Grilled Steak Taco and Al Pastor Taco

It's fine, it's not amazing, but not bad either. We ate here late around 9:00pm and it wasn't very busy, but during the day it is a popular place since it it's near the town square. This restaurant is connected to the main Bud & Alley's and their pizza restaurant too.

Great food and drinks are found in this little seaside bar. Fun atmosphere and great staffing and service. Basically, they have Tacos and Drinks. Who would have figured from the name?? It is as advertised. They were kind enough to allow Miss Tiff to belly up to the bar and enjoy the atmosphere.

We came for lunch while shopping in the area and had a great experience! We sat at the bar and service was amazing and so fast! We got chips and guac, the al pastor tacos, and the grilled steak tacos. The tacos were large and a so delicious. The meat was tender and well spiced. The guac was thick, creamy, and refreshing. You can't beat a taco bar by the ocean. The ambiance was the quintessential beach town experience. Highly recommend for a quick stop.

    Mango Margarita Monday!!!

While visiting Santa Rosa beach with family, we decided to come to the Seaside area for some dinner because they have the cutest area with all sorts of food trucks and tiny restaurants so everyone could just pick what they wanted. I opted for Bud and Alley's Taco Bar since the first place I wanted was pretty much out of food by that time but the Taco Bar seemed like a good spot after I checked out their menu. There were a lot of people hanging out so I figured hey, this must be a good place. Well, the food and the mango margarita I had was good but the service was pure trash. That three star rating is based on the food and drink alone. Anyway, when I say at the bar and looked at the menu, the lady behind the bar just kinda looked at me and hovered without greeting me or anything so I finally said "hi...May I have..." and she was like okay and walked away. Not sure if she was having a rough night but ma'am...I know I didn't contribute to it. Placed my order and she just pushed my drink towards me asking with my bill on a clipboard. I signed and left a tip but she never let me know how long my food would take to be ready or ask if I needed anything else. She took the signed receipt and pretty much just walked away without saying much of anything. Hence the reason the service was trash. Ten minutes later I managed to see a guy coming out from the kitchen area with a bag of food that I assumed was mine and sure enough he placed it on the counter and she just pushed it towards me. Again, she never said "thank you" or say "hey, here's your food". So this is pretty much why I gave the three stars because the service could've been soooo much better but it wasn't so there's that. The food was delicious though! The mango margarita was delicious as well! I had a shrimp burrito and it was huge. Full of shrimp, rice, lettuce, cheese, beans, sour cream, and tomatoes. Very tasty and filling. If I'm ever in the area again, I'd definitely try this place again based off the delicious food and drink that I had but if I saw the lady who served me during this visit, I'd probably go the other way.

I added Cholula sauce just to try and help it.

Run or this place is gonna give you the runs! We all realized after one bite this food sucked! No flavor just blahhh...One of our friends has been so sick all day after dinner here. So so very disappointed! Spent so much money here too. The drinks are crazy expensive too! I got a double skinny margarita and it was $29!!! Would have and should have just ate again at La Casitas in Seagrove, but ya know it's "Bud and Ally's". Such a massive let down! Spent $115 at this place for tasteless garbage tacos. We will not be returning.

Carnitas Taco (twice cooked pork), Grilled Shrimp Taco, House Made Chips and Queso

Food is mediocre here. I ordered the grilled shrimp taco and carnitas taco with chips and queso. The shrimp was definitely not grilled and was extremely bland. The carnitas taco was extra peppery without much other flavor. The corn tortillas were old and stale. The queso was pretty good, but definitely could do with some extra ingredients. It was a white queso with cilantro. Definitely would not pay to eat here again unless I was starving for weeks.

    Baja Style Fish Taco

Food and drinks were amazing!!! We got chips+guacamole, tacos, and coconut margs and red sangria! Everything came out fast and was so yummy

Insanely good burritos and tacos. Quite expensive but not too bad for it being seaside.

We went to Farm & Fire looking for quality food and we found it there along with bay views and great service. My table had salad, steaks, wagyu burgers and crab and artichoke dip. All were quality choices. We were seated in the inside bar area which was nice from the standpoint of having views of the Choctawhatchee Bay. There is also an indoor dining room with table clothes that feels a bit more refined. In addition to watching the bay, we were also able to do a little people watching. The crowd at the outdoor picnic tables enjoying drinks on the edge of the bay also seemed to be having a good time. Our server was awesome. She said it was her second day but I assumed she was a seasoned server for Farm & Fire. She was friendly and attentive and great with all of our questions. She had clearly studied the menu and knew the restaurant. The building has lots of different levels/elevations and stairs. Additionally, a majority of the parking is across the street. For that reason, I wouldn't take someone with limited mobility there but I enjoyed it and I would return.

We looked up reviews and came across Bud & Alley's Restaurant as a likely way to do so. We were quite pleased with our experience once we found a table. When we arrived where you could make a reservation for a table downstairs, we were told the better views were upstairs with tables available for anyone who found them. We walked around for a while looking for a table opening up and though we didn't find any tables on the deck upstairs, we did find one with a gorgeous view well before sunset. The server being one of only a few there that night checked on us many times and was very helpful. We each ordered drinks. I got a Frozen Beach Bellini consisting of Lamarca prosecco with peach purée topped with an edible orchid. Then, when ordering dinner, my friend and I each ordered an eight ounce filet mignon consisting of grilled asparagus, Yukon mashed potatoes, and bordelaise sauce. My wife ordered a roasted salmon consisting of green lentils with pancetta and fennel, arugula, and dijon vinaigrette. We were quite delighted with everything we ate and drank! Bud & Alley's has been an award winning iconic restaurant in Seaside Florida since 1986, serving delicious farm- and fish-to-table food, offering exceptional service and making seaside memories for generations. Their restaurant hours are daily from 8 AM to 9:30 PM while the roof deck bar is open daily from 8 AM to 10 PM. They no longer have a happy hour though they have a limited menu Their website (https://www.budandalleys.com) has a lot of great information from the menu, reservation page, newsletter signup (for news, events, recipes and offers), events, reviews, beach cam, online ordering, gallery, press stories, and even links to other Bud and Alley restaurants. You can also sign up for Bud and Alley's Rewards at https://www.toasttab.com/s-w-d-r-grill-inc-dba-bud-alleys/rewardsSignup where you can earn earn 1 point for every $1.50 spent and unlock $5 off every 50 points. There may even be a birthday bonus. As a fun fact, the restaurant is actually named after a dog and cat and not people. You can see that in the logo. If you're in the area and want a good meal with good service and an excellent view, check it out!

The outside was finished nicely, but inside the crab was runny and was as if it was thawed out and then they prepared it. A mushy mess! The grilled grouper entree was better but low on flavor. Sweet potato fries were cold. The calamari appetizer never showed up and only two people working the bar (which was slammed). We had to get up multiple times to ask for water or a napkin, etc. They gave us a rag to wipe down the outside tables before we sat down! ( great, now we work there!) The most enjoyable part of the dinner was the Big Bear sourdough bread! Bud & Alley's waterfront restaurant is not fine dining and expect to find better food elsewhere unless you're just looking for some great drinks and average food, and a sunset then pull up a chair. Also make note in Seaside there are resort fees added like on our bill of $180, we had to pay a $4.38 Entertainment fee and not negotiable. It only takes one bad experience and this was it. on another note, Bud and Alley's Italian restaurant with pizzas are much better choice!
