    Steak Burrito and Quesadilla
    Tamara R.

Let me start by saying that Seaside is an amazing atmosphere for both adults and children. I was highly disappointed with the food and wish I had read the reviews before choosing this spot. My husband ordered a steak quesadilla and I ordered a burrito. My burrito was a 7 out of 10, but husband's quesadilla was a 1 out of 10. It was literally 2-3 tablespoons of steak, a tablespoon of peppers, and cheese- THATS IT! It was most definitely not filling at all. With 2 margaritas, our meal came to $70!!! We don't mind paying for meals, but we do mind paying $70 meals that aren't upholding a standard. We would never go back here again.

It's fine, it's not amazing, but not bad either. We ate here late around 9:00pm and it wasn't very busy, but during the day it is a popular place since it it's near the town square. This restaurant is connected to the main Bud & Alley's and their pizza restaurant too.

Great food and drinks are found in this little seaside bar. Fun atmosphere and great staffing and service. Basically, they have Tacos and Drinks. Who would have figured from the name?? It is as advertised. They were kind enough to allow Miss Tiff to belly up to the bar and enjoy the atmosphere.

We came for lunch while shopping in the area and had a great experience! We sat at the bar and service was amazing and so fast! We got chips and guac, the al pastor tacos, and the grilled steak tacos. The tacos were large and a so delicious. The meat was tender and well spiced. The guac was thick, creamy, and refreshing. You can't beat a taco bar by the ocean. The ambiance was the quintessential beach town experience. Highly recommend for a quick stop.

    Mango Margarita Monday!!!

While visiting Santa Rosa beach with family, we decided to come to the Seaside area for some dinner because they have the cutest area with all sorts of food trucks and tiny restaurants so everyone could just pick what they wanted. I opted for Bud and Alley's Taco Bar since the first place I wanted was pretty much out of food by that time but the Taco Bar seemed like a good spot after I checked out their menu. There were a lot of people hanging out so I figured hey, this must be a good place. Well, the food and the mango margarita I had was good but the service was pure trash. That three star rating is based on the food and drink alone. Anyway, when I say at the bar and looked at the menu, the lady behind the bar just kinda looked at me and hovered without greeting me or anything so I finally said "hi...May I have..." and she was like okay and walked away. Not sure if she was having a rough night but ma'am...I know I didn't contribute to it. Placed my order and she just pushed my drink towards me asking with my bill on a clipboard. I signed and left a tip but she never let me know how long my food would take to be ready or ask if I needed anything else. She took the signed receipt and pretty much just walked away without saying much of anything. Hence the reason the service was trash. Ten minutes later I managed to see a guy coming out from the kitchen area with a bag of food that I assumed was mine and sure enough he placed it on the counter and she just pushed it towards me. Again, she never said "thank you" or say "hey, here's your food". So this is pretty much why I gave the three stars because the service could've been soooo much better but it wasn't so there's that. The food was delicious though! The mango margarita was delicious as well! I had a shrimp burrito and it was huge. Full of shrimp, rice, lettuce, cheese, beans, sour cream, and tomatoes. Very tasty and filling. If I'm ever in the area again, I'd definitely try this place again based off the delicious food and drink that I had but if I saw the lady who served me during this visit, I'd probably go the other way.

I added Cholula sauce just to try and help it.
    Manesseh I.

Run or this place is gonna give you the runs! We all realized after one bite this food sucked! No flavor just blahhh...One of our friends has been so sick all day after dinner here. So so very disappointed! Spent so much money here too. The drinks are crazy expensive too! I got a double skinny margarita and it was $29!!! Would have and should have just ate again at La Casitas in Seagrove, but ya know it's "Bud and Ally's". Such a massive let down! Spent $115 at this place for tasteless garbage tacos. We will not be returning.

Carnitas Taco (twice cooked pork), Grilled Shrimp Taco, House Made Chips and Queso
    Mandy C.

Food is mediocre here. I ordered the grilled shrimp taco and carnitas taco with chips and queso. The shrimp was definitely not grilled and was extremely bland. The carnitas taco was extra peppery without much other flavor. The corn tortillas were old and stale. The queso was pretty good, but definitely could do with some extra ingredients. It was a white queso with cilantro. Definitely would not pay to eat here again unless I was starving for weeks.

Food and drinks were amazing!!! We got chips+guacamole, tacos, and coconut margs and red sangria! Everything came out fast and was so yummy

Insanely good burritos and tacos. Quite expensive but not too bad for it being seaside.

All were quality choices. We were seated in the inside bar area which was nice from the standpoint of having views of the Choctawhatchee Bay. There is also an indoor dining room with table clothes that feels a bit more refined. In addition to watching the bay, we were also able to do a little people watching. The crowd at the outdoor picnic tables enjoying drinks on the edge of the bay also seemed to be having a good time. Our server was awesome. She said it was her second day but I assumed she was a seasoned server for Farm & Fire. She was friendly and attentive and great with all of our questions. She had clearly studied the menu and knew the restaurant. The building has lots of different levels/elevations and stairs. Additionally, a majority of the parking is across the street. For that reason, I wouldn't take someone with limited mobility there but I enjoyed it and I would return.

Right when we arrived, we were walked to our table, which was a booth and was plenty of room for the 5 of us. When we were walking to our table, I noticed how nice this restaurant was! The ambiance was on point. Very nice but not too nice. Our waiter immediately addressed us when we sat down and gave us his recommendations for drinks. I decided on the peach Paloma spritz. It was delicious and well presented. Others in my party got red wine, a French 75 and the market ranch water. I thought mine was the most delicious lol. Before we ordered our appetizers, the waiter was so beyond knowledgeable about the whole menu. Gave us all of the specials like nothing I have ever heard before. He was so great! For our appetizers, we got the bread butter candle, smoked fish dip, and the burrata salad. The bread butter candle was the best thing I've ever had! It was so cool and very unique. I absolutely loved the burrata salad, but I thought the fish dip was a tad too fishy for me. For our entrees, most of the table got the red fish and the other two got the steak and the pasta. We all devoured the red fish! It was so delicious and a good portion. Others in my pastry weren't fans of the pasta, but the steak was one of the best I've ever tasted. From the service to the food to the ambiance, this place is one of my favorites I've ever dined at! I can't wait to come back!

Our bartender-server, Vanessa, was absolutely fantastic. She was extremely attentive without being overbearing and gave us excellent suggestions throughout our meal. Her recommendations truly made our experience even better. We started with the Butter Candle and the Gulf Shrimp Scampi with lemon beurre blanc--and WOW! The scampi was a 10/10. The flavor and presentation were absolutely incredible, and every bite was better than the last. We then split the much-talked-about Parmesan Crusted Snapper, served with garlic butter, artichoke hearts, and tomatoes. At Vanessa's suggestion, we substituted the fingerling potatoes for the truffle mashed potatoes, and we were so glad we did. Everything was absolutely melt-in-your-mouth delicious and incredibly flavorful. From Vanessa's exceptional service, to the beautiful atmosphere, to the incredible quality and presentation of the food, every part of our experience was outstanding. My husband and I both agreed that this meal was truly something special. Without hesitation, we give Gallion's a 10/10! If you're visiting Rosemary Beach, Florida, Gallion's is a definite must-visit restaurant. We can't wait to return!
