I found the service to be prompt and the place seems clean. Easy parking, good selection of fast food. Forgetting I'm not in Chicago anymore I asked for everything on my hot dog and they put ketchup on it. No relish, no onions, they did put sport peppers on it, but the ketchup just was so wrong. In all fairness the dog was not described as a "Chicago style dog," but still I just can't get over the ketchup thing. This is my first time ordering from there and the food was quite delicious. I ordered the large cheese and sausage pizza and enjoyed the taste And firmness of the cheese and toppings on the crust. So many times pizza toppings slide all over and this was Enjoyable to open the box and see everything in place. We also ordered the garlic Parmesan boneless wings and those were by far the best tasting Boneless wings I have ever had. The wings are moist and flavorful. I could order the wings solely as a meal and be totally satisfied. I will definitely order from them again. I just wish I was a bit closer to their location but they were able to get the pizza to me on the east side with no problem. Delivery driver was super also. read more

I'm not sure why this place has only 3 stars. We've ordered takeout from them several times and have yet to be disappointed. The portions are substantial (especially the calzone!!) and everything has been fresh, flavorful and delivered in a timely manner by a friendly delivery person (they even call first to let us know they're coming to the door). The pizza has fresh oregano and a chewy crust, the calzone has more filling than dough, which is great, the buffalo wings were spicy, the salads are fresh and plentiful, the gyros taste great- pita bread isn't stale and accompanying cucumber sauce is yummy. Chicken strips are HUGE, burgers were juicy... I'm trying to think of one negative things to say, and I can't come up with one. Ok, wait- I thought of something. Two containers of Greek dressing would be better, same with the tzazkiki sauce. As if those are dealbreakers, lol. Idk what other people are complaining about and frankly, I don't care. We'll continue to order from Buddy's without reservation. And yeah- I'm someone to reckon with. I'm a chef and regular restaurant patron, from several 3 star Michelin to fast food carryout. I placed an order at 7:26pm, I was told I would receive my order in 45 minutes. It is now 9:35pm and I still have not received my order. I called back twice in was told all orders was out for delivery. The last time I called the guy asked if I wanted a refund I told him yes and that I paid with a card. He tells me I would have to call in the morning to speak with the manager. This unacceptable!! I order from you guys almost every Friday and sometimes during the week for lunch. The best thing was the delivery driver was very nice and actually came to my door. I ordered a philly cheesesteak combo, fries very soggy, all veggies very soggy. Meat decent sandwich good size. This food was horrible, we just got wings that were not very tasty or fresh at all. The garlic bread had imitation cheese on it and was only half melted. I did one star because I couldn't choose zero, or negative stars. Placed an order, ONE hour later it still was NOT delivered. Called and they said their driver wouldn't deliver to where I was, although an employee came to my place of employment (about a hour before I called) saying they "were expanding their delivery" and would deliver to where I was at and left a bunch of menus. The woman on the phone said that they "only pay their drivers $5 per delivery so she would take the money out of her own pocket to pay the guy extra to deliver to where I was at". Another hour later, still no food. Mind you, it would have been a 20 minute drive. By the way, they had already taken my payment over the phone (credit card) and it had already gone through. The woman on the phone kept saying to call back because the owner would be in. Finally I called and he told her to tell me to call tomorrow at 10AM and he would help me. Highly unlikely since I've read other reviews about him not reimbursing customers. I already notified my bank of the fraudulent charge and it will be taken care of. I was looking forward to some tasty food, but clearly based on these reviews, their inability to have proper customer service and the owner being shifty as hell about reimbursing a customer who did NOTHING wrong... I was very disappointed yet again. This is the second time I've ordered from this place (thought I'd give them another try) and they managed to disappoint yet again. Their delivery times are outrageous, their food is always overcooked and dried out. Their Shrimp is rubbery and the breading taste like it's burnt. Their chicken is always dry. Well I am back home from leave, in other places popeyes does a special on Tuesdays and I was rather salty when I found out the one nearest my moms house didn't participate, she recommended buddys and I'm am glad she did. We ordered 50 full wings two cartons of fries and got the free two liter. The price point was great the food was great. I placed my order at around 10:30 am, and when I picked my order up at 12:30 pm like I stayed I would during the order, there were errors and the food was nearly cold as if it was made at 10:30 and left under a heat lamp for hours. I ordered a 6 piece chicken dinner, mozzarella sticks, a soda and two pieces of cake. The chicken was dry and smelled bad, the bones were black so you could tell it was old and reheated. The banana pudding was horrible and the three vanilla wafers on top were soggy and gross. The caramel cake was so dry and old you couldn't get a fork in it. Even the caramel was crunchy on top from being so old. If the mozzarella sticks were hot they may have been good, but alas...they weren't. I didn't get my soda with my meal. When I called to request that I complained about the food and asked for a partial refund, I was told it would be delivered with my drink, took over an hour to get my drink and lo and behold...no refund!
