Your rectifying the problem was nothing more than an email filled with excuses. If you can not control what goes out to customers, may I suggest you get off of the internet and into your vehicle to do some "hands on" work. The dumpster left at my home was outrageously hideous and unsightly, does that matter to you...of course not. Wasn't your neighbors, wasn't your home and your bottom line is profit. The fact that you charge people based on weight and knowing that the dumpster does not go directly to a weigh station, so it can be rained/snowed upon. They wanted me to provide the SAME proof i gave to there employees....only this time they might look at it, i told him its been submitted weeks ago durring my initial 2 hr call. Haha what a joke. It was more cost effective to break off all ties altogether. The proccess was way to time consumming and not worth all the time required to try and get the money back that i feel they stole ( I would use extort instead of stole like many others said but i dont feel like getting a response from corperate threatening me to "remove" that word...). I wish I would have read the reviews on here first. Did not receive the dumpster until almost 6pm on the start of my 10 days, but was picked up bright and early on day 10. So didnt really get 10 days that I needed.Delivery driver could use a little more training , should have drove the truck in myself. I rented a roll off dumpster from Budget Dumpster on very short notice. Overall, my experience was fantastic! There was some debate over whether or not the dumpster would fit in my short driveway and the employees at Budget Dumpster went above and beyond to ensure that there would be no issues with delivery. Both investigating my house on Google Maps and then even going the extra mile by sending a consultant out to measure my driveway in person. As far as waste removal goes, I couldn't have asked for better service. I'd especially like to thank Gina who helped me through the process over the phone. This company gave us a complimentary dumpster for a week because they picked up the dumpster four days before the date we had agreed upon. They didn't pickup the dumpster after the week was up, then my card for extra days for the complimentary dumpster. This charge was despite my objections. Horrible service so far. I paid for the delivery of a 15 yd3 container and it never arrived. I spoke with the local sales rep and someone from their dispatch office. Both people claimed that it was "on its way" and that it would be delivered in the afternoon. I never received a call from them notifying me of any problems with the delivery so I assumed things were fine. When I arrived home after work, no dumpster. And when I tried to call the number of the local rep (Matt), the guy I spoke with on numerous occasions leading up to the order, his extension was no longer active and I got stuck in a loop where they eventually just hang up on you. My next course of action was to freeze any activity from Budget Dumpster and block further attempts on my card. I will be filing a fraud case with them very soon. They failed to live up to their end of the contract and I have no intentions of working with them moving forward. I want to avoid the other pitfalls that people have detailed and I sure as hell won't be paying for any failed delivery attempts. I have had 40yd3 containers delivered (about 3-4 last year) without issue, as well as other sizes. So there are no excuses I want to listen to from them about delivery issues. Very shady business practices. Got a charge a month later for my dumpster being overweight, but we didn't even fill it with heavy materials. A mattress and some hardwood flooring weighing 5 tons as they said which resulted in an overcharge of $120 dollars. Would not recommend. read more

If only we had read these very poor reviews/ratings prior to renting a dumpster from this company we could have saved ourselves time, money and incredible aggravation. Buyer beware!! The name implies great rates however, they charge you (with your credit card on file after the fact) with per day late fees when THEY do not pick up their dumpsters on the end day that you have requested. Spoke to employee in billing named Maddy- no help, non-responsive and just quoted their "policies". Asked for a supervisor and got Dave who was just as unable and/or unwilling to resolve my concerns as well. He simply kept repeating their internal "polices". It appears that it is the responsibility of the customer to contact Budget Dumpster Rental AFTER the agreed upon time frame of use to remind THEM to come get their dumpster. When we have used other dumpster rental companies in the past, you only contact the rental company if you need to EXTEND your time frame of rental not END it (since the time frame is already agreed upon when you begin services). Regardless, this practice seems very non-transparent and/or confusing to the customer and not fully explained-hence probably why their ratings are very low. SO very disappointed with the lack of professionalism, especially from the supervisor when he had the opportunity to turn the situation around and chose not to do so. Like others have said if you need the dumpster for a timely project that costs money as days go by. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I ordered a dumpster, and prepaid for it. I should've read the reviews first. I was told the delivery would happen anytime within a 48 hour timeframe. It never arrived. By the time I got home from work, 6pm CDT, the number I called threw me into voicemail. So, now I'm moving and didn't have the weekend to get things out of my house, I've already paid $300 and have to try and find another service to come out. Awesome. Why would they give us a dumpster and tell us you can fill it to this line, knowing what we are putting in it and then charge us double for over weight. How can we possibly know how much weight we're putting in? That's why they tell us to fill it to the line. They know what we're putting in. They are the professionals. They should know approximately how much we can put in the dumpster without an overage. David didn't seem to understand what I previously wrote about Budget Dumpster. Again, I calculated everything and most importantly the 320 cubic ft of cellulose(newspaper fibers). I'll say it again and trust me, there is NO possible way I was over my estimate of 6600lbs by 5800lbs!!! I'm sure the landfills are very regulated as stated. Let's be honest, without physically being there to see the number on the scale, we are in the dark. Also there was advice on asking for a receipt from the dump. It's now been three weeks and no receipt. Interesting...There are loopholes to be found in just about every system, so telling people that the "dump" are highly regulated is simply an easy out in my opinion. The actions after the load is weighed and before the the customer receives the bill are what I question. It is also what offers a business a trustworthy nature. When several people are saying the same thing, well the truth is pretty clear... Advice- put your energy towards gaining customer trust. An official copy of receipt from the dump along with the bill would be a start. read more

