Worst car rental experience ever! The battery in the car we…read morerented died the day we were to depart for the second leg of our vacation. We called Avis Emergency Roadside Service, expecting service like AAA provides. Ha! That didn't happen. The Avis ERS contractor did not carry batteries and told us not to turn off the car after he started it, and to go back to the airport to exchange the vehicle. It took us over 7 hours, much of which we spent in a hotel lobby, since we had checked out, waiting for the Avis ERS driver to show up. To its credit, Avis reimbursed us for the entire cost of the car rental plus $200. That was nice. But two days after we returned from our vacation, Avis had the gall to send us a bill for emergency road service! At the beginning of the rental period, Avis also initially charged us for an upgrade when it did not have available the category of car that we had reserved. That was an unwelcome first for us.

5/20/26-5/27/26 Memorial weekend (week 2026)…read more Vehicle was being used by one of our Veterans who joined us for conversations with Veterans over meals. Service 5/5 Excellent non-reservation support from the store Manager and one of his associates. It was a holiday weekend and their inventory was almost non-existent. The Manager secured an economy car and had it ready in 10 minutes. The associate called me outside to perform the walk around inspection, perform final review and E-Sign outside on their tablet. The process was done quickly and we were off in record time. Thank-you Donatello (sp)? I appreciate you. Even without reservations (reservations recommended) Enterprise Rent-a-Car came through! Transportation for a crew, or just for you my friends- SYOY!

After those reviews, the Service Department Manager reached out to me personally, listened to my concerns, and assured me they were working to improve. I'm happy to say they have! I recently brought my daughter's Toyota in for a scheduled 1:00 p.m. oil change and routine maintenance. In the past, even with an appointment, a simple oil change could take nearly three hours. This visit was a completely different experience. The service was completed in just over an hour, and I received text updates throughout the appointment letting me know the progress. It's easy to write a negative review when things go wrong, but it's just as important to recognize when a business takes customer feedback seriously and makes meaningful improvements. I truly appreciate the efforts of the Service Department Manager and his team for turning around what had been a disappointing experience. They've earned this five-star review, and I hope they continue providing this level of service to all of their customers. Thank you!

I contacted Earnhardt Toyota regarding a recall on my vehicle. They took down all of my information…read moreand created a profile, but told me they were unable to bring my car in because they didn't have the parts available. When I asked when the parts might be available, I was told to call back the following week. I also asked if they could reach out to me once the parts came in since they already had my information, but initially they said they couldn't do that or schedule anything. After insisting, I was told they would call me when parts became available, but the overall experience felt unhelpful and lacking in communication--especially for something as important as a recall that already has an official fix released. I hope they improve their process for handling recall appointments and customer follow-up.

This was an inappropriate placement for someone on a business trip with very little time to spare to deal with charging the vehicle. I was unsuccessful with charging the car, despite locating a Tesla compatible charging station and downloading the app while standing outside in 100 degree heat. Therefore, I went up to the customer service desk when I returned the car (the next day... two days early on a three day rental) Thrifty charged me more than 50 cents per mile (41 miles for $22.45). They chose not to accommodate my request to waive the charging fee despite being able to validate that I did attempt to charge the car. The wait time at counter was unreasonably long at both pick up and check in. This seemed to be due to Thrifty staffing the desk with only one representative for both check in and check out. His manager would not talk with me when the desk rep called him. Instead he made the choice to put his corporate overlords ahead of a reasonable request from a customer. This was my absolute worst car rental experience.

When I got to Colorado Springs, I called the next day the number for the Superstition Springs Avis, and got Avis's customer service, which wasn't here in Arizona seemed to be that it was somewhere in India and the woman who told me to take the car to another Avis the closest one nearby, which I had no idea where it was. I had to ask her to please find me one cause I didn't know my way there and went to this particular. Avis told me and my problem. He told me he didn't know anything about it and he had no cars to let me use. He was totally out called back to Avis was told again to find another Avis to go to went to Avis by at the Colorado Springs airport was told by the young man outside that they had no cars except for electric vehicles and eight passenger vans, which I wasn't going to take either and he had no cars he couldn't help me either. I asked if I could go inside and speak to a supervisor or he said yes, but they probably won't do anything for me either so I took the car back kept it for the two weeks have called and told Avis Superstition Springs all week long from Monday to Friday about this car and I was told that the manager was going to be in check into giving me a refund today is now Friday it's been one week. I still have heard nothing and I've already canceled my reservation for August and I will never use Avis again they are not worth the aggravation and they don't care about you as a customer very disappointed

Just had a great experience with Enterprise here in Gilbert!…read more It's definitely a smaller location, but they seem to have a great operation. Had a few options a Jetta (2026) or a convertible Mustang. The Mustang (2026) wasn't quite ready as would have had to wait, which I didn't really have the time nor was it spacious enough for the amount of things I'd be traveling with. Due to that, it was quite small for my needs. In moving forward with the Jetta, I was only asked one time if I wanted insurance (I declined). When I went to pick up the car, the agent (Daniel) walked around the car with me for the drive-away inspection. I do recommend taking pictures of any (any!!) dings, scratches, imperfections etc. even with the agent tending to mark them on the contract be vigilant. Supposedly, Enterprise doesn't charge for small dings, etc., but I still wanted photographic proof, with him in the shot, and recognizing my observations and ensuring that everything was taken into account. Returning the car was quick and easy and should receive my deposit back within 2 business days! The Jetta got great gas mileage & would recommend this location for your travel needs.
