When our flight was delayed causing us to miss our connection, we had to pivot to flying out of Syracuse airport. We called Alamo on the phone and told them the situation, they said it would cost us $400 more. We were unhappy about this, and the customer service rep said to speak with someone when we return the car. Upon dropoff, we were met by Brendan and Bryce. They also saw the same number on their end, but rather than charge us that amount, they did something and we did not get charged an extra dollar. We were super stressed about our flights not making it out, and Brendan and Bryce eliminated a major problem we were facing. Thanks to both of you, I highly recommend renting a car from Alamo to enjoy beautiful upstate New York.

I wanted to make sure that this vehicle was serviced before anyone else drove it. When I was driving straight, my hands were at 11 and 4 on the steering wheel I got a charge a week later for a week's rental, because they said I never turned the vehicle in. Some small miracle happened and I was able to get in touch with a representative who was helpful and apologetic. He assured me that the charge would be refunded. I was charged another week's rental two days later. I am so irritated. In addition, my deposit was never refunded. There is no hope in getting ahold of a rep. I have no words. The associates are incompetent and this must be addressed by Dolllar. DO BETTER.

I find this very inconvenient, but it is what it is. Car selection here was adequate, not the best. Service was nice and friendly, both on pickup and checking back in. Overall, I'd most definitely return to rent from National, but this isn't my favorite location.

He definitely made the check in seamless and put me in a Toyota Camry hybrid which was super nice and great on gas. The check out process was seamless and easy as well. Zero issues or complaints!

The Avis booth helped out but we got to work with the original budget representative Trish. She asked the right questions and gave the best responses. Beyond helpful. When i returned the vehicle, one of the agents gave me a card with an email address and basically said good luck as he "hadn't talked to anyone at management in 2 weeks". However, I've had a much different experience this time. I get to the counter and the female working the counter was cold and calloused. She never greeted me with a smile, instead, she was rude in the way she kept telling me that I needed to leave my credit card in the credit card reader as she worked her computer. When I explained that made me uncomfortable, she started to get short with me about that being the necessary process to get things moving. In the end, she added all the upgrades and insurance that I've declined when I reserved the car, and up charged my credit card almost three times more than the agreement online. When I brought this up to her attention, she said the card was already ran. I asked for a supervisor and she sat there on her phone, perhaps texting her supervisor, but the whole process to get the price corrected took 40 minutes and 3 attempts in total. By this time the price was corrected, we were rushing to get to our destination with 3 receipts in hand, all with different prices. It was a frustrating start to the trip and an unpleasant experience with Hertz. I hope I'm the future, there will be better training for staff to efficiently and empathetically do their job especially at a location as busy as the airport.

The manager did say he'd waive any late fees if I needed to drop off later because of that which was really nice, though I didn't take advantage of that offer. The whole process was fairly seamless (minus some stubbornness with my card.) The office did have a bit of a damp smell. I'm always a little nervous when I see any wear on my rental and we did notice some minor scratches, but I had no issues on return. My rental car was super dependable and the process was simple. The staff was all extremely polite and helpful. I'd rent from here again if I had the need.

I first tried it because it was close to my home, but keep coming back because the staff have been wonderful, and I get consistently good vehicles here.