Wish I had read Yelp first. Dumpster was supposed to be here on Saturday. No show and no communication.

First off these guys are a 3rd party. They simply have accounts with your local dumpster places and rent from them. Basically a middle man taking a cut to facilitate the service. I initially wanted to rent a 10' dumpster as I only had some minor household junk and cardboard to throw away. The guy on the phone told me they didn't have any 10' dumpsters but could send out a 20' with a discount off the 20' price with a 1 ton limit. He said 1 ton was plenty of weight for household junk. I agreed. I filled the container probably 80% full since there was a bunch of cardboard. They picked it up everything was fine then I get a email saying I went over my weight limit. The weight came back 4.6 tons. The overage charge was $397 which is almost the cost of the initial rental. Now I know what a threw away. Mostly cardboard, household junk etc. I thought maybe I went over 1 ton but 4.6 tons? For reference 4.6 tons is about 3.5 full sized cars worth of weight, completely insane. Unless I fill the dumpster up with concrete there is no way on earth is correct. I immediately emailed them for the weight ticket. They come back and send me a internal weight ticket from the dumpster company not a certified state ticket from the landfill. For all I know the dumpster company added 3 tons just for the heck of it to rip me off. I called this out to them and they never responded and just charged my card. I have disputed the charge and will fight it out via my credit card company. If you do rent from these guys take pictures of what your throwing away because this is how these dumpster rentals get you on weight overages. read more

WARNING***DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY***. I rented a dumpster and when they came to pick it up the driver had an empty dumpster with him. I needed the dumpster gone because I had other construction material coming later that day. Well at this point the driver could not take the full dumpster because they screwed up and brought an empty one to my house. The driver left, I called budget and told them I needed the dumpster moved, because I had material coming later that day. They said they were trying to get another truck out there. After a few minutes they put me on with the supervisor. He claimed that the truck driver tried to pick up my dumpster and it was too heavy. That was a lie. He never tried to pick the dumpster. Then he tried to tell me the dumpster I got couldn't be filled to the top. Again another lie. Obviously he doesn't know what he is talking about because he had to call someone and then call me back to tell me I was right. He said he was trying to get another truck out to my house. Then he calls me and says it'll be later in the day, so I call to push my other material back. Then he calls and said it wouldn't be picked up at all until the next business day. This was on Friday so it wouldn't be picked up until Monday. He also states that he has to charge me a trip fee of $150 because the driver couldn't pick the dumpster and he has pics of the dumpster being overloaded. I told him to send me the pics I want to see. Never sent them. I got an email for the trip fee of $150 but some reason no pics. Hmmm. I replied to the email stating I wanted documentation of the charges. CRICKETS. Bottom line is they screwed up and trying to pin something on me to re-coupe their losses. STAY AWAY. read more

I rented a 40 cubic yard dumpster from Budget rental and I'm very satisfied with the experience. The dumpster was delivered exactly as stated. I heaped the bin up to the very top, called them up and they hauled it off. Easy as it gets! I shopped around. One thing I like about Budget Dumpster, is their prices are quoted right on their website; no calling place after place to get quotes. I did not find a dumpster that was less expensive. I'm surprised someone complained about being ripped off. The website is pretty clear about the rules; just follow them. I'm going to use their dumpsters next to get rid of a large concrete footing from a retaining wall. read more

