    Soggy crispy Buffalo Cauliflower Wings

Granted, my expectations was that of another location, however the service was amazing! The setting is the same, however the taste in food fell short. I was looking forward to bragging on another amazing encounter.....

The pizza was good and we liked that every piece was a corner piece. It was a little oily though. We also got a salad and some cauliflower bites. The salad was on the salty side and we didn't love the dressing. The cauliflower bites were also quite salty. We liked the Detroit style pizza though.

This place is great! First visit and we sat at the bar. A friend gave us a free pizza voucher and we had to come try it. The baked meatballs are delicious. Recommended with marinara but you can get meat sauce instead. Comes with four pieces of garlic bread. It's definitely a meal. I would come back for that app with a bowl of minestrone soup and call it dinner. Wednesday is half off glasses of wine. Score!! Food and service is great.

We have returned for another visit since we had a great experience with the delicious pizza and not everyone had a chance to try it last time. I like that there was a gluten free option for my sister. We ordered it and they do take gluten free seriously. Although the crust is not quite the same, it was very good. My family just devoured it all. It was so yummy for my pizza lovers. We'll be back next time we're in town. Highly recommend!

The location itself was nice. The waitress was kind and the food arrived quickly. The portions themselves are very generous-4 squares were more than enough to feed our party of 2. However, the pizza itself was just okay. Maybe it was the specific type we chose, but it was rather underwhelming. It wasn't bad by any means, just did not meet the Buddy's hype we heard about.

First time in Ann Arbor. Loved the food and service was amazing. Very clean inside and out. The server Autumn went above and beyond making sure the order was taken and checked on the food once we started eating

    Michigan Mule - 9/10

We stopped in to Buddy's at the end of our trip. We got a medium salad, Michigan Mule, and 2 -4 square pizzas - the detroiter ( my fav) and the 6 mile. The salad was tossed in their homemade vinaigrette and their crust had the perfect crunch and was very light. Server was great as well.

Antipasto salad. Feeds 3 to 5 (medium)

Fast service, great decor food was fabulous. This salad was a medium and would have fed 3 of us 2 times over alone. The Italian pizza was dynamite 3 pieces left over feeding two but that was with a huge salad so this pie would satisfy two for sure stand alone. The burger was the "Robby Burger" phenomenal tasting burger cooked to order, a happy medium. Robby is drenched with the Buddy's awesome sauce so be sure to get extra napkins. Great meal for a very reasonable price definitely will revisit.

Delicious Detroit style Pizza!! We always stop in if on a road trip they have several locations but I have only been to the Ann Arbor location always have had very good service with friendly staff and delicious pizza my husband does not eat cheese and they are always accommodating and he loves their pizza too. So if in the Michigan area look for a buddy's Pizza you won't be sorry

    The Henry Ford

The pizza was above and beyond my expectations! I ordered the Motown Museum that came with pepperoni and bacon, which is closer to your classic pizza flavor, and I would recommend trying it. My partner loves heavy flavors in his food and ordered The Henry Ford which had a lasagna-like flavor with blue cheese (his favorite cheese). There was plenty of parking in the lot. No wait in the middle of the day at around 3pm. The restaurant was sit down dining and reminded me a lot of BJ's restaurant and brewhouse. The service was good, and the pizza takes about 20 mins to come out.

Traveling and staying in AA, spent a day in Detroit, but missed out on Detroit style pizza so we were thrilled to find Buddy's! We loved the deeper dish, square cuts, and sauce/flavor. We enjoyed some cheesy bread and cocktails first, thank goodness because our pizza took over an hour! If you are at all a cherry lover - get the Michigan Mule - it was sooo good! Also, our first time trying Michigan's own - Vernor's Ginger Ale - it was freaking amazing (kinda like a ginger beer meets cream soda). We had incredibly customer service, despite the wait, she was helpful with our drink orders, left us the leftover Vernor's post cocktail mixing - and checked in frequently with us. We really enjoyed the vibe, food, and minus the long wait, the overall experience!

Came here for some Detroit deep dish pizza! Got a foursquare size of the Sicilian, super 6 mile, and a Greek town. All were excellent. My favorite was the super 6 mile. Took some home, and it tasted just as good the second day.

First time trying Detroit style pizza! Very cute looking place. Our server was excellent and super friendly. Ordered the antipasto salad, chicken tenders, Detroit Public Tv, and Henry Ford. The server let me choose a couple of sauces for the tenders so don't have to just stick with one! The pizza was bready and soft with crunchy sides. I don't eat pizza often but I enjoyed this style of pizza. The Henry ford was really good but I couldn't really taste the blue cheese. The salad came with a ton of salami on top and the I like their vinaigrette dressing. A medium salad is definitely enough or more for at least 6 people (we had 4 and thought it was too much). Would definitely come try another flavor if I get the chance to visit again!

    Cheers

The clientele is always older folks, and it definitely has a kind of 90s Italian restaurant vibe, but the food is great, service is legit, and the prices aren't bad for what you get. I wish their tiramisu was out of this world (it's our favorite), but it's not the best I've had. (Needs more espresso, was kind of dry). The chocolate mousse was good, but much more dense/thick than expected. Their cocktails are solid and they have a nice wine list, including a fun alcohol-removed sparkling wine that I've enjoyed twice now. This is becoming a staple when we just want a nice meal out since we live nearby. Good place to take family or folks from out of town if you don't want to bother booking somewhere that gets super busy or dealing with downtown parking/traffic.

The smaller plates and dessert ranged from good to absolutely stellar, but the heavier main courses left a lot to be desired. Service was very excellent and the ambiance was a perfect place to spend a Sunday afternoon. The Standouts (5/5) Goxua: Absolute perfection. This dessert was phenomenal, beautifully executed, and easily the highlight of the entire meal. Do not leave without ordering it! Patatas Bravas: Stellar. Perfectly crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, and the sauce was spot on. Tuna Tapas: Served with shallot and serrano. Incredibly fresh, beautifully balanced, and another major win for the table. The Middle of the Road (3/5 - 4/5) Katsu Tapas: Quite good (4/5), with solid execution and great texture. Croquetas: Just okay (3/5). They were noticeably under-seasoned and lacked depth. Señorito Paella: For a dish that should be a showstopper, this was very underwhelming. It was light on the seafood, and the overall flavor profile was just lacking. Overall Verdict: Go for the drinks, stick to the top-tier tapas (the Patatas Bravas and tuna), and make sure you save room for the Goxua. Skip the meatballs and the paella.

My first visit was for brunch, and it completely won me over. The buffet had a wonderful variety of food, the mimosas and cocktails were delicious, and for the quality, variety, and service you get, the price point is very fair. I left thoroughly impressed. I came back for lunch excited to experience it again, and while the staff was just as warm and the environment just as great, however, this time the lunch menu didn't quite live up to my expectations. They offer salads, sandwiches, mac and cheese and similar American-style comfort food, which is totally fine, but for a restaurant of this caliber I was hoping for something a little more exciting. I ended up ordering a salad with added shrimp, which was absolutely delicious, and a pomegranate rosemary lemonade that was incredibly refreshing - perfect for a summer day-. But if you're not in the mood for sandwiches, salads, or mac and cheese, your options are pretty limited. My suggestion: keep doing everything you're doing because the hospitality and atmosphere are truly special, but consider expanding the lunch and dinner menu for those looking for a heartier or more diverse meal.
