Zack and his team did an excellent job applying a UV reflective coating to our riveted metal patio and sunroom roof--definitely not an easy project. They properly power washed the surface before applying the paint, and the difference is incredible. I can genuinely feel about a 15-degree reduction in heat, just as promised. Our sunroom is now significantly cooler--even to the touch on the underside of the metal roof. We were so impressed that we had them extend the coating to our outdoor patio roof as well, which has also made a noticeable difference in temperature. I really appreciated that Zack was willing to accommodate my request to use a specialized UV reflective coating (commonly used on RVs), instead of pushing standard industrial paint like others had suggested. I'm so glad I stuck with this product--it truly works! I hesitate to even write this because I feel bad leaving a bad review, but my overall experience…read morewas really bad and yelp was what helped move me forward in choosing them to paint my home. Customer service-wise they were great. Communicative, showed up, etc. The painting? Not so much. I chose them after a recommendation from someone in a facebook group, seeing all 5 stars on yelp, and during the initial walk-through for the quote he seemed very focused on being meticulous. We are also very meticulous, so we were happy to find someone on the same wavelength. The quote was very expensive (about 9k for 2 story 2000 sqft) but he said he'd throw in painting the cabinets (and the baseboard stuff I will mention more below) but that it wouldn't be cheaper without the cabinets. I figured since cabinets are usually pretty expensive to get done well that it would be worth it to have them done. Much stuff happens without event. We weren't yet moved into the home at the time, so the house was empty. We paid him and went for the walk-through to check everything out (by ourselves). He told us if we see spots that need touch up we can stick some painters tape and they will come back for touch ups. So we are looking through our house and there is so much overspray on things like doorknobs, wood stairs, cabinet hardware, etc. Lines on things like baseboards and at windows were rarely clean. Many areas had painters tape still stuck on that was painted over so if you pulled it off you'd pull off tape. Drops of paint on the floor. Hardware painted over rather than removed (like in apartments where they just keep piling on the paint!). Etc. The house was also left a mess. Paint dust everywhere. My husband was concerned he wouldn't even come back because we already paid him. He did come back. Unfortunately, even after coming back the issues were not addressed. This time, we asked him to do a walk through with us so we could point things out. Again, he came back. He did try to do things like clean overspray, but he started using paint thinner we asked him not to use (our young children were in the house) and asked me to look at spots he did and they still had spray on them. At that point, we just cut our losses and asked him to leave and decided we'd take care of whatever rather than asking them to do stuff that wasn't going to happen. The reason I chose not to paint my house myself is because I expected a professional would do a better job. This was not hitting the mark at all. I suspect during prep they didn't really clean anything prior to painting. For example, there was hair painted into the wall. They wanted to cut time and costs and also sprayed places they shouldn't or less carefully than they should (I don't know anything about paint spraying, other than overspray shouldn't be everywhere, so something was done incorrectly). Currently, 6-7 months later, in many places in the home there are cracks developing in the paint either due to poor prep or too thick of an application. It's just sad because we paid so much for a paint job we thought would be super professional and ended up with something that doesn't look great and will probably cost a lot more to make look nice by painters next time. If it ever even can. He seemed more focused on the "extras" he wanted to do. Did we appreciate he randomly put baseboards in our closets that didn't have any? Sure (although he ran out of baseboard and left some undone and we were like "well, we'd rather just not have any than half done." he did add more after we mentioned it). Did we appreciate he re did the corners of baseboards on rounded doorways where they were very off? Yes. Did we appreciate he changed a section of hallways that had a different type of baseboard to the same? Yes. But was it worth have a horrible paint job? No. Photos are just a small sampling for examples. Am i ridiculously meticulous? Absolutely. But I do believe this goes beyond what an average person would feel satisfied with, especially paying on the higher end.

SUPER STOKED WITH THE RESULTS!!!!! I contacted Justin for a quote to paint my 15 year old, small,…read morebackyard basketball court (25' width x 24' length) and his quote was very competitive with other companies. I wanted a light blue free throw lane/key and the rest dark blue and also a Jordan jumpman logo. We originally scheduled Wednesday, January 28th but he was able to start on Tuesday, January 27th. I also had a concrete repair company come on Sunday, January 25th to repair some long cracks and patch up several small holes in the concrete. On Tuesday, It took about an hour or two for us to measure the "regulation size" free throw lane. Once we were happy with the measurements he snapped the guidelines and put down some painters tape and he used an electric blower to clean the court. He started painting the same day and he came back on Wednesday to finish the job. Overall, I believe he applied 2 coats of each color. He was honest about his Jordan logo stencil not looking perfect so we agreed to not do the logo. Nevertheless, I was very happy with the aesthetics for just two colors and white lines. Look at the before and after photos! He used a type of paint that keeps cool to the touch even with direct sunlight. We have not played basketball yet so maybe I'll do an update on the texture/grip of the court. We would definitely contact Justin again for any of our painting jobs and will refer him to our family and friends. Thanks Justin!!!
