Came here for dinner with friends last night and had a wonderful meal. Seated immediately.. Very cool old Everett ambiance.. lots of activity - the bar is really cool.. Now for the food! Wow! My girlfriend had the Pork special and it was fall off the bone amazing.. I had the crab stuffed Halibut that was also really really nice.. great sides and the service from Andrew (aka Jim from "The Office) was really great.. he stopped by our table several times and joked with us and we made fun of the duck.. The Ribeye with bleu cheese crumbles my friend had was a full pound and looked perfectly cooked.. This was our place to go after work on paydays or just whenever. Had a number of birthday dinners and fun there. Good service, excellent food and drinks and atmosphere is classic ... wooden bar and interior, couple of bay window tables. My favs are the peanut butter pie, fish tacos, beet salad and coconut prawns. Miss going there but have had great takeout when I was back in Everett. Can't wait to get back there again. read more

Buck's is awesome. Stopped by here completely randomly one day while heading north on I-5 and I'm glad we did. I really enjoyed the almost lodge-like/historic decor and the service was great. Food was excellently done. The fish and chips were crispy, not soggy and greasy like they can be at some other places. Burger was your standard burger done well with a really good side salad. Not just some iceberg lettuce thrown on a plate. Highly recommend Buck's. read more

After much contemplating I went to Buck's. My first visit my first Yelp. I had the Baked Brie yum and the Black and Blue salad double yum! The service was fast and friendly. The Brie was out standing very rich and creamy. It could have been my meal but no I had to have the Black and Blue salad!. The absolutely only bad thing I can say is I forgot to ask if it had onions.. I hate onions!. The salad was great, the meat was done as ordered medium / medium rare (pink). Perfect. The waitress thought it may have a bit too much dressing so she brought me a "dinner salad" for more lettuce. The house made dressing was awesome! So why only 4 stars you ask?? Nothing is perfect if it was we would have nothing to strive for. I hope you will try this establishment it will be worth it in my book! read more

We visited Bucks shortly after the reopening to 25%. The wait staff was 5 star. Super friendly and very attentive. Prices had gone up but understandably considering what turmoil the pandemic has put on eating establishments. our meal was great ....hard to mess up on fish and chips! my husband had a very nice wine. Our waitress was very experienced and gave us 5 star service. The only reason i dropped to a 4 was over all cleanliness. Considering the place had been operating in limited capacity i kinda felt it needed a deep cleaning. read more

hailey, the hostess, made a wonderful first impression upon arrival. we'd only been here one time before and the service provided by bre was exceptional and prompted us to come back and visit a second time as we don't go out often to eat. unfortunately she wasn't working, but we lucked out with our waitress amanda. along with the delicious food, amanda graced us with amazing service. she's a great conversationalist, attentive, and she seemed to be the only waitress running around on a busy night, but dang is she good! she made the ambiance of the restaurant that much better. take care of these girls! thanks Bucks! read more

Hadn't been to Bucks for a couple years, probably won't be back. Restarauunt was clean, service was great, our waitress was busy but attentive. I have been going to Buck's for close to 10 years now. I am a big fan. I became a vegetarian about 1-1/2 years ago but am able to find good options. The ownership changed recently but the quality has remained and the service has always been excellent. If you are looking for good American food, this is the place to go. read more

A historic building with a great local restaurant! The limited menu helps guests choose quickly, their wine list was well-rounded for a small establishment and the staff were all very helpful. Oh yeah, the food.... our appetizers of buttery clam chowder and sesame-crusted Ahi had good flavor. Our two main courses were entree-salads. The steak salad had a twist. Buck's is one of the few good lunch restaurants in Everett. It is a small place with good fish, sandwiches and salad. The blue plate specials are good in general. My favorite dish is the mahi mahi. If you're looking for a place to go for a business lunch, I'd recommend it. If you're going to lunch with your family (and you have kids), forget it. They will not give you good service. I just ate my pick up meal and it was so delicious!! I got the steak skewers and the spicing was perfect as was the dipping sauce. The meat was done perfectly and so tender!! I also had the wedge salad and theirs is the best. Sooooo good! Every meal I have had at Buck's has been delicious and perfectly cooked. This is a great restaurant but they also care about people. Buck's is an amazing place to eat, and after visiting with my family numerous times I can say that they are one of our favorite places to eat. The food is delicious, and there are many choices to choose from. The fish tacos are the best fish tacos I've ever had, and their Buck's Deluxe burger is amazing! The Peanut Butter Pie is delicicous, and I often want another slice, but my head says no. They also have an amazing Chocolate Lava Cake, which is often shared between us all. The drinks are very nice. They have a good amount of choices and are often very, very nice. They serve good beer, and other drinks alike. They have great drinks for kids as well, such as root beer, lemonades, and sodas. The staff is amazing, and are always nice. They always get to you no matter how busy the restaurant is. The food was good but the service sucked! My wife and I just had dinner tonight. Not once after our food was brought to us did our waitress check in on us. My wife had to go to the bar to ask for a glass of wine. No one returned to our table to check on us or ask us if we cared for dessert. I had to ask a young lady with a water pitcher for the check.
