The customer service here is amazing, epic, and outstanding. When you're without your ride? You panic! What am I going to do now ? The answer! Enterprise! Again, outstanding service and excellent service from this location. Every time something has happened to the vehicle, a phone call is all it takes and we are in a rental. Whether it be the insurance company or private pay. Use Enterprise! This last experience, yesterday actually the car is MIA, and an individual needs the car to make it happen these days. The insurance sent over the authorization and the paperwork was signed within a couple hours. We are back in shape for now while we await the limbo of the process for our car . Most people not driving so the lines were actually short if any at all. Seats inside to wait at as well for the fam if you're doing your check-in. 24-7 service here, so that's nice. Straightforward. Allt he major carriers here, Enterprise, Alamo, Hertz, Payless, etc. Just give yourself some time to get from here back to the airport - it's probably 20min depending on the shuttle bus driver and they do wait for a bit to fill the shuttle.

As a bonus, love checking out places off the strip like Zaytoon, Hash House A Go Go, and the Neon Museum. Red Rock Canyon and Hoover Dam are great day trips made much easier with a car. The car rental process is never easy in Vegas, though. Take the shuttle and then wait, wait, wait. We've been given a car that was rented to someone else (and had to return for another car) or been told that what we rented is sold out, do we want an upgrade for an additional cost? No, thanks. Still, being able to drive, makes it much easier. So we wait, then head off the strip to grab lunch, stop by a grocery store to pick up bottles of water and Gatorade and then head to our on the strip hotel to park. Lotus of Siam for Crispy Duck Panang, anyone?? (Thanks to Houston's CM Jando for the great Vegas recommendations.)

This time my experience was still solid, but it was not as good as my experiences with Alamo at other airport locations. [Process]: Visitors must take a shuttle bus to get to the rental car center. The Rental Car Shuttle stop is located outside Doors 10 and 11 for Terminal 1 and Door 51 for Terminal 3. There was a 15-minute wait for the shuttle bus and another 10-minute drive to the rental car center, so visitors should plan for additional time when renting a car at Harry Reid International Airport. [Price]: $210 for 3 days for a midsize car. [Pickup]: Alamo offers accelerated online check-in. I was able to utilize it, skip the Alamo counter at the rental car center entirely, and go straight to the car at the pickup area. After I picked a Toyota Corolla, I simply gave my credit card and driver's license at the exit booth and encountered no issues. [Return]: The return was easy peasy and it didn't take long for one of the staff members to check my car out. [Conclusion]: I would definitely continue with Alamo for my future rental car needs if I ever come back to Harry Reid International Airport again.

Renting online was fast and easy, and I even received a follow up call to check if I might want to choose a different vehicle. The associate who called me was friendly and professional. Thanks! Picked up the car the next day. It was clean, gassed up and ready when we arrived. Ty was the associate who helped familiarize us with the vehicle which was very different from what I am used to driving. But I probably saved $300 over any other car rental for four days. My only issue is the gasoline. Normally they tell you to bring back the car with a full tank. I was asked if I would return it with a half a tank or empty. I said I would return it full. They said no, half a tank or empty. Apparently those are the only options. They were bragging how they are $.20 less than in town, but unless you bring it back at exactly half a tank or on fumes, you will pay too much. Only need 1 gallon for your rental? Still paying for half a tank. Absolutely ridiculous. Maybe it was a hard sale tactic because the sales person gets a commission, but I would really like the option to return with a full tank like normal. Other than that, pretty good.
