Location is far, and has a lot of crowd due to Las Vegas what else. But time being fast break member helped, as the line their was not so bad. I had rented an SUV for a day, for which I was charged extra for some reason, but the staff helped take care of it, or atleast helped put notes to get it sorted out, just need to wait until they take the extra charge out. With the new rental which I was about to make was a economy car to be dropped off at San Diego, but due to system error they didn't have me on the list. The staff helped get me a Pathfinder Nissan free upgrade, which was smooth sailing. I'm a local resident, reservation through AARP Travel. 24 hours before pickup a local agent called me to inform me I would need to pay an additional deposit on a second credit card, bring proof of insurance, and utility bills to prove I lived here. This place is a horrific disaster. The worst travel experience I've ever had. They advertised the wrong desk hours, we got there after they closed (they advertised 5pm on Google but they closed at 3:00 that day) they didn't leave keys with the airport reception like all the other rental places, they didn't call they didn't text. Just left. The manager basically did nothing. Not only did it ruin our vacation and we had to spend an extra $200 on a hotel but they charged me an extra $250 for picking up the car "late" and made ME fix it with their corporate office. Here's the Scoop: Getting a early start, so we're renting a car here so we can drive to Arizona to see the Grand Canyon. Great day for it because so far it's cooler today than it has been in Las Vegas. Every day has been in the range of 103-105 degrees. In the evenings around 90-95. It's also looks like rain, so that'll cool it off some. Rates are good here for a mid-size car. This trip so far has been excellent. Great breakfast, lunch & dinners, sites and shows. Today more sightseeing I'm so excited!! The funniest part about this rental, usually you want to rent a car with a sunroof in Vegas Nah! It's a cute car Ford Focus. This is the SECOND TIME that I have reserved a car at this location and then been told that they did not have the correct car for me when I arrived. Last time, I waited 2 hours while they attempted to bring the car from the airport location. This time, I didn't hace time to wait, so I had to go somewhere else. The man at the counter explained to me that they are a small location that doesn't always have all of the car options in stock. When I asked him what the point was to me making a reservation and selecting a car that appears online to be available, I was told that the reservation system doesn't cross reference their location's actual inventory. I have been pretty loyal to Budget over the years but after my last couple rentals this is going to change. My car was in the shop for a few days so I needed a rental. I was happy to find a Budget location on Eastern Ave instead of having to rent from the airport. Check in wait was short but they were pretty pushy with the prepaid gas and rental coverage. The extra coverage was more than DOUBLE the daily rate for the car! Uh, no. I was given an older Nissan Versa with over 28K miles on it, this car had definitely seen better days. The next morning I went to leave my house and found a large oil leak all over my driveway. I drove back to Budget and had to exchange it for another vehicle. I was given an "upgrade" to a Hyundai Elantra. Again, it had over 28K miles on and was covered with minor dings, scrapes and damage. This location must be a dumping point for all the older used cars. Luckily my car was done early so I was able to return my rental two days early. Upon doing so I was told instead of $180 it would be $390 since I didn't keep it a full week. To their credit they did fix the rate back to weekly, but I still had to pay for a week even though it was only 5 days. Yeah... Some hick ups, nothing major, at the end everything has all been taken care of.. Person, (Olivia) was, very friendly... Only rented the car for 1 day... Car was very clean and in perfect condition. When returned I was charged a low mileage charge... I guess it was to cover the fuel... I did refueled it but the person at the counter could not change it in the system... Returned after the weekend and the manager refunded the amount to me without any problems since I did had the recipe from the gas station ... I booked the reservation through Expedia for a minivan for two weeks. I chose this location even though it was a bit out if the way from the airport because we could get it at half the price. Their website says they will pick you up from the airport if you call ahead. Of course when I called them they said that service was no longer available. Well, please update your website! So we had to take take a $40 cab ride to the location. When we got there at our pick up time (around 9 am) , the agent said they did not have a car available. If it weren't for my husband, I would have chewed her out. The agent apoligized but did not offer us any consolation or discount of any kind. She was no use. She told us she was working on finding a vehicle from other locations. Almost two hours later, our vehicle arrived. While we were waiting she did not offer us any beverages or snacks seeing that I had young children with me. A gift certificate to one of the stores would have been nice. I was glad to leave that place. If you want to rent at a cheaper price be ready for some mishaps. read more