This people are crooks. I was charged an over limit fee 3 DAYS AFTER, the company picked up the dumpster. The debris located inside of the dumpster was level with the dumpster, per instructions I received from dispatch. There were NO appliances, metal, or heave material inside of this dumpster. ( I sold all of the metal to a scrapping company) How can a dumpster that supports a 2 ton limit, be over the weight limit, containing only FURNITURE. And of course there is no way to prove or verify the company's claim of an over weight limit, as I do not have a 2 ton or 3 ton weight scale. The first time I scheduled the dumpster to be picked up, the company refused, because there were a few pieces of debris located over the top of the dumpster. so to give you an update on the scam this company is doing to my company. i rented 13 dumpsters from them 1st one being dec.3rd of 2018. the last one being around mid march. i had a 2 to 4 ton limit on each dumpster but we would never know which one would have what weight limit aloud i had to pay overage weight on anything above that amount so ok fair enough. i asked many times for the avg. weigth for the materials i would be putting in on each sized dumpster which i already knew what the weight was going to be becasue i have been doing this for so long. we received our first overage invoice on 3/14/19. almost all of them came at on that date totaling close to 9000 dollars in overage fees hahahahaha. that is almost 4 months they could have emailed called written telegraphed smoke signaled to let me know what was going on. this company is a complete rip off and will scam you even if you cross your ts and dot your i's. they just dont care they will lie to you, take money right out of your account with no warning. this happened to myself 3 times for almost 1200 bucks, so i fired them after they paid me back of course. then my partner used them against my attempts to convince him otherwise. they did the same thing to him 3 times. took money right out of his account no warning or no request for a dumpster to be delivered by us. we called up to the dump site called overdale transfer station in winston salem n.c to get proof of the weight they said we used. which in some cases was 16tons over only to be told the account isnt in my companies name its in another company of theirs called clean up contractors. overdale transfer station wouldnt release me the information i requested after i explained what was going on. i am still yet to receive all 13 invoices in question. they have only send me 7. i still have not received anything showing they attempted to inform us of the overages, no contracts have ever been sent to me, no information on the company that they used to pick up my dumpsters, not a single letter, phone call or email other than the invoices we are being charged by mike hass etc. nothing. after being threatened by mike hass to blacklist us from any other dumpster company using us, ruining our credit and putting bad reviews about us online they dropped the number we owed from 9k to 4k and said they paid the difference already. true story. mike said budget dumpster took more than a 5 thousand dollar loss on the entire deal. really how many businesses do you know would pay more than half of another companies debt and still be in business NONE. to wrap this up i said ok ill pay the 4k just to never have to deal with you again and move on but i will only be able to pay you in 1000 a month and only after i get the proof i need from the dump site overdale transfer station that proves the weights we allegedly had.i have received nothing not a word from the site or budget dumpster. mike just got mad and sent this absolutely ridiculous fraudulent case to their collections agency MBW. So they wont give you any proof of what you are being charged and if you do the research yourself you will be told that they cannot release any information to a client of budget dumpster and refer you back to them. probably cause they do this so much. now i am building a case against them on multiple levels so that as soon as these collections calls start coming in from MBW my lawyer and i will be ready to fight this and press charges on budget dumpster to boot. I cant believe this country doesnt have strict laws and regulations put in place so that companies like this get the book thrown at them when they attempt to rip off small businesses. i have written my state representatives asking them to look into this matter and will continue to. do not be bullied by this company cause thats what they are doing to myself and so many others. do not rent from these scam artists you will be sorely disappointed. i cant think of a single scenario that renting from them would be better than actually calling a dumpster rental company near you and doing it yourself because the reality is thats all they are doing. if you have an issue atleast you will be able to go speak to someone about it face to face. i will keep posting updates on here to let everyone know what is going on with this nightmare as well as facebook and other social media platforms until this matter is resolved. thanks for reading and spread the word about them to as many contractors as possible. read more

I just finished my BBB report about this company. They overcharged us. We tried to explain to them they gave us a 15 ton dumpster, and we showed them the dimensions. They said it was a 20. Not true. Five different contractors even said it was not a 20. The Billing Manager is a jerk. He refuses to listen, and he doesn't care about his reputation. I'm making it my goal to let people know about this company. Two weeks after we rented from them, they charged us 239,00 dollars because of overage fees? This is the worst company of any sort I've ever dealt with in my life. They are misleading in their price presentation on the internet (it will cost you more no matter what), and they are leveraging their internet presence to get your business. If you want real service and real prices then call your local dump and get a reference from them. These people are dealing with them and marking up everything they get from them. $100 minimum mark up for everything they'll give you. You think they are the one's that are servicing you, but they're not. They are not local and are only getting money out of people because of their internet presence and they do that as best as they can. I was charged $600 (+ the 360 which was $40 more than the initial advertisement) more than they advertised to dump clean dirt ($960 total). I called the people that they were using (the actual dump company) and they did NOT actually back charge Budget for the "extra tonnage".They actually told me my understanding of the charges and the conversations I had with the actual dump place was irrelevant.
