Whenever my wife and I shopped at Lowe's on a Saturday, we'd try to stop in at the Longhorn for a cocktail after. Yesterday was the first time we've been back there in a few years. This is the first time we've been there since it was reopened. The restaurant, especially the bar, looks great! Our server was also helpful and friendly. They have drink specials, including my Jack & Cokes for around $5....can't beat that! We ordered a couple of appetizers, the Wild West Shrimp and the White Cheddar Stuffed Mushrooms. Both were delicious and huge, a lot of food. They also serve bread beforehand which was very good. It was fun stopping back in here. Great place for appetizers and drinks! read more

Pleasant experience even though the wait time is long. Clean resto with clean and smelling good restroom. The food is cooked well even though there is a high number of customers. Good wifi connection. Ambiance is calm and soothing. Classy aesthetics. Ample spacing between tables. When arriving the host told us 45 minutes. 45 minutes came by and we approached the stand again. With an attitude the host told us the table wasn't ready. Management kept walking back and forth. Didn't even acknowledge the situation when they finally called us was 1:15 minutes later we couldn't go because we had 3 kids with us and they were hungry. Had dinner last night with 3 friends. Waiter came to our table after waiting awhile and apologized. He had misplaced a customers credit card. We had a good meal, and when we received the check, we paid in cash. Bill was $162 and we gave him $38 tip for a total of $200. Two fiftty dollar bills, two tens and four 20's. I checked cash before we handed to him and he looked at it and walked away for awhile. ..we said no change and Thank you. He returns to table and says there was only $150 there. A $50 was missing. That is not possible, we put money in folder. So needless to say his word against ours. After arguing, we ended up paying an additional $12 to cover bill. We spoke to manager, who listened and really didn't care too much. Gave us each a $10 coupon and said he would speak to server. Who knows if he did. So when you go there, either count money in front of server, or pay by credit card, and be charged a fee. Very disappointed in the service . We have been going to this restaurant for years. The food is excellent and priced very fairly...perhaps even a bargain. Where else can you get a chicken buttermilk sandwich and a side of delicious fries for lunch for only $9.99? I'm a vegetarian in a steak house. That being said I get the strawberry salad and baked potato to go. They are reasonably priced and great portions. The baked potato is 1,000 times better than the Wendy's baked potato and for the same or lower price. They even include a side of bread. Sometimes "You don't know what you got till it's Gone" I have a Huge amount of Love and Respect for this particular LongHorn Steakhouse not only did they have to deal with all that pandemic crap but over the past year they've been closed down due to a devastating fire which left almost nothing but a few charred structural remains. But just like the Phoenix this place now rises anew and has become even better than it ever was before.    In the past I've always appreciated how everything that comes outta that kitchen is and has been excellently prepared, seasoned, and cooked to perfection whether we're talking about Steak, Seafood, Chicken, Chops, Ribs, Greens or Dessert, it's All really Top Notch Food.   Equally as Top Notch here is their Service which has always impressed me from the first time I ever stopped in. Take for instance my all time favorite Server, Susan D. whose been here loving her job and excelling at it incredibly well for over fifteen years. Her bubbly personality and Super Friendly hospitality are always second to none. Nowadays [especially nowadays] Great Service is almost an extinct art form in itself so when I witness it in person, I feel it definitely has to be noted, so here goes: Refreshments hit the table just minutes after our seating and all were consistently maintained. Complimentary Bread and Butter were always at the ready. Friendly input and menu recommendations offered and in many cases accepted and appreciated. All ordered food was delivered from the kitchen hot and at the perfect time so as not to clutter up the table which she efficiently bussed herself. She also looked in on us regularly especially right after food arrived but never imposed Herself in any way. First time for long horn and oh boy it reminds me of an upscale outback with fabulous quality and price. Drink menu specials were amazing. They start you off with bread and butter similar to outback. We ordered a full rack of rib and they're famous rib eye. I love how we could upgrade the sides to signature sides and the brussel sprouts were so worth every dollars of it. The rack of ribs fell off the bone but lacking in flavor, it really required the bbq sauce on top. The steak was phenomenally cooked to perfect where it was soft and juicy. Definitely would be back. Driving through on an out of state trip. I haven't been to a Longhorn in over a decade but I have no problems with it. The servers, hostesses, and waitresses were friendly and efficient. We got our food within a reasonable time period. The bathrooms were clean. I liked their crispy chicken sandwich. It was thinned and breaded nicely although it didn't have much flavor. Still pretty busy as we had to wait 30 mins for a table of 2, but it was definitely worth the wait since we came in starving and left the restaurant with a food baby. For appetizers, we order the Firecracker Chicken Wraps. It was very cheesy, with small bits of chicken in it (definitely tasted more of the cheese than chicken). Bread that came with our entree was warm and super soft. I ordered the Maverick Ribeye Sandwich with a side of caesar salad. The caesar salad had a strong parmesan flavor which I loved and was covered completely in dressing. However the Mavericks sandwich was very oily. The oil the ribeye was cooked in made the sandwich soggy and did not have a toasty crunch to it. The ribeye itself was really good though, with a peppery flavor and was pretty tender. My son and I were up in Mount Olive and I ran into another instance of my son wanting Longhorn. I'm a sucker for taking the kids out when we're shopping. We were here for lunch, but we both jumped in with steak. We started with salads (he had a Caesar and I had the normal house salad) and my son got the Flat Iron steak and I got the New York Strip. Both of us got baked potatoes as well. Steaks were pretty good--well seasoned and cooked just to medium and the potatoes were just as they are everywhere else. When it comes to a place like Longhorn I expect consistency and this one made the grade. Good meal, pleasant and fast service and clean. No reason not to return. read more

They don't do reservations for small parties, but my recommendation is to sit at one of the bar top tables if your wait is long. Last night, our wait was going to be almost an hour, not unusual for a Saturday night here. So, as soon as a bar top opened up, we grabbed it. I absolutely love the blazing berry sangria here. It's around $8 for this massive glass, which is awesome. Also, most dinner entrees come with a salad and another side. One of my go-to's here are the chicken fingers, which I usually get with a garden salad and a loaded baked potato. My fiancé and I just adore their garden salad, as it has the perfect proportion of lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers and red onions. Other party members were happy with their meals. The server was attentive up until desert. I ordered the strawberry cake and it never arrived. We will be avoiding this location. Our first anniversary was the Sandy hurricane so my Mother took us out here to celebrate. That was 2012. Today we decided to go there to celebrate our 6th wedding anniversary and it was a phenomenal experience. We had the sirloin and ribeye. Both tender, flavorful and delicious!