I went in there to pick up a car that I reserved and had signed up for the fast break so that I can go in-and-out as instructed with the direction from getting the fast break. Olivia, the customer service rep was very rude and condensetting with her remarks! She rolled her eyes and said that the fast break is not used at this location only for airports. I tried showing her the email that I received from Budget on the fast break and she didn't even have the courtesy to look at it. This is the type of customer service we get for renting a car through this company? I rent a car once a month to travel to L.A. and back so thanks to her work ethic,she lost my business! This place has bad customer service I went in August 4 to get a week rental and when it came down to my price I had 236 total and when I came back to return the car the ticket was for 473 dollars so I told them I didn't approve that charge since I had only approved the 236 and they said I had gotten bumper to bumper insurance that I never agreed to began with so I decided to call the manager from the store to explain my issue since the store don't have cameras showing in store . And the so call manager " ken or kan " told me next time to make sure what I'm getting and to look at the price but if you people would tell the customer a different price I would've of left . And you guys give cars dirty to begin with I asked the workers why and they said because they don't have to clean them since they bring them from the airport , so why is the customer have to be satisfied with a dirty car and a manager that clicks on you while you talking to him on the phone . Used a loaner from budget rental inside the Ford Country car dealership. I was treated rudely and disrespectfully by Terry E. whom I assume is the manager when I returned the car. Don't rent from this guy. He's unscrupulous and will charge you $150 if there is any dirt in the car. Funny, the car smelled bad and was far from sanitized when I used it. He told me I had to take the car somewhere and vacuum it out and bring it back before he closed, which was in 15 minutes, or the cleaning fee would be charged. It was impossible to do that and he put the $150.00 charge on my credit card. Beware. read more

One man behind the counter only seems to be here to watch TV while the woman working doesn't seem to know what she's supposed to be doing. I have rented cars and minivans from this location approx. 12 times over the past 8 years. They usually have the best prices, but the cars are never washed and sometimes still have minor trash in them. 6 weeks ago I booked a minivan for a week at this location for $170.01 through Costcotravel. I received a phone call at 6pm last night from the manager asking if I was still going to pick up the van and I said yes. She then informed me that they have NEVER accepted debit cards for full size cars or minivans. I informed her that her location has for years and I have receipts to prove it. She told me I was WRONG.....I told her I will bring in the receipts. She said I DO NOT CARE you will NOT be renting the van for $170 from us for a week with a DEBIT CARD. I called COSTCO travel this morning, informed them of the rude managers phone call last night. A few hours later Costco called me back apologizing for the rude, unprofessional NEW manager who just started this summer. COSTCO told the story to AVIS and they amazingly matched my reservation for a minivan for $170.01 I went to pick up the van an hour ago, and they gave me a brand new 2017 van with 536 miles. This location did the old BAIT & SWITCH and did not want to rent the van out at such a great price. The worst car rental experience anyone could ever have. The vehicle was rented to me by Lindsay who is the manager. It was raining when I rented the car so we did a very quick look at the outside of the vehicle and glance on the inside I saw quite a bit of a long blonde hair in the car and I asked about that Lindsay explained their vacuum was broken and she didn't want anyone to get hurt using a vacuum that was sparking so I let that go. The next morning when I went to the car I realized it was filthy, the following pictures are my proof. When I return the car Lindsay was not available however Olivia who received the vehicle was nice, when she saw the vehicles condition she apologized. I waited two days to speak with Lindsey she was not concerned at all she told me we were in the desert and no one else is ever complained about the dirt in the cars and that her house is dusty.
