The only thing I love more than a dessert bar/buffet is a breakfast buffet so Buddha berry is my second favorite place to "eat"! I was delighted to be able to get a vegan, gluten-free waffle here. The base is buckwheat flour so it's a little dense, but it was a wonderful treat with cinnamon crunchies added to the batter, Nutella drizzled on top, and fresh raspberries. I loved it so much I ate breakfast here twice over Memorial Day weekend. The owner was very nice and accommodating, and the shop is a cheery place to enjoy your treats. I was in the mood for a Frappuchino, and since there are no Starbucks in the area, I decided to go in to Buddha Berry's and ask if they sold a frozen coffee that was similar to a frappuchino. I was told by the person befind the counter that they made smoothies which were very similar. My husband and I then walked in and requested 2 small coffee smoothies. The person taking the order, who I believe was the owner, asked what flavor yogurt I wanted to make the coffee smoothie. I replied vanilla and then sat down while my husband paid $10.63 for what he believed was the price for 2 and waited for it. He was then presented with 1 small coffee smoothie to which he asked "where's the other one?" He was told he only paid for one. He decided to just keep the one and brought it over for us to share. It was not only expensive, but it also tasted terrible. If indeed yogurt was added to it, it surely didn't taste of it. It was more like a slushy, full of ice and a bitter coffee. read more

This place is grubby and over priced. No small containers to use for kids and disinterested staff. The vanilla froyo tasted like vinegar.

As a long term fan and customer of BuddhaBerry, I hate to leave a negative review however I feel it is important to let others know about my recent disappointing experience. I visited BuddhaBerry on a Friday evening with two friends, the shop was especially busy and loud. Due to the pandemic, customers can no longer serve themselves so we placed our orders with a staff member and were told that our names and a number would be called for toppings. After my friend heard her name (Anna - all names have been changed for the sake of anonymity) called (number was not heard), verified her name with the server, and chose her toppings, she moved to pay. We then heard her name called again from a different server for a different order. It was at this point that we realized the name they had called first was Hannah and not Anna which was difficult to decipher given the similarity of the two names, noise level in the store, and the fact that the server wore a mask. Hannah, who was in line behind us, agreed that they heard Anna being called first. We apologized and asked if we could redo the order. The server told my friend that she would have to pay for the order she had just put toppings on as well as her original order even though she had not touched either. We requested to speak to the manager to see if we could resolve the issue. The manager was beyond rude and even hostile, threatening that we could not leave the store without paying for both of the frozen yogurts. She made several inappropriate and condescending remarks which were perplexing given that my friend had offered to pay fully for the original order. In the end, my friend felt she had no choice but to pay for both orders, now melted and inedible. The following day we called the store and left a follow up message to no avail. When we visited the store again to request customer service assistance, we were provided with zero help or concern. It is extremely discouraging to see the lack of responsibility from BuddhaBerry, particularly because it has been a go to spot for our family for years. We often bring friends new to the Hamptons there, but after this last experience I would hesitate to bring anyone there or support a store with such poor customer service. The error was an honest and, quite frankly, unavoidable mistake and I believe BuddhaBerry should reevaluate their in store service to avoid future issues from happening. read more

I was a big fan of this place until the woman behind the register (probably the owner) was very rude! I went in there and when I went to pay she gave us the snottiest attitude about how our card wasn't swiping. Finally, after 3 different cards, one swiped and it was a problem with her register, not our cards. She rudely asked for cash and I'm happy to say that's the last $6.50 we will spend there. I will never return here. I ordered an americano. Sign said 3.29. I go to pay and she charges me 4.89. I paid it then think that's not right. I tell her she charged me wrong and point to the sign. She then doesnt say anything but points to a microfont sign at the bottom of the sign that says prices subject to change! Unbelievable. Also my sons frozen yogurt was 11 dollars! What a rip off. This also doesn't fit with the laid back environment of Sag Harbor. Never Again! read more

i come here quite often and the ice cream and toppings are fresh and delicious but my only complaint is the dirty looks the ladies working the register give when you ask for a topping that has to be given to you. i'm a local so i understand the unspoken hatred towards outsiders but the stares i received just to ask for coconut was completely unnecessary especially if i say please and thank you kindly. read more

Buddha Berry Frozen Yogurt is wonderful place, a must for anyone . The ambiance is exactly what it says , zen- like, which is wonderful but the frozen yogurts and desserts are even better. From serve yourself frozen yogurt, gluten and dairy free, to frozen desserts with all kinds of toppings, sorry not only pumpkin seeds, but fresh berries and chocolate, candy, candied fruit, lucky charms: you name it, they have it, also Belgian waffles with option of buckwheat waffle for the health- conscious, delicious soups daily, like lemon lentils with fresh spinach and everything you'd want your children to eat, you could find it here. I am a regular person, not a fancy- yoga like type, which should be fine ,so I filled up my cup to the top with 3 different frozen yogurts and asked for berries on top. I got a look of wonder and probably something else from the owner , who was standing by the shy clerk, she took over the counter and charged me $11.95 for a large, mind you, but self-served frozen yogurt. They only had the large cup sizes but I saw the other guests didn't fill the cups . Well,I did and got a look and an over price. I've never had anything bad from Buddhaberry, but it's just an overrated, overpriced concept. Motif in the shops are cute and enjoyable. They usually have a good variety of flavors, big variety of toppings, and friendly employees waiting to give you samples. So really, there's no reason for you to not be happy with your dessert. Wish the prices were a little cheaper, but usually a good stop for a "unique" dessert experience. read more
