This company is utterly and completely a SCAM!! the positive reviews on here I'm sure are from employees. My mom ordered a dumpster in October, the dumpster was returned early. Here it is December and she receives a invoice stating that the load was 5lbs over...All lies so let me get this straight you took a month and a half to send a invoice for $65, for a open dumpster sitting in the elements with roofing tiles and roofing materials in it? Claiming it's 5lbs over???Especially when the materials put in the dumpster were well under the line? And upon reading the true reviews on this company from other websites allllottttt of people have my same complaint? I smell a RAT company.And on top of it all the costumer service is the worst ever you won't get anywhere with them the lady I spoke with would not even let me finish speaking. If I could give no stars I would. HORRIBLE business and how they run things. Just got charged 45.50 with NO notice of the charge. When I called they had my email address down wrong. Listened to the call and I said it right but when the guy said it back he said Yahoo and I didnt hear that. So they sent the invoice to the WRONG email that I NEVER use and cant even get into now. SO you charge almost 50 bucks for going a little over on weight?! It went over by only .7!!! not even a whole pound!!! are your serious! how do we know that it didnt sit in rain or anything like that to add to it. Crappy business, I would NEVER recommend to anyone. We rented a 15 yard dumpster for the Spring Grove, IL area about three weeks ago and everything was great. I then fly back up from Alabama to rent another large dumpster to empty the remainder of things that are in a house that we moved my husband's father out of, to only find out that a different driver tried to deliver it yesterday and called it in that it was undeliverable because he was to lazy and didn't have the proper experience to back the 15 yard dumpster into the driveway like the first driver that Budget Dumpster used. I am beyond words with them right now, and called to speak with their customer service which got absolutely nowhere. I guess the driver called it in that the residence is undeliverable and they will not try to send another experienced driver out like they did the first time. I will never again use this company, and I will make sure that any of my family and friends won't use them either. They are horrible at understanding any situation and rely to heavily on an inexperienced driver that doesn't know the area to well. What a complete waste of time and effort for me in trying to use this company again. read more

While looking for a dumpster service i was coming up with very expensive firms. Then online search found Budget. I called and got a reasonably priced dumpster the next day. I gave them instructions where to place it and I didn't even have to be home. When I got home it was place exactly where I wanted it..It was clean and the door easy to operate. Pickup was same as drop off. Didn't have to be home. This firm comes highly recommended by me. read more

I can't believe this was my first time renting a dumpster. I've always avoided it because I thought they were too expensive. Budget Dumpster was very affordable and I had no issues with them. They did the drop off and pick up on the days that I requested. They even threw in a few extra days for free when I told them how long I needed it for. They told me the rules such as no appliances, don't fill over the top, and so on. I filled the dumpster all the way to the top with construction materials. I never got charged for overweight. I think I had 5000 pounds allowed. It was pretty darn easy and beats filling garbage bins each week for a couple months. read more

NEVER USE THIS COMPANY FOR A DUMPSTER!!! They use another company for the dumspters and drop off. We had a morning delivery scheduled for a roofing job and they showed up at 4pm. I told them when I ordered that I needed an AM drop off and if the couldn't do it I would need to call another company. The salesman that they should be able to make it happened. I called them 3 times through out the day on the day they were supposed to deliver it and they keep passing me to someone else who can't answer when they will deliver because they can't speak for the other company. They say they will call you back but that is a joke. The same thing has happened again on pickup. I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN! read more

Total rip off. Every other dumpster company gives you 5 tons in a 20 yard can. They give you 2.5 tons (it is written in the fine print although the man on the phone told me 5 tons) then charge $75 dollars per ton overage. All of the other companies charge $50 per ton overage. Beware of this unscrupulous company. I'm so dissatisfied with them that I'm making a point to leave a review. They were all nice enough until they the driver refused to pick up the dumpster because the debris I put in it - concrete - they claim was not "evenly distributed" throughout the dumpster, causing a safety issue. My problem with that is, there's nothing in their contract or T&C that states anything as such. I didn't have enough concrete to fill even half the dumpster, so it was put in the dumpster all on one end. They then charged me a $150 additional fee to come pick it up after I spent a couple of hours hauling pieces around the dumpster to even the load, as they asked. The whole thing was irritating and could have been avoided if they'd communicated this previously unknown requirement. I've had to dispute the fee with my credit card company because BD refused to refund me after I called to complain. These unscrupulous "revenue-enhancing" fees are illegal and maddening. I'd never recommend them. While in contact with them about this, they were arrogant and uncooperative. read more

Gave Budget Dumpster two days to deliver my 10 yard dumpster. Took the day off work. Called them at noon with no answer to when the dumpster was going to be delivered. At 5:09 PM the dispatcher called and said they don't have the dumpster available. UNREAL! I took the day off work to clear out house work for my Kids 3rd Birthday party. Now I'm stuck - Putting everything in the Garage. Wasted a day off work and had to work all night. Hate this company. Wish I could give them a 0 star. read more

My order got messed up and I got overcharged !! I got to call and actually walked this people step by step as like they don't know their business and like they are totally new and dragging their fees as they are not interested on finding out whether they overcharge me. Once it was obvious then they fix the invoice but get this: I didn't get the refund. Two weeks pass and I didn't get a refund. On the thirds week I called back again and again I have to explain all over. Now, more than a month, I got overcharged for the weight. Good grief !!! very dissapointed at how dispatch and the supervisor handled my calls when asked about my time of arrival,i couldnt get a honest answer just got the run around,if i order a burger at mcdonalds at 3 i shouldnt get it at 10 thats just how long i had to wait for someone to tell me oh its coming.there was nothing professional about the way these people handled the situation, i felt like they blew me off every time i wanted a answer to what was going on with the time of arrival waiting for budget cost me money and all they can say is who cares so what...if losing a customer is the buisness you guys are in then... thanks for nothing... read more

Beware they charge HUGE overage charges!!! On average $180-$250 per dumpster! It down-poured one day and our material in the dumpster soaked up a lot of the water, so we knew the weight would be more than it should be in actuality if it had time to dry. The dumpster pick-up was right after the rain so we weren't given that opportunity to dry out, so I called to see if they would work with us on pricing and the refused. Also they say they try to work with you on when you want the dumpster delivered and picked-up and that was absolutely false. One day I asked them to deliver in the morning and they didn't deliver until 5PM (after their 4PM guarantee- did they give me anything off for that, no). Another day I asked for pick-up in the afternoon and they picked-up at 9AM with a dumpster that was not full. Of course I was given nothing off of that even though they charged me for overages on just about every other dumpster. On top of all of this, they have also managed to ruin the song Don't Worry, Be Happy, for me! read more

very fast to deliver and pick up the dumpster. found to be the least expensive in my area plus it gave a 2 week time frame at no extra fee. would have gave it a 5 star if there was a discount for returning it early only had it for 4 days. great service and very friendly people. will most definitely use this company again. read more
