For example, one of the other car dealerships prevented us from taking the car to an independent mechanic! You know they were hiding something with the car. Anyway, not only did Texas Cars Direct let us take the car to an independent mechanic, they were professional, not pushy like some of the other guys we dealt with, and easy to do business with. Mike, it was a pleasure doing business with you. Thank you for selling us the newest car in our company fleet! P.S. If you come across a clean, unmolested 1990 to 1993 Mustang convertible, give me a call!

    I purchased a Ford F250 from TexasCarsDirect back in September. I flew in from Chicago to pick up…read morethe truck. Upon arriving and meeting with David Urby, I took the truck for a test drive. There was some minor issues but the most glaring was the check engine light. David said the issues would be taken care of, go to lunch and come back in a couple of hours. He called me and said they needed a part that would not be there until Monday. David paid for my flight home and said the truck would be shipped to me. I received the truck late the next week. When driving from where I received the truck, the check engine light came on. I notified him of this issue and he said to have it fixed locally and he would reimburse me. It has been several months and many texts and calls and still no reimbursement. Up until this point, David lived up to his word but I am extremely disappointed to have to write a partial negative review due to not receiving this promised reimbursement. In addition, the check engine issue took two times to resolve, the second requiring an additional cost which I decided to absorb thinking I would get the promised reimbursement. In closing, David did live up to his word on everything until this reimbursement issue so I can't give a 5 star review due to this

The experience was smooth and he is very knowledgeable about every car he purchases and sells. He insured me that all my request would be completed which included ordering a 2nd pair of keys and detailing the vehicle. Kamiar also insisted on helping me search for competitive prices on maintenance and tuneups to make sure my car lasted a lifetime. (This assistance is rare/impossible to find in the car industry) If you're in the market for a vehicle I would highly recommend utilizing his service to meet your needs. 5 stars

    PLEASE READ BEFORE BUYING…read more This is long overdue. I tried not leaving this review, but the public has to know. I don't deserve what I'm going through with my perfect credit score being over 740. This vehicle has a recall since 2019, but the dealership doesn't touch anything aftermarket, it has to be stock. When I first saw the vehicle, I checked the engine light since it was deleted. I barely saw enough since I didn't want to be caught. Now that I have the vehicle, there's more than what I expected. Again, bring an engine code reader, don't go by what they say. I'm spending over $1,200, and there's a lot more I'm having to pay to get my valve springs repaired which is around $800-$1,600 to fix. So yeah, I'm one "happy" customer alright. I already replaced the fuel filler neck and charcoal canister that was causing the fueling up the gas tank problem, and now the most expensive one yet is my valve springs that's causing a lot of things to go wrong with my ride. I got crapped on, big time time. I surely hope everyone double and triple CHECKS ANY vehicle before buying. Don't just go by what anyone says at all. That is all. Thank you.

They are very nasty and shaddy in the way in which they treat their customers. Turned my car off and told me unless I paid the entire amount owed it could not be turned back. Left me sitting in my car in the pouring raining storm. There was lightening and thunder and the guy is telling me "The system won't allow him to turn back on the car, even if I paid just half of the whole." Granting I was telling him I would pay the other half in less than a week. Then, I asked to speak to an accounts manage, was told they got to send them an email and got to wait 24 to 48 hours to get a call back from a manager. This is some real unprofessional, low-classed NONSENSE! So, if there is an urgent need for a manager that can't be done? What would I do with my car in that time? He honestly told me I would have to leave it there and I guess trot through the storm. This was crazy to me! I don't care if someone owes you, this is a person's life in jeopardy. I have never in my life met any company like this in any industry. I would advise anyone and I mean anyone that is thinking about trying this company to stay farrr and I mean farrr away. Do not mess with this company at all! These people are heartless and only see their clients as dollar signs. Additionally, there cars always malfunction and keeps you spending money trying to fix them. Then, they would gladly call you every week, two weeks, month (whatever your pay cycle is) for their money. Again, Stay farr away from Adonis Auto Group!     DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!…read more In June 2023, I purchased a 2017 Hyundai Sante Fe from Adonis Auto Group. In September 2023, my engine light came on with diagnostic codes indicating it was the Catalytic Converter and O2 Sensor. Upon contacting the service center, I was advised, without a second thought, to seek an outside repair shop. That repair cost me $1500 out of pocket, because Adonis "doesn't do catalytic converters." In January 2024, my engine light came BACK on, with catalytic converter codes and engine know sensor. After returning to the mechanic who replaced the converter in September, I called Adonis Auto Group to express my dissatisfaction. They agreed to pick it up to diagnose the vehicle. After roughly 2-3 days, they advised me that I needed a front and back catalytic converter, which had I "went through Adonis for the repair, it would've been covered to replace." On February 16, Adonis picked up my vehicle for the repairs- that was the last time I seen my vehicle. Since February, I have spent countless hours on hold with the Service Center. In April, I was told they finally repaired my converters. Allegedly, during the "quality check ride" the engine light started flashing rapidly. George, the service center representative, told me I needed a new engine. While waiting at least two weeks for the repair, and after sitting on hold for an hour, George told me that the repair shop they outsourced the job to had been lying regarding repair updates. George presented the resolution of Adonis replacing the engine in-house, and it would be ready in two business days. Well, that didn't happen. George advised me, again after sitting on hold for over an hour on the day I was told it would be ready, that the engines they had "in-house" didn't fit. The service manager decided to outsource the repair AGAIN, except to a "personal friend" this time. Now, here I am four months into a repair with no vehicle, perpetually delayed ETAs as recent as this Friday (06/07/2024).

It seems this dealership USED to force charge extra $2k-3k worth of add-ons such as warranty and tint and coatings and other things that could not be refused. I then read a comment by the dealership that they are turning a new leaf and including those things in the up front price. Man, talk about not getting it. It isn't the up front or after price that matters, it is the forced upgrades to begin with. Most people don't want that. Provide a way to opt out of these things and not pay them at all and I may consider buying with you from out of state. Otherwise that's a hard no to a dealership who seems to be clueless at best, and bordering on dishonest at worst. Even with the price disclosed up front, these things should not be force included even if disclosed, that is what makes it borderline dishonest. If they confirm this policy has changed, will be happy to change the review score. But honestly, their huge disclaimer on the online listings kind of indicates you are being set up to be screwed and then pretend like "hey, we warned you" and that is what made me check the yelp reviews in the first place. Just get a clue and realize the price doesn't matter it is the fact you are forcing them to buy things they don't want to buy.

Most of the reviews on yelp are written shortly after the purchase, but I think it's more helpful to hear from people a few months down the line. Do the quality of the cars live up to the purchase experience, or is this a Wormwood Motors scenario? Well, it's been 5 months and about 6000 miles. The car is PERFECT. Drives great, no problems. Just took it in for an oil change and to have everything checked out before a little roadtrip and all is well. Without hesitation, from start to finish this was a 5 star experience. Buying a used car from a dealership was a new experience for us and we were really nervous. There are so many dealerships with terrible, just TERRIBLE, reviews. We know nothing about cars. How do ignorant people like us defend ourselves against slimy car salesmen? Our only hope is reviews. We followed the 5 star reviews to BBC Motorsports. They happened to have had the car we wanted at the time we needed it at a price we could afford. Jason was honest, upfront, patient with us, and kind. This was not just our best car buying experience, this was one of the best sales experiences of anything we've ever purchased! We're not fancy people and we hold onto cars longer than most. I'm relatively confident I'll be driving this suburban until my kids leave the house. But when our 2008 Honda Civic finally bites the dust, you'd can be certain our replacement vehicle will be from BBC Motorsports.
