Service was great and the food is always consistent and cooked perfectly! Not to mention you will always leave full.

Respect The Horn!! Legendary Steaks Are Back Baby!!

Sometimes "You don't know what you got till it's Gone" I have a Huge amount of Love and Respect for this particular LongHorn Steakhouse not only did they have to deal with all that pandemic crap but over the past year they've been closed down due to a devastating fire which left almost nothing but a few charred structural remains. But just like the Phoenix this place now rises anew and has become even better than it ever was before.    In the past I've always appreciated how everything that comes outta that kitchen is and has been excellently prepared, seasoned, and cooked to perfection whether we're talking about Steak, Seafood, Chicken, Chops, Ribs, Greens or Dessert, it's All really Top Notch Food.   Equally as Top Notch here is their Service which has always impressed me from the first time I ever stopped in. Take for instance my all time favorite Server, Susan D. whose been here loving her job and excelling at it incredibly well for over fifteen years. Her bubbly personality and Super Friendly hospitality are always second to none. Nowadays [especially nowadays] Great Service is almost an extinct art form in itself so when I witness it in person, I feel it definitely has to be noted, so here goes: Refreshments hit the table just minutes after our seating and all were consistently maintained. Complimentary Bread and Butter were always at the ready. Friendly input and menu recommendations offered and in many cases accepted and appreciated. All ordered food was delivered from the kitchen hot and at the perfect time so as not to clutter up the table which she efficiently bussed herself. She also looked in on us regularly especially right after food arrived but never imposed Herself in any way. And with doggie bags in hand ready for our departure, She always creates an absolute pleasurable dining experience Start to Finish with Each and Every visit. Cheers and Thank You Susan D. You ROCK!! And so that's the story of the Return of the Legendary LongHorn Steakhouse of Flanders. Now all that's left to do is.... Come And Get Your Munch On!!

R Outlaw Ribeye with crispy brussel sprouts

First time for long horn and oh boy it reminds me of an upscale outback with fabulous quality and price. Drink menu specials were amazing. They start you off with bread and butter similar to outback. We ordered a full rack of rib and they're famous rib eye. I love how we could upgrade the sides to signature sides and the brussel sprouts were so worth every dollars of it. The rack of ribs fell off the bone but lacking in flavor, it really required the bbq sauce on top. The steak was phenomenally cooked to perfect where it was soft and juicy. Definitely would be back. Cesar salad was good too with freshly shaved cheese.

This's a brand new place and the food taste amazing. Note: normally they prepare the stakes salted, but if you request light seasoning it'll taste amazing!!

Since Longhorn opened again in Mount Olive, the food is exceptional. Our server, Candace was extremely pleasant. We will be back to see her.

Food was better than ever; delicious and plentiful! Kitchen Service was not great because of a birthsay party of 23 just ahead of us.

I do love the smells of a BBQ joint. So this is one of those places where you order up front and they bring it to your table...no waiters or waitresses. We ordered the combo for two - 1/2 pound smoked brisket, 1/2 pound pulled pork, 2 pieces of cornbread, baked beans, Mac n cheese and pickles. I also got a Smokehouse Dog- jumbo Thumann's dog with smoked cheddar, smoked shredded brisket, and caramelized onions. Just be aware, they have Jones' soda - not Coke or Pepsi products. I don't drink soda often, but Jones' is simply better than the other two. So, the combo came with huge portions. They also have four types of house-made sauces at the tables - honey bourbon BBQ, sweet hickory smoked, mango jalapeño bbq, and a Texas gold mustard bbq. The sauces were excellent. I loved the hot dog, however I don't think it was the huge Thumann's grilling dog, as it was shorter than those. Regardless, this was a delicious dog. More shredded brisket than I expected and the whole thing was pretty filling. The menu here is expansive so I MUST come back to try some of the sandwiches and other platters. Make the trip, it's worth the drive!

What a delicious experience I had tonight at Roasted Breadfruit. One of the things I miss most…read moreabout living out here is Caribbean food and I'm so happy that I found them online. We started off with the fried pickles that were the perfect combination of crunchy and tasty. The best fried pickles I've had because the batter was seasoned and the pickles were cooked yet still crunchy. They created a sorrel type dipping sauce that was absolutely out of this world. What drew me to this was the smoked brisket sandwich. The brisket was flavorful and literally melted in your mouth. It was topped with melted cheese and a mango habanero chutney that was out of this world. The flavor profile of this dish was exquisite. My husband did a make your own meal, which included two meats and two sides. He opted for the jerk chicken an ribs with a side of Caribbean rice and fried plantain. He really enjoyed the cook on the meats. I can't wait to come back and try their Mac and cheese.

Roasted Breadfruit Smokehouse and Grill in Wharton, NJ is a pretty terrific stop a 800 mile drive. The smells permeating from this roadhouse diner were intoxicating. I ordered the Quit Jerkin' Around with Smoked pulled pork, slaw, jerk bbq sauce on a toasted brioche bun. served with fries and slaw which I totally enjoyed. My y son ordered the Jerk Chicken Leg Quarter Spicy Jerk chicken leg quarter served with rice and beans and sweet plantains which he devoured We sat outside as this dog friendly restaurant was so welcoming. The staff was accommodating informative as to what Caribbean cuisine was all about. Everything these nice people did for us was so gracious you couldn't do anything but love this place.

We went here for lunch. I had the Lucia salad, an amazing combination of lettuce, tomatoes,…read morecranberries, avocado, mango, and grilled chicken. It was so good, I didn't even bother with dressing. My son had the daily special of chorizo tacos. While they did come on flour tortillas, which are not his favorite, the chorizo itself was absolutely delicious. I normally avoid chorizo because it can be super-spicy, but in this case, it was just beautifully flavored with touches of greens and onions on top. We both got the house-made lemonades to drink. One with mint and ginger, which my son quite liked (it's the one that looks like a green potion in the photos); one with lavender, which I adored. We were also offered toast with three different house sauces to try on it as a complementary appetizer. The decor and ambience is cozy, inviting, and charming. Service was prompt and courteous. Overall, this is a little gem of an eatery in Hackettstown that I can highly recommend.

So yes, by my highly scientific logic, this is also a Mexican spot. The decor definitely leans Mexico, heavy, which its amazing, kept reminding me of my favorite Mexican restaurant. But anyway, we're not here for interior design, we're here to eat. There's a LOT going on here, menu wise and vibe pwise, but in a good way. I ordered the Sandwiches de Miga 'Olímpico' and if you haven't tried them yet, that's a personal failure you can still fix. They're a must. Soft, classic, comforting... except for the edges. The edges were... questionable. Hard/frozen-ish. Not blaming anyone directly, maybe the fridge settings were on "Antarctica," maybe they weren't fully thawed. We'll never know. But that first bite hurt emotionally. It was like ordering a burger without pickles, taking a confident bite, and BOOM! pickle. Suddenly your whole day shifts slightly off center. Service wise: the guy at the counter stared at me, I started my order with zero greeting, felt like human self checkout, and I'm fine with that. Sometimes you don't want conversation, you just want carbs. Despite the frozen edge plot twist, I'm 100% coming back. The food has real potential, the place has character, and I need to try their asado.
