    The park is lovely.

Beautiful spot across from park with parking lot in back. This shop is located in a beautifully maintained older area of Pendleton with large front porches gorgeous gardens and views. The coffee is well roasted and brewed. Low acid and smooth to sip. There are bags available to take home as well. The pastries are fresh and yummy. The quiche is built on a homemade buttery crust. I'm taking a slice for dinner!

Awesome coffee shop in Pendleton. I highly recommend the white chocolate strawberry scones. I ordered the white chocolate oat milk latte with irish cream & that was a great recommendation by the friendly baristas.

Great coffee shop! Pastries are delish and rodeo themed!

Fresh, clean, spacious and personable owner and staff. Coffee was above average and quiche very good.

The bar is long, with pictures of all the Pendleton Round-Up lining one wall. The place is a fascinating time capsule. Way in the back, beyond the bar and the pool table, a very small dining room with counter service and several humble booths are tucked away next to the kitchen. It's old, and proud of it. I've only eaten there twice; I once had a great breakfast there many years ago with my son. The portions were generous, the service was excellent, and as American style breakfasts go, it was about as good as they get. It's not "inspired food." It's the standard stuff, and there's something comforting about that. It's Americana at it's best. The second time was my birthday, and again, I was there with my son. It was evening. When we got there, we were the only ones occupying the cafe. It looked exactly as it had 20-plus years ago. My son ordered a hamburger and fries. Again, no trendy toppings or fuss, just very fresh, very well prepared hearty fare...exactly what we were looking for. I had their "famous" fried chicken. it was without hesitation, some of the best I'd ever tasted. It came with jo-jos, a salad, and garlic bread. It was all excellent, and almost too much food. If you enjoy old school dining in a small town cafe, it's going to be hard to beat the Rainbow Cafe and Bar.

We tried to go to breakfast this morning at 10:18 am and were told they were not serving breakfast and we could wait until 11 for lunch. This is not the first time we have struggled with wait times. First, I understand you have to serve food and have it available at a drinking establishment. Secondly, why are you turning prospective patrons that want to eat and drink. We used to go there every Sunday as a family, it was a meeting place for friends and family. The last two times we ate there it was 1 1/2 or 2 hours before we got fed. This is heartbreaking. It's our 'Cheers'. Please do better!
