right - correct ingredients, but not enough time on the grill resulted in a luke warm sandwich with unmelted cheese. Grilled roasted pork beats the common pulled pork, but still a miss if not we'll-grilled. Unfortunate for us, but a drag that the counter did not try and make everything right on their own. 3 stars it has to be. read more

I made a trip to Buchito because I had family in town visiting and I wanted them to try the best Cuban sandwich that I have ever had. Upon arrival we were greeted at the door. The lady took our order. We all ordered a Cuban sandwich and a cafe com leche and a Cordita. Everything is made fresh to order of course. The restaurant is quaint and very clean. About 10 minutes later our food came. I took my first bite of the sandwich and my taste buds began to have a party. "Deliciousness" so much flavor!!!! The coffee is excellent. You can't go there and not have a cup. There was pumpkin bread, banana bread, tres leches but I couldn't eat another bite. My family was truly impressed and they didn't make a sound they just kept eating. If you are in the area Buchitos is a must. We also had a great conversation with the owners. They make you feel as if your at home with family eating in your own kitchen. Buchitos will always be my favorite. read more

The owner of this restaurant is super super rudest and not just that she is not Cuban ... I when there for the first time and she refused to let me enjoy a cup of coffee, also there were another customer waiting and she refused service for us . We want to get a coffee and set outside. But out side , but she has to close and bring her table inside and get her son at school so no coffee for me . I ask her can I order something else and she said I close at 3pm .
