Example of the pricing per sandwich.

Your choice of ingredients is priced at $8.50 added to the bagel price of $1.60 = $10.11per sandwich I think a little pricey in this time of $5.00 specials.

FIRST ID LIKE TO SAY THATTTTT the knly reason I'm giving it a 3 is because it doesn't compare to most jersey spots. In reality it's a 5/5 for the area Being from Jersey I'm a bagel snob. When I moved to PA I was blessed to have Buddies by me. These get the jersey bagel stamp of approval Breakfast sandwiches always slap. Bummed they don't have Pork Roll but sausage egg and cheese on an everything I grew up with here on the weekends Good price, bagels fresh, whoever is working is typically fast with your order dependent on how busy they are and they do get packed Inside there's enough seating and tables open if you plan to sit down but I don't know many people who grab bagels to sit with. More of an on the go thing

Grabbing an everything and happy I did.

I pulled over because I haven't had a decent bagel in years as I've been living on the west coast and Midwest. The place could use a little TLC - but I wasn't there for the aesthetics - I was here for the bagels. I ordered an Everything Bagel w Cream Cheese and was very happy. LOADS of cream cheese! Delicious. The service was also very good. I will definitely be back and I highly recommend this place. It's got great air conditioning, restrooms and plenty of parking. I noticed many breakfast and lunch sandwiches - which I will definitely try next time. If you haven't been - hit up Buddies Bagels in Hazleton you will be happy you did.

Proper schmear cream cheese for days! Bagels were delicious, not super dense which is how they should be. Nice chew Not NY bagels but the closest you will get in PA. Would definitely stop again while traveling. Service was quick and friendly. Bathrooms were not the cleanest would be my only complaint.

Egg, cheese, pork roll, everything bagel.

First appearances... not the best. Worn out looking, messy, oddly placed bins of things I didn't quite understand on each end of the counters. Placed my order at one end, was given a slip to hand to the cashier , who really couldn't read said slip and asked me what I ordered, with no customer service skills. My sandwich was okay tasting, at least the first half which had all three ingredients. The second half, almost no egg, barely a drop of cheese. Tasted like I had ordered pork roll on a bagel. Definitely not what I wanted. There was nothing so impressive that I would go out of my way to return. As a bagel fanatic, I am willing to put some miles on for a good bagel place. Fortunately, I have much better options than this.

Been frequenting Buddies for many years. Today I once again went through the drive-thru with my son, like any time before. I was greeted at the order menu, and asked for the daily soup and a dozen croissants. No response. After a pause, they repeated the greeting. I asked if they could hear me. No response. Then a different voice comes on saying they cannot hear me, so naturally I speak louder. I ask for the daily soup (they're out) and place the rest of my order. Though I'm louder so they can hear me, I'm not screaming or rude. I remain polite saying "please" and "thank you". As I get to the window, I put on my mask. Then put my window down and say " I guess you couldn't hear me over the rain and my vehicle." They still didn't hear me. I just waved my hand, dismissively, and said "that's okay" as I pay. They return my card, then hand me my bag. I thank them again and slowly pull forward. As my son double checks we find a dozen crushed croissants. All because they couldn't hear me and I spoke up? Not cool. At all.

When we arrived and saw that they were in a shopping mall, we were thinking about looking for somewhere else.... Boy I'm SO GLAD that we didn't! We arrived around 12:30 and they were packed - we were able to get a table outside (bar and inside dining area were too noisy for us)! Our server, Ariana O. was great! My wife enjoyed her Flamingo Fandango drink ($ 14.50) with the Torta Ahogada ($18.95) - both were delicious but the sandwich was very messy - better eaten with a knife and fork - and absolutely delicious as were their French fries that she had! I ordered the Beef "Cubano" sandwich ($ 17.95) with a side of golden beets ($ 2.00 up charge) glazed with the same horseradish sauce that was on the sandwich (Ariana's recommendation). Both were wonderful and we shared tastes of each other's items! It was worth the drive up and the impending drive back!!! We also shared a Dark Chocolate Custard pie that featured an Oreo type of crust with whipped cream and shaved dark chocolate as a topping - it tasted wonderful but I felt a little on the small size for the $ 12.95 price! All things considered, I would make the drive again to go back to experience the other items on the menu but as was suggested, I would definitely make a reservation for lunch and definitely would for dinner! FYI: their menu is seasonal so you want to view it online before you go!

My coworkers and I were in Allentown for some meetings and booked a reservation here for dinner…read more Everyone was very impressed! We walked in and even though it was busy we were taken to our reserved table immediately. The place is big with nice decor and ambiance, and the tables are spaced out enough that it keeps the area around you quiet enough to be able to hold a conversation comfortably with the people at your table. Our server was with us quickly and took our drink orders. All of the cocktails were delicious and several of us got a second round! We got the bao buns, chicken skewers, and birria poutine to start and they were all extremely delicious. The poutine tasted more like molé though so I personally wouldn't call it birria, and the cheese was a molten cheddar-like kind and not cheese curds. It was delicious though so no one complained! I got the curry and subbed tofu for shrimp. It was a little bland and I honestly wish there would've been a bit more of the curry itself (there was so much rice) and some more salt/seasoning, but it was fine. I'd give it a 7.5/10. My coworkers all enjoyed their own dishes (especially the rigatoni) and they kept raving about them throughout the whole meal. Our server was attentive and kept the table clean and our water bottles topped up. I definitely recommend checking it out! We're keeping it i. our list for next time we're in town :)
