Been there a couple of times with personal car where they installed parts that I provided! Great job friendly I may have dealt with the manager or owner! Very pleased!
Took company car for complete brake job, dealt with a different guy, horrible attitude and his major concern was they close at 2 on Saturdays plus it was Memorial Day weekend. He had no cars in the shop or even it the lot at 8:00 that Saturday morning. Paid about 600 dollars.
Fast forward, took car there last Saturday around 1 pm and Mr Personality gave me an estimate on installing 2 shocks I had purchased, price seemed reasonable give that I had tried installing but could get the old shock off the spindle due to rust and age, they needed heating. One car on one rack, no other cars in shop or parking lot, two employees and of course Mr. Personality couldn't do it because they close at 2, told him I'd return next week.
Here it is next week, took car there around 9:30 am, one car on one rack, which my the way they have 3 racks, one of which you drive on to the other two your car is lifted by the frame so tires can be removed etc, so one car on center rack, but Mr. Personality and the other guy that is just standing there can't start my car because the 'other guy' had taken the brake pads from the other car to the store for warranty?!?!? Oh, and the thing that set me off......Mr. Personality reminded, at 9:30 in the morning they close at 2! I told him he had an attitude and after dealing with him more than once, he does. Mind you, the guy who I believe is the owner or manager, great friendly and I'd recommend this place if you deal with him.....but if you have to deal with this other clown who apparently can only deal with one car at a time and will just to stand around and wait while someone else runs to pick up parts when you have one rack there that another car could be put on, the guys just plain lazy.
So given the odds you'll end up with Mr. Personality, I'd take my car to a professional shop and deal with professional mechanics who understand the meaning of customer service.
In conclusion, I mentioned I told Mr. Personality he had an attitude, a couple of times, and of course he told me I had an attitude...and to go somewhere else....which Mr. Personality wasn't smart enough to understand that I'd already made that decision.
I'd avoid this shop. read more
