But it is also tasty, has online ordering that you can do before the commute, and gets the basics right. The service is also friendly and unforced. The general manager, Mason, noticed that my mother and I had not ordered drinks, so he presented us with water cups once we motioned towards the dine-in tables. They are happy to take orders verbally, but there's also a kiosk for punching in your order. (I always prefer verbal; my job has enough apps in it for a day!) My go-to is the chicken breast teriyaki with veggies and white rice. The char on the chicken breast is so delicious!

Please think about your customers and adjust the menus to a more appropriate line of sight. The staff was friendly at the counter, but they also have a self-serve kiosk next to the front counter if you prefer that option. I ordered the Chicken Katsu bowl for takeout. The food was a bit pricey for the portion. Next time I'll try it as dine-in to see if there is any difference. Overall it was ok, will try again.

The meal came with a baked potato, steamed vegetables, and two dozen steamed clams, all washed down with a cold bottle of Briar's root beer. Pub 199 feels like walking into a natural history museum inside a hunting lodge, surrounded by taxidermy and rustic decor. The service is consistently excellent, the atmosphere is comfortable, and the prices remain very reasonable. If you enjoy classic New Jersey spots with character and reliable food, this is one worth visiting. If you've been here, feel free to share your experience or leave a review.

There were many places to sit at the bar and live music. If you aren't a fan of taxidermy, then don't go here, but if you are ok with it, all the animals (and there were many) were adorned with festive lights and hats. People were very jovial and families were celebrating together. It used to be cash only, but they accept credit cards for a small fee. The price of food is incredible! My husband and I both got porterhouse steaks which were cooked perfectly! They came with veggies and baked potatoes for only $32! Full bar, excellent options and it feels like home. Stop in and bring your crew. I know I'll be back

So when I saw $2 off sushi buffet at this local eatery, I harangued my friend into visiting. And forgot my coupon. (Actually, I discovered it's been in my wallet this whole time. Return trip!) The most notable points: Ambiance is simple, not a lot of room inside. Service is punctual but not the most easily understandable in English. All you can eat is not buffet. It's "order and be served", which I have also seen at Miga Sushi. So we did that. They will bring you a fresh piece of paper every time. I stuck to the sushi side of the menu for the most part. The one thing I sprung for on the other side was the spicy seaweed salad, to get my veggies in. And it was really good. Not your usual green rubbery goop. Stringy, spicy dressing, great flavor. 5 stars will get next time. Appetizer, I also did "not raw" and went for the fried scallops. Well, they were still kinda raw inside, which I really enjoyed. Gobbled those up. The rest of my time here was spent mashing through roll after delicious roll of sushi. I definitely had fun with that. Ended the afternoon with a scoop of green tea ice cream, which if you read the fine print is also included in AYCE. Strong 4 stars to start, I'll throw the 5th their way because AYCE. Now I have to go spend this coupon...

Hoping to give this sushi place a better review as it's not easy running any restaurants these days…read more. Yet I feel the rolls are not that exciting or fresh, temp feels off not chilled enough. The decor is minimal with no focal point , I'm not sure what to look at . The servers are working take out and sitting down is an inconvenience i think. I saw another review , it felt similar so now I know it's not me. Rare would I return when driving extra distance can be a completely satisfying experience ! Needs new owners or management .

The staff is fast and attentive and the theme / atmosphere is clean and authentic. Last table we had was Osaka inspired. We used to go to our local sushi place which was good. But each specialty roll cost between $17.00 and $19.99. 4 rolls and an app costs more than Miga - where you get everything you would want and more. The desert is also included with a few great options including my favorite- green tea ice cream. Highly recommend. Make reservations as it gets really packed. Enjoy!

This used to be one of my favorite all you can eat sushi spots, and I honestly recommended it to a lot of people. I hadn't been back in about a year, but since it's always packed, I assumed the quality was still the same. Unfortunately, it wasn't. The biggest issue was the freshness. The sushi tasted like it had been prepared hours earlier instead of being made fresh to order. The fish lacked that fresh, clean flavor I remembered, and the texture just wasn't right. The sashimi slices were surprisingly tiny compared to what they used to serve, and both the eel and the albacore tuna tasted old, which was really disappointing. On top of that, the portions were noticeably smaller across several dishes. I don't mind smaller portions at an all you can eat restaurant if the quality is there, but this time neither the quality nor the freshness met the standard I remembered. I'm not sure if management or the kitchen has changed, but the experience was completely different from what it used to be. I truly hope this was just an off day because this restaurant was once one of my favorites. Sadly, based on this visit, I can't say I'd rush back.
